Happy Full House Friday Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I conclude the SISTERS Double Feature PART 2 with Full House S5E14: Sisters in Crime, which aired on December 17, 1991. In this episode While the guys are at a hockey game, DJ is in charge, but when a hunky guy comes over and asks DJ to the movies, she agrees. Then she realizes that she has to take the girls. At the movies Stephanie spends all of her money at the concession stand, leaving DJ with no money for the tickets. So she asks Kimmy to sneak them in (Kimmy works there). The manager of the movie theater catches them and DJ has to cut the date short. Then she has to teach her sisters to lie so that she doesn't get caught. I really enjoyed this episode. Now, this Steve 1.0 we get(Scott Weinger's first appearance as Steve, only it's Steve Peters not Steve Hale, that comes in Season 6), I was not a fan of this version of Steve he just comes off as unlikeable, nothing like the heart of gold version we all know and love from Season 6-7 and Fuller House Season 1-5). It's interesting watching this episode this time around now that I work at a movie theater. I should have tried to figure how much money was spent on concessions by Stephanie and Michelle in 1991 vs. 2022. I'd say probably over $50 was spent on popcorn, drinks and snacks by 2022 costs. By 1991 costs, I'd say maybe $20 give or take and that's not including the tickets. Becky's Aunt Ida is getting spoiled by seeing the twins twice in two back to back episodes. That's probably twice more than Becky or Jesse parents. I bet anything you know Ida is bragging to Becky's mom about that. I mean this is the same woman who bought Becky the book, Wise Women, Foolish Choices (as a wedding gift). It's clear that none of Becky's family likes Jesse at all, even her cousin in Season 6 says (we all expected Rebecca to do better). I wish we could have see the charity hockey game with Danny, Joey and Jesse that would have been fun to watch. I mean Jesse constantly falling down because he can't skate (we see this in Season 6 Nice Guys Finish First), now seeing Danny on his hands and knees cleaning the slush around the goal crease since he's the goalie as pucks just slide past him into the net, I would have laughed at that. DJ got on my nerves with how selfish she was, doing whatever she had to do in order to go on her date with Steve, including pulling Stephanie away from her homework and taking a sick kid out of the house (to a movie theater no less, so many people especially kids to catch her cold). Then she has them lie on top of it so she won't get in trouble. Join me next week when we celebrate John Stamos's birthday with Full House S7E8: Another Opening, Another No Show, which aired on November 2, 1993. In this episode The Smash Club is about to open, but everything that can go wrong does: Joey books the wrong band, Kimmy gives her waitress uniform a "creative" touch, and no one can find the owner, Jesse. I hope you enjoy the episode and have a great weekend! To EMAIL The Podcast GO TO: omhcfhfhpodcast@gmail.com

Happy Full House Friday Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I covered the final episode in the "Reunion" series, with Fuller House S2E11: DJ and Kimmy's High School Reunion, which aired on December 9. 2016. In this episode a high school reunion leaves DJ wondering whether she still has feelings for Steve, while a hapless Kimmy is trending for all the wrong reasons. I enjoyed this episode, but Michael Campion's (Jackson Fuller)acting in the scene where Stephanie tries to talk to him in his bedroom and he's tearing up or trying and failing to cry it just feels like those scenes that require him to be upset or portray a strong emotion is difficult for him, we're so used to seeing him play a not taken seriously goof and Lola obsessed. Also the surprise cameos, Kathi Santoni (YAY!), Duane (Kimmy's ex-boyfriend from Full House Season 8) (YAY!), Nelson and Viper (BOO!) we could have done without this two they were too cornball and way out of place (DJ even asks Viper , "What are you even doing here, you didn't go to my high school). Apparently, he's now a sad sack who's just wasted at the time who works at Foot Locker. Nelson (not