Dr. Phil ventures into the wild world of prepping, where families and individuals are gearing up for doomsday scenarios amid political tension and global uncertainty. With the political climate boiling over and the specter of disaster looming, a surprising trend is taking root: prepping. Once dismissed as paranoid fringe behavior, preppers are now part of the mainstream. Dr. Phil delves into the psychology behind prepping, uncovering the motivations and fears that drive this growing movement. From nuclear war to civil unrest, the threats are real, and preppers are ready to face them head-on. Landon and Amanda are a prepper family, stocking their high-tech underground bunker in Indiana with enough supplies to withstand an apocalyptic event. Dr. Drew Miller says his Fortitude Ranch locations across the country are prepped for over 50 different scenarios that could collapse the US. Tylor is a survivalist in Utah who says preppers have been given a bad name. Dr. Bradley Garrett, a prepper researcher, gives insights on the psychology of prepping after studying people all over the world. But as tensions escalate and uncertainty mounts, Dr. Phil urges viewers to consider the true cost of preparedness. With humor and insight, he navigates the fine line between caution and obsession, reminding us all to live in the present while preparing for the worst. It's a gripping journey into the heart of survivalism, where the line between fear and foresight is razor-thin.
We talk about collapse a lot, we do so from many angles. But what if I told you the same government that tells you it won’t happen has calculated the odds of it happening based on 49 possible triggers at … Continue reading →

Studio Sponsor: Cardio Miracle - "The finest heart and health supplement in the world!" Are you prepared for disaster? Learn how to survive economic collapse, pandemics, and loss of law and order from retired Air Force Colonel Drew Miller of Fortitude Ranch. In this episode of The Brian Nichols Show, host Brian Nichols interviews Dr. Drew Miller, founder of Fortitude Ranch, America's largest survival community. They discuss how to prepare for disasters like economic collapse, pandemics, loss of law and order, and other scenarios. Miller explains that new technologies like AI, nanotech and biotech are increasing the likelihood of catastrophes that could lead to collapse. Miller warns that threats like solar flares, cyber attacks, EMPs or bio-weapons could take down critical infrastructure like the power grid. With 90% of the population unprepared, the death toll could be massive. He criticizes the lack of government action to harden the grid against EMPs. Miller also alerts listeners to the coming H5N1 avian flu pandemic, which the WHO confirms is now spreading amongst cats in Poland near the Russian border. Nichols and Miller explore how the massive size of government has made critical systems vulnerable. With bio-labs worldwide, regulating biotech is impossible. Miller argues that gain-of-function virus research, though intended for good, enables individuals to engineer deadly pandemics. Survival will go to politicians in bunkers, criminals, and groups like Fortitude Ranch. Miller explains how Fortitude Ranch provides affordable survival community memberships starting at $1000 per person annually. With 7 locations currently and expanding through franchising, Fortitude Ranch features lodging, food, training, ranges, and recreation. Members vacation up to 2 weeks a year for free at any location. Miller emphasizes that city dwellers especially need a bug-out plan and location. He advises relocating to rural areas and joining preparedness networks. Just 3 days after entering the transfer portal, former Ohio State wide receiver Kaleb Brown is making a visit to the Iowa Hawkeyes football program. Is it realistic for the Hawkeyes to land the talented wide receiver? Iowa has connections with him dating back to high school where he was a 4 star prospect. Iowa has plenty of playing time to sell. Can they sell an improved offense? The Hawkeyes also picked up a commitment from 3 star offensive lineman Bodey McCaslin out of Illinois. Thoughts on him and how important it will be for Iowa to get offensive lineman and keep them healthy after the injury bug has hit that position group. Some thoughts on Mediapolis (IA) 5 star punter Drew Miller who has offers from Georgia, Michigan and Texas, but nothing yet from Iowa. Because of the many laws against sex with minors. If a teenager can “identify” as a 25-year old, then the predator who abuses her cannot be prosecuted for having sex with a minor. Sounds outlandish? It's coming. * He ended his presentation with a warning about pedophilia. He said that pedophilia characterized the final epoch of every civilization (like Rome and Greece) that has crumbled. Are we there yet? * David Barton reminded us that the Founders read the Bible a lot. And, not only did they read the Bible, but they memorized Bible verses as well. * Barton said that schools in the early days of our Republic tested students annually on four documents: the Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution, the state constitution, and George Washington's Farewell Address. He challenged us to read scripture every day. * Marlo Oaks discussed ESG (Environmental Social Governance). He quoted James Madison who said “crisis is the rallying cry of the tyrant.” I thought to myself about COVID lockdowns and vaccine mandates, “Wow! That is certainly true!” If the Dark Side can dup us into believing there exists a crisis, then they can impose nearly any tyrannical measure they wish. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/loving-liberty/support

This was a weird one for me as my students flipped the script on me as they asked to set up the guest for the 100th episode of our podcast. As they took the reigns, I had no idea they would bring on people to ask me the questions I have been asking industry professionals. My students' passion is shown in this episode and should be celebrated, as this is truly their success with this podcast and our program. I am so proud of what they have accomplished. I want to thank everyone that has taken part in this journey and followed along. We love you all. e

Jon talks with Drew Miller, NHL Alum & Insurance Agent at Korotkin Insurance Group, about how to reinvent yourself and the power of discipline. Drew Miller played professional hockey for 12 years and retired to live after hockey. He transitioned into the insurance industry and loves working with people and helping them protect the assets that they worked so hard to have. As the new Ted Nugent album, Detroit Muscle, is unleashed on society, I wrangled Ted and his drummer Jason Hartless to talk about it. I feel like Ted is finally starting to come out of his shell. (LOL) We talk about the record and the feeling of releasing new music. He tells me about his gig this weekend with a very special guest. We talk about the guitars he brings with him on tour, famed Detroit guitar legend, Jimmy McCarty, cover songs, visiting the White House and lots more. Drummer Jason Hartless is up next, around the 18:00 mark. Of course we talk about the album and the making of it. How does he deliver what feels right for Ted? What's it like playing and touring with such a legend? I even snuck in some questions for former NHLer, Drew Miller, who's a mutual friend of both of ours. That's just for starters....enjoy! -Meltdown- https://www.tednugent.com/ http://www.jasonhartless.com/ https://wrif.com/podcasts/talkin-rock-with-meltdown/ https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063571627797
