Episode Notes What happens when branding chaos meets creative grind? In this episode of Until You Make It, Chris and Mike sit down with designer Chris Rumeau to dig into the messy middle of making things—from sketching hundreds of logos on graph paper to rebranding a local coffee shop, chasing clients through Instagram reels, and figuring out how merch design can carry a career. Along the way, The Bitterheat's debut video gets dissected, flag football strategy gets way too serious, and the crew debates whether “Razor the Mattress Salesman” was actually cool. From logo dumps and stinger experiments to AI visuals, the crew unpacks how creative work actually happens: late nights, weird tangents, and plenty of trial and error. It's a mix of design shop talk, production talk, and accidental comedy—all in one episode. What You'll Discover: How sketching logos by the hundreds can unlock a brand identity Why merch design is a secret bridge for musicians and artists How Instagram reels can actually land real clients The comedy of signatures, stingers, and failed branding experiments The pros and cons of letting AI “help” with creative work Whether you're grinding through freelance projects, chasing music dreams, or just here for the ridiculous side stories, this episode blends practical lessons with plenty of laughs. 00:00 – New Name? On this week's mid-week show we take a look at the Green Party's uptick in polling thanks, seemingly, to new leader Zac Polanski. ALSO: a far-right watch segment that looks at various protest group's inconvenient penchant for kid grooming and child porn. ALSO: The Trump Signature shit is really heating up. Is Trump, himself, a paedophile? Maybe this is a paedophilia special? With the exception of Polanski whose only crime is to share the last name of a man who ravaged a child. But there is no suggestion that Zac himself is or was involved. Cannot stress that enough. Here are some links i really hope you click: Patreon

The Left’s obsession with mail-in ballots is nothing short of insanity — and today we expose why. Mail-in voting has become the gateway to fraud, creating loopholes that criminals and corrupt politicians exploit with ease. From ballots harvested out of nursing homes, to dead people mysteriously “casting” votes, to ballot dumps that show up in the middle of the night — the evidence is overwhelming. On this episode of Stinchfield, we rip apart the narrative that mail-in ballots are “safe and secure” and reveal the real-world cases that prove otherwise. Americans deserve elections we can trust — and the truth is, mail-in voting has destroyed that trust. This isn’t about voter access; it’s about control. And the Democrats know it. www.EnergizedHealth.com/Grant www.PatriotMobile.com/Grant TWC.Health/Grant Use "Grant" for 10% OffSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Here in New York we're not due to select our next mayor till November but somehow it feels like we're already embroiled in pre-election chaos. Eric Adams is now running as an independent, and to do so he was required to present the signatures of 7,500 New Yorkers who support him. He actually handed in around 50,000 signatures so he more than made the cut off. But when our colleagues in the WNYC newsroom (and for the podcast NYC Now) began to look into those signatures, they stumbled onto a scandal. On the Media is supported by listeners like you. A WNYC and Gothamist investigation found that some of the signatures Mayor Adams's re-election campaign submitted for him to be on the ballot this fall as an independent were fake. David Brand, housing reporter for WNYC and Gothamist, Clayton Guse, WNYC/Gothamist editor, and Brigid Bergin, senior political correspondent for WNYC and Gothamist, share what they found and what it could mean for the mayor's re-election chances.
A WNYC investigation found dozens of forged signatures on petitions submitted by Mayor Eric Adams' campaign to get on the November ballot. The petitions also included names of deceased voters. We break down the findings and the implications.

