After struggling to find playing time during the 2023 college football season, it seems that former 5-star recruit, CJ Hicks, is finally primed to see action for the Ohio State football defense in the 2024 campaign. Former Buckeye linebacker Steele Chambers had some interesting things to say about his teammate, but it seems the time is finally right for Ryan Day and Jim Knowles to unleash the phenom. Could CJ Hicks be the defensive catalyst that Ohio State needs to defeat Michigan football and make a run at the Big Ten conference championship? Warriors cruise, Iowa lands former Buckeye WR Kaleb Brown, Jason Loutsch on the Kentucky Derby with 3 horses in the field
Just 3 days after entering the transfer portal, former Ohio State wide receiver Kaleb Brown is making a visit to the Iowa Hawkeyes football program. Is it realistic for the Hawkeyes to land the talented wide receiver? Iowa has connections with him dating back to high school where he was a 4 star prospect. Iowa has plenty of playing time to sell. Can they sell an improved offense? The Hawkeyes also picked up a commitment from 3 star offensive lineman Bodey McCaslin out of Illinois. Thoughts on him and how important it will be for Iowa to get offensive lineman and keep them healthy after the injury bug has hit that position group. Some thoughts on Mediapolis (IA) 5 star punter Drew Miller who has offers from Georgia, Michigan and Texas, but nothing yet from Iowa. And on the basketball front, is Fran McCaffery done in the portal? Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors! Built Bar Built Bar is a protein bar that tastes like a candy bar. He said Johnson has all of the traits to be successful at the NFL level. Bobby said the Michigan game wasn't a great one for Johnson, but if you see what he did against Georgia, it should answer any questions a team may have. Bobby also gave some insight on Dawand Jones, but said teams will have to be on him to make sure the weight doesn't get too much for him, although he seems to carry it pretty well. He thinks Jones can be a pretty good right tackle, but he needs to be paired with a good technique coach.
