In today's Daily Fix:James Gunn recently admitted he wanted to add a Deadpool cameo in Peacemaker's Season 2 finale. Ryan Reynolds was apparently on board, but Gunn knew getting the okay from both Warner Bros. and Marvel/Disney would've been too big of a legal hurdle. Gunn has big plans for Peacemaker outside of his HBO show, with the DCU expanding next year with Supergirl, the Lanterns series, and the Clayface film. In other news, Warner Bros. has set a date for the Minecraft movie sequel. It's expected in July of 2027, and director Jared Hess is expected to return along with most of the cast. One Battle After Another, is what I should rename this podcast, because the movie was that good, and a full review is inside. Plus Xbox takes another self imposed L, Sony gives itself a gold medal, and EA goes private. The Simpsons are headed back to the big screen, and an AI "actress" has Hollywood in a fervor. Plus Forza Horizon is finally headed to the land of the Rising Sun, and Ubisoft gives Assassin's Creed a new home.

The Justice League verses the Secret Society, who will win? The group that works together the best. Gorilla Grodd has gathered The Shade, Giganta, Killer Frost, Sinestro, and Clayface. Grodd has been working his mental control abilities on the League for months, messing with their emotions and making them feel stressed around each other. Watching the cracks form, he takes his Society and attacks when they're vulnerable, proving they can be beaten. He is not content to let them walk away privately.  He wants to end them publicly. So, he sets a trap and captures all of them except Green Lantern. John, in tracking them back to the cave, tries to step in to free his team, and puts up a good fight, but is ultimately captured. At a Gotham Knights football game half-time show, the Society crashes the party. They are going to publicly execute the League. But Martian Manhunter has been impersonating Clayface. He frees the team and they finally begin to work together and cover for each other. They defeat the Society and agree to apologize to each other and move on together...or so it seems. In today's Daily Fix:James Gunn has announced the next Superman film in the rebooted DCU: Man of Tomorrow. Gunn already has a treatment for the story written, and is expected to go into production in the very near future. Next up in the DCU theatrical schedule are Supergirl and Clayface, due out next year. In other news, Amazon Prime Video's Tomb Raider series has found its Lara Croft in Sophie Turner. The Tomb Raider series will be written and executive produced by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. And finally, the Perfect Dark reboot was almost saved at the last minute by Take-Two Interactive. Developer Crystal Dynamics was in discussions with Take-Two to handle publishing duties, but the deal ultimately fell through. Work on the game reportedly continued even after the game was officially canceled by Microsoft.