Welcome to the heart of Spellcraft Summer, witches! In the first episode of this special 3-part series on Spellcrafting 101, Laylla and Chelle crack open the grimoire to explore the foundational building blocks of spellwork: correspondences. What exactly are they, and why do they matter? The witches unpack the classic concept of "like attracts like" and the Doctrine of Signatures, an old magical belief that nature marks each plant and object with a clue (or signature) to its purpose. From colors and crystals to herbs, elements, days of the week, and planetary energies, the witches explore how correspondences give your spellwork structure, symbolism, and energetic alignment. They also talk about why you don't have to memorize every book table out there and why Chelle swears by journaling your own experiences to build a personal system that's way more powerful than a one-size-fits-all chart.Whether you're just beginning your spellwork journey or looking to refresh your practice, this episode is your warm, witchy invitation to deepen your magical language and start casting spells that truly speak to your magickal self. She shares personal stories about hiring, pivoting during staff changes, and knowing when it's time to move forward—emphasizing how she physically feels intuitive signals and the importance of honoring those instincts, even (and especially) in high-stakes moments.Manifesting Opportunities and Using Energetic SignaturesManifestation isn't just a buzzword for Claudia—it's a daily practice. She reveals how keeping the “how” out of manifestation, starting with small intentions, and building a track record of trust in the universe has helped her call in everything from the perfect business location to a fully electric kitchen. Claudia also discusses the Intuitive Success Quiz and explains how understanding both her own and her team's unique Signatures allows for harmonious, effective collaboration.Key Episode Quotes“There's nothing that I can't create or manifest. The faith comes from practicing and seeing it work—start small and build proof.”“It's a balance—the more you honor your intuition, the greater dividends it pays. But as a business owner, you also need to know your numbers and have a plan.”Key Questions Answered1. What practical steps did Claudia take to manifest major wins for her business?[12:09] Claudia shares that her manifestation process started simple—with intentions and daily affirmations written in a journal and expanding as evidence built. She discusses manifesting her ideal business location and securing solar panels, highlighting the importance of removing the “how” and letting the outcome unfold. “Each day in my journal, and each time we were setting intentions around the moon—solar panels, I'd like that... and I removed that ‘Well, how's that going to happen?'” 2. What advice does Claudia have for aspiring entrepreneurs and intuitive leaders?[34:59] Claudia emphasizes the need for balance: “I feel that when I built the kitchen and the space we're in, I relied too heavily on magic [...] but I didn't do my due diligence with the numbers.” She encourages combining practical business planning (knowing your numbers, backup plans) with intuition and manifestation. “It would be to make sure that you have a plan, create the vision in your mind and make it a big vision. [...] But make sure you understand your numbers.” Connect with Claudia Lawrence & Dinner Is Served!Website: https://dinnerisserved.com.au/Location: Ballina, New South Wales, just south of Byron Bay, AustraliaInstagram: @dinnerisservedauFind them locally: Search “Dinner Is Served” in Google Maps to visit their award-winning cafe or order ready meals in the Northern NSW region.Subscribe, Rate, and ReviewEnjoyed this episode? In this episode of Bionic Planet, we continue our dive into the complex and often contentious world of community conservancies in northern Kenya, focusing on the Biliqo Bulesa and Cherub Community Conservancies. The episode opens with a powerful statement from community members, emphasizing that the ongoing legal battles surrounding these conservancies are not about the interests of the community but rather the agendas of a few individuals. We introduce Mustafa Mohamed Libin, a community member from Biliqo Bulesa, who shares the story of how his community took bold steps in 2007 to form a conservancy that is truly community-run, contrasting it with the historical context of land ownership in the region. The episode highlights the positive impacts of the conservancy, including the revival of traditional grazing practices and the introduction of carbon finance to support community initiatives. However, the narrative takes a darker turn as we discuss the backlash faced by the conservancies, particularly following a report from the Oakland Institute that accused the Northern Rangelands Trust (NRT) of various human rights abuses. We explore the subsequent media frenzy that ensued, often lacking proper fact-checking and failing to consult actual community leaders. The episode serves as a follow-up to episode 117, providing deeper insights into the crisis faced by the community and the urgent need for their voices to be heard. Throughout the episode, we hear directly from community members, including youth representatives and conservancy leaders, who express their concerns about the recent court ruling that deemed the conservancies illegal due to alleged lack of consent. They recount their shock at the judgment, which they claim was made without their knowledge or participation, and discuss the significant benefits the conservancies have brought to their lives, including access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. The community members passionately defend the conservancies, asserting that the allegations made against them are unfounded and that the real beneficiaries of the conservancy are the local people. They highlight the transformative impact of the conservancy on women's empowerment, youth engagement, and community development, emphasizing that the conservancy is a lifeline for their livelihoods. As the episode progresses, we address the misconceptions propagated by external organizations and the media, which often portray the conservancies in a negative light. The community members clarify the differences between community-run conservancies and private conservancies, asserting their ownership and the positive changes that have occurred since the establishment of their conservancy. In closing, the episode underscores the importance of community voices in the narrative surrounding conservation efforts. The community members call for transparency and engagement from external organizations, urging them to visit and understand the realities on the ground rather than relying on hearsay. This episode is a powerful testament to the resilience of the Biliko Bulesa and Cherub communities and their unwavering commitment to protecting their rights and livelihoods amidst external challenges.