played by Jason Marsden BTW instead played by Hal Sparks) is ridiculous and just brags to DJ about how much money he still has, multiple homes and a jet, WHO CARES! Thankfully Steve comes to rescue her and they dance to "Everything I Do" (I'd Do It For You)from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, they even have a special dance they do to this song as they belt out the lyrics (If you remember them crooning to their other favorite movie song "Unchained Melody" from Ghost in Fuller House Season 1, Save The Dates, this one isn't much different than that, just add the dancing. Join me in late July when I celebrate two Full House and Fuller House Cast Member Birthdays with episode dedications, for Lori Loughlin's (Aunt Becky)Birthday, Full House S8E21: Leap Of Faith, which aired on March 21, 1995. In this episode Jesse tries to stop Rebecca from bungee jumping--but thinks it's okay if he takes risks. Michelle cons her dad into letting her go to a rock concert. and Michael Campion's(Jackson Fuller) Birthday with, Fuller House S1E6: The Legend Of El Explosivo, which aired on February 26, 2016. In this episode DJ punishes Jackson, causing him to miss his favorite Mexican wrestling league, Lucha Kaboom. But that only leads to more action for the fans. Have a great weekend everyone! Happy Full House Friday, Angela Bowen, here the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I'm covering the next episode in the Jesse & Becky: The Next Chapter: New Parents Series, Full House S7E4: Tough Love, which aired on October 5, 1993. In this episode Nicky and Alex's behavior gets out of hand when Becky and Jesse can't bring themselves to discipline them; when Jesse finally puts his foot down he starts to regret it after the boys call him 'mean daddy'. I enjoyed this episode, Jesse and Becky come to the realization that their twin toddlers are out of control and in reality they should have been disciplining them a while ago instead of waiting till they were two and are wreaking havoc in the Tanner home. Vicki's monthly visit to see Danny leads her to opt out of going to a restaurant with all 10 of them and instead volunteering her services to cook for everyone in the Tanner home. Now, what Vicki makes is probably her staple diet with goat cheese pizza and pesto spaghetti (I actually wouldn't mind trying the pesto thing). Danny warns her that his daughter's palates haven't evolved yet and they turn their nose up at anything that isn't chicken, hamburger or pizza (regular pizza) ya know, kid pleaser staples. In fear of Vicki's feelings being hurt, he pays off Stephanie and Michelle in advance(DJ and friends are left to tough it out the hard way, I guess),which in the end he just insults Vicki by doing, along with Steph and Michelle making jokes about the goat cheese and actually wiping off the pesto spaghetti with a napkin (removing said pesto, leaving a plain noodle). After destroying Michelle's solar system diorama and causing a ruckus at dinner Jesse and Becky finally agree they have to put their foot down and punish the boys. Well, actually Becky has Jesse do it and report back to her. Bottom line, it couldn't be avoided any longer. Jesse loses his temper and the boys turn on him calling him "mean daddy". Becky tells him he did the right thing by following through punishing them, after she catches him trying to sneak dessert up to them. They both realize the boys need limits and rules to grow up to became good upstanding gentleman or two college dropouts who run a fish taco truck (see Fuller House Season 1 for example). Join me next week when I cover the final episode in the series with Full House S7E12: Support Your Local Parents, which aired on November 30, 1993. in this episode Jesse and Becky are concerned that Nicky and Alex won't socialize with other kids, and attend a parent support group. In the meantime, Stephanie and Michelle learn D.J. has received a traffic ticket and request full access to her wardrobe or they'll tell Danny. Have a great weekend and a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! To EMAIL The Podcast Go To: omhcfhfhpodcast@gmail.com

Pat Mullin and Mark Radulich wrap up their look at the Netflix original series, Fuller House!
