Panther Metals announced the results of its auger drilling programme over part of its majority-owned Merolia Gold Project in Western Australia. We caught up with Darren Hazelwood, CEO of Panther to update shareholders on yesterday's announcement. Darren Hazelwood, Chief Executive Officer, commented: "We are very pleased with the results of this first auger drilling programme over the Merolia Gold Project. The programme has discovered a significant gold anomaly which extends over 5km x 2.5 km in the central part of licence E38/3384. There are also several other more subtle gold anomalies which trend approximately NW-SE, extending from the Comet Well gold trend in the north. These gold anomalies are also coincident with anomalism in several other elements, which support the likelihood of primary gold mineralisation in the vicinity. The Company is now evaluating the opportunities to progress this project towards an reverse circualtion drilling programme to test these anomalies and several other gold prospects in the area."https://www.share-talk.com/darren-hazelwood-ceo-of-panther-metals-plc-palm-l-interview-2/

In this episode, SooJin and Hannah invite Karla Benson Rutten (from episode 2) back to dive deeper into raising multiracial, antiracist children. SooJin opens the conversation by naming the victims of the recent shootings in Atlanta, GA, and Boulder, CO. She shares how these events are impacting her personally as a Korean-American woman, and she explains how white supremacy, a system of dehumanization, contributes to these violent acts. Together we recognize how antiracism helps to connect us through our shared humanity and how community plays a critical role in processing the pain. Our intention for this episode is to envision a multiracial and antiracist society and become better versed in each other’s narratives. Karla, who describes herself as a Black cis-woman, is married to a white man. Together they are raising two biracial, Black children. Karla is one of the most intentional, deliberate, and strategic antiracist parents we know. During the episode, Karla shares the ways in which she “vetted” her white partner before getting involved. She talks about some of the dynamics they had to navigate with their friends and family, what it was like when they became parents, and the racist, sexist stereotypes and biases she had to negotiate because her children didn't necessarily look like her - especially as babies. Karla and her partner have built a strong foundation for their family, which ultimately serves to protect their children. We strongly recommend listening to this episode if you’re in an interracial relationship or are raising biracial or multiracial kids. Karla’s wisdom and experience is profoundly moving and inspiring. Please note: We sometimes use the acronym BIPOC, which means Black, Indigenous and/or People of Color. In this episode we use the term “nibling,” which is a gender-inclusive way of referring to the children of siblings - replacing niece or nephew.Resources:I'm Chocolate, You're Vanilla: Raising Healthy Black and Biracial Children in a Race-Conscious WorldRaising Multiracial Children: Tools for Nurturing Identity in a Racialized WorldWebsite to learn more about Mentored Troops: www.GirlScoutsRV.org/CommunityEngagementOde to George: Reflections on George Floyd’s Memorial Site at 38th & Chicago (Now Accepting Submissions!)Learning for Justice article: https://www.learningforjustice.org/magazine/summer-2013/when-bad-things-happen?utm_source=Learning+for+Justice&utm_campaign=ff0c94f8ab-Newsletter+3-23-2021&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_a8cea027c3-ff0c94f8ab-101589733Medicine Stories podcast (E38) with guest Lyla June: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/38-healing-our-indigenous-european-ancestors-lyla-june/id1317478907?i=1000429149558&l=esComing to the Table (Minneapolis chapter): https://comingtothetable.org/organizer/minneapolis/TwinCare Dental on E. Below are a list of investing principles to consider when approaching your financial plan for 2021. This episode is paired with E38 (part 2) so the second half of the notes will be attached to the audio in E38. BIBLICAL NARRATIVE - trade and invest by the Biblical narrative which we nickname "tree, fruit, tree..." Our investments need to be in a machine or tree that is able to bear fruit which can grow another fruit bearing tree. This allows us to be in close proximity to the growth and also allows us to be generous monthly instead of after receiving a yearly stock dividend check.CLOSE TO HOME - Bring your investments close to home meaning you can see, feel and touch the value that is being created and also be in relationship with those who are helping you create that value.DIRTY HANDS - Warren Buffet is known for coaching traders to "trade what you know" - in a season where there is little to no transparency in the stock market, we believe it is paramount for seasoned and new investors to get their hands dirty and truly know what it is they are trading.INVEST IN TANGIBLE VALUE - this being value that is easy to see and experience mainly through the barometer of measuring customer sentiment. If you can see the value and see the customer enjoying the value that has been created for them, then it is an asset worth looking into.REDUCE EQUITY EXPOSURE - better said, STOP putting so much trust in the stock market where there is little to no transparency or understanding of growth and value. Move your assets to promise based assets or FIXED INCOME ASSETS. (we described them as "fixed assets" in the audio but they are correctly named, FIXED INCOME ASSETS). In addition to buying into "products" that are being sold to you, even good fixed income products, please consider investing in or starting a small business and build tangible value for customers in your community.**Principles 6-10 will be attached to E38: 10 Essential Principles to Build Your Financial Future in 2021, Part 2Contact:PW Gopal - pw.gopal@thebluecollarmoney.com, pwgopal@pwgopal.comMike Hatch - mikehatch@thebluecollarmoney.comResources/ Mentions:The Fourth Turning
Despite the pandemic limiting our full-speed ahead travel mindset, we're grateful we can move around (a little) and experience new things. One thing we've learned over the past two-plus years is how rewarding long-term travel is. In so many ways. We discuss a few of these in E38 of From Sumplace New:No end date or feeling of finality. No pressure to have an amazing time in a concentrated period. Revisit coffee shops and restaurants and get to know the staff — and even forge friendships.Experience more of the day to day rhythms of the local community — more immersive and integrative.Concentrate on locations/surroundings/opportunities that speak to you — go to a place or region, see how you feel and what you like, and go from there.Create a sense of familiarity in an area, which is rewarding and fosters connection.People/locals treat you a little differently when you’re there as a “slow traveler” vs passing through as a tourist — demonstrates commitment and respect about where you are and why.Time!

Postcards to Space. You've heard of postcards from faraway places, but have your heard of a postcard in space? Frank Roche's guests for E38, Maria Lanas and Nicole Stott, have. Together, they have used the power of art and launched it into space. Maria founded Projekt Posctard in Kastav, Croatia in 2014. More than 1500 children have had the opportunity to create art and share their postcard art stories. And Nicole, who has experienced two spaceflights and 104 days living and working in space on both the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station (ISS), founded the Space for Art Foundation, and has partnered with Maria on the Postcards to Space initiative.