Hey Full House Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I had the opportunity to chat with fellow podcast listener Shamim Dana, who is celebrating his 27th birthday today. We talked about our memories of Full House and our predictions for the last half of Fuller House Season 5, as well as other topics like, Blockbuster Video, Toys R' Us, Star Wars, Power Rangers, his extensive autograph collection and celebrity meets at Comic Con Conventions, He also regaled me with his chance of a lifetime meeting and playing with John Stamos and the Beach Boys as his wish was to recreate his favorite Full House Episode scene from S2E6: Beach Boy Bingo where the Tanners go up on stage and perform with the Beach Boys. His favorite episode of Fuller House is S2E10 New Kids In The House. He's also gotten autographs and met other Full House cast members such as Bob Saget (autograph), Dave Coulier (autograph and met), Jodie Sweetin (autograph and met ), Andrea Barber (autograph), and Candace Cameron (autograph). I had a fun time hanging out with Shamim and hope you all enjoy our chat together. Hey Fuller House Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I'm covering the new trailer for Fuller House, Season 5 Part B. In this episode, I give my reaction, then breakdown the trailer scene by scene, and give my predictions for where I see the kids later on in life. In just 3 short weeks from today, June 2, we will finally get the missing piece that completes the Fuller House Season 5 puzzle. I'm so happy that they are releasing it sooner rather than later, just with everything going on right now, we really could use this bright spot in our lives at the moment. We need the smiles, the laughs and sadly enough the tears the will most definitely be shed since we're saying goodbye all over again to the characters we grew up with when the show premiered in 1987 and of course the next generation of kids, that we've only had the short amount of time knowing for the last four years since Fuller House debuted in 2016. I hope you enjoy this podcast episode and I will be covering Season 5 Episode 10 and Season 5 Episode 18 in June for the podcast. Have a great week everyone! If you'd like to share your thoughts and predictions of where you see the characters ending up EMAIL The Podcast at: omhcfhfhpodcast@gmail.com Don't Forget To SUBSCRIBE To The Podcast wherever you listen to it and leave a REVIEW! Hey Tanner Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I covered S4E10: Terror In Tanner Town, which aired on November 23, 1990. In this episode Danny's new girlfriend introduces her mischievous son to the family. This is the first of two Rusty filled episodes that I will be covering for the month of April appropriately titled Master Of Disaster Episodes. It's interesting hows this episode came out shortly after the release of the movie Problem Child (starring the late John Ritter) which would later spawn a sequel a year later and of course preceded the biggest box office hit to grace the movie screens in November, Home Alone (I reviewed this movie over a year ago and is available to listen on the Looking Back On My Wonder Years Podcast) starring Macaulay Culkin who himself would play a bad seed of sorts in 1993's The Good Son (which I covered on the Looking Back on My Wonder Years Podcast last fall). This kid Rusty is clearly going through some hard stuff, his Dad moving out, his parent's divorce, seeing his mom dating again and using the Tanner family as an outlet for his pain and frustration through harmless pranks. I love how this comes back in Fuller House Season 2 Happy New Year Baby where Max DJ's middle son locks Ramona and Lola and also Jackson and Popko in their rooms via jump rope and DJ says how she never should have told Max about Rusty's prank. Granted if the next episode is any to judge Rusty by, I'd say he just gets off on tormenting people, no one gets hurt mind you (physically) he just loves messing with their minds as we see in the next episode I will cover later this month S4E11: Secret Admirer, which aired on December 7, 1990. In this episode The Tanners invite Cindy and Rusty over again for a backyard barbecue. Rusty writes a phony love letter which causes confusion as each member of the household reads it in turn, all believing it to be from a different person. Join me next week for a special episode for Candace Cameron Bure (DJ Tanner Fuller), I'll be covering S1E22: DJ Tanner's Day Off, which aired on May 6, 1988. In this episode D.J. skips school and sneaks down to the mall to get a celebrity's autograph. Happy Friday Tanner Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Here’s the next episode of the Jesse & Becky: A Love Story Series Full House S4E18 & S4E19: The Wedding Parts 1 and 2. Airdates: February 8 & 15, 1991. In this episode it’s the night before the wedding and the Tanner house is a buzz with chaos as we have: Becky’s parents meeting Jesse (continuity error, as they have already met when he went down there to Nebraska for one Christmas or Thanksgiving one year ago) It’s awkward trust me. Just as awkward is when Michelle is reintroduced to Howie, she has no idea who he is. Not surprising because before Howie in Season 2 was blond and played by two girls and in this one he’s rocking a dark haired curly mullet (hey, the 80’s called, they want their mullet back). It’s a shame over the two years they didn’t keep up correspondence like a pen pals. Either way Michelle is in her I don’t like boys phase. This is actually one of Becky’s gripes when she unloads on Jesse (seriously, Becky, it’s not that big a deal. I’m sure she’ll forget he exists again as soon as he leaves) Changing clothes in the kitchen with a house full of people. Looking at you Danny and Joey. Father in law not a pep talk. What not to do on you wedding day: Skydiving In Part 2 Jesse gets stuck in a tree and lands in the back of a tomato truck in tomato country. Also he gets arrested. Everyone else is at the church trying to track down Jesse and keep Becky from becoming a Bridezilla. Michelle and Howie = mini bride and groom so adorable. Did I mention this is all being filmed, pre wedding stuff by Stephanie as part of the wedding documentary as a wedding gift we can all laugh at later. Becky discovers Jesse is in jail and goes to bail him out and then they hijack a choir bus to get back to the wedding. This is the last appearance of Jesse’s parents Irene and Nick (Irene is heard kind of in a phone call after the twins are born and Grandpa Nick or should I say Great Grandpa Nick is seen in Fuller House Season 3.) The first time we hear Jesse sing Forever and it’s beautiful. Overcrowded House Reception Finally Married as Jesse and Becky leave on his motorcycle for their honeymoon. Join me next week for the continuation of the Jesse & Becky: A Love Story Series as I cover S4E20: Fuller House, which aired on February 22, 1991. In this episode Michelle is upset when she learns that Jesse plans to move out of the house and into Becky's apartment. Hey Tanner, Fuller, Gibbler Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today I covered Fuller House S5E9: A Modest Proposal, which aired on December 6, 2019. In this episode Fernando talks DJ into helping with his proposal to Kimmy, but it's DJ that's in for the surprise. I wanted to cover the Season 5 midseason finale before 2019 ended so we can begin on a clean slate for 2020 when Part B of Fuller House Season 5 airs in the Spring. I didn't tear up when I first saw this episode, but boy did I during this time. I loved the kids helping Jimmy at the sandwich shop, also Max bragging about getting paid complete with vision, dental and 401K and his plans to retire at 17 and buy a condo, Ha, ha! If you'd like to EMAIL the Podcast Go To: omhcfhfhpodcast@gmail.com If you're enjoying the podcast head over to Itunes or use your Podcast App on your phone and leave a review. Be creative and have fun. Use Emojis to describe your favorite episode or character. Enjoy the last day of 2019.

Pat Mullin joins Mark Radulich to review Fuller House season 3 part 2! Fuller House is an American sitcom created by Jeff Franklin that airs as a Netflix original series, and is a sequel to the 1987–1995 television series Full House. It centers around D.J. Tanner-Fuller, a veterinarian and widowed mother of three sons, whose sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmy—along with her teenage daughter—live together at the Tanner's childhood home in San Francisco, California. Most of the original series ensemble cast have reprised their roles on Fuller House, either as regular cast members or in guest appearances, with the exception of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who alternated the role of Michelle Tanner in Full House. The show is produced by Jeff Franklin Productions and Miller-Boyett Productions, in association with Warner Horizon Television. Netflix ordered an initial 13 episodes which were released on February 26, 2016 worldwide. The third season is split into two parts, with the first half of nine episode being released on September 22, 2017, and the second half on December 22, 2017. While the first season reception was generally negative, the second and third seasons received mostly positive reviews.

We had the awesome opportunity to talk to writer's assistant Taylor Friedman, who gave us a really insightful view of the Fuller House writer's room, the nitty-gritty work and attention to detail aspects of an assistant, and some really great thoughts on navigating the writer's room and getting noticed for bigger opportunities with the staff. Fuller House writers have a really tough job creating something new in Fuller House, while still paying homage or respect to the original Full House. It has to offer up heaps of nostalgia on fans from the late 80's and early 90's, while still developing a new fan base with different tastes and references. No easy feat. It's really exciting to see that Jeff Franklin is at the helm with practically everyone from the original show including Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, Lori Loughlin, Jodie Sweetin, Candice Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber and John Stamos, who executive produces. We are really excited to hear more about a show that has helped start the trend of bringing back old hits from the 80's and 90's and resurrecting them for newer audiences. This episode gave me the opportunity to catch up with a friend, and it was exciting to hear all about her career. Fuller House Season 3 premieres on September 22, 2017 on Netflix.

Justine Krueger is back to help us sift through the remains of 'Fuller House' season two: A Tangled Web! Glazed & Confused! New Kids in the House! DJ and Kimmy's High School Reunion! Nutcrackers! Happy New Year Baby! We got through every single sloppy second of it and were pleasantly surprised to find that it's actually better than the former half of the season ... in some ways. Pro: Multiple black actors are given speaking roles. Con: The show decides to give Max a girlfriend in a display of bizarre, difficult to quantify homophobia that is honestly astonishing. Important note: We're taking two weeks off for the holidays, me lovelies, so we'll see you again come January 9. We love you. We'll miss you. But you will never be far from our minds. Creepy, right? XOXO
