It's the ludicrously-belated fifth and final episode of WHAT WOULD WALT HAVE DONE? "MONTH" on Escape From Vault Disney! And to wrap up this batch of episodes on the most awkward time period in Disney history, the randomizer goes all the way back to 1976 to cover an example of Disney's most reliably lucrative (or at least, least reliably un-lucrative) genre at the time, the dumb-as-rocks slapstick-heavy live-action comedy! And what a comedy it was, assembling more exclamation-point-worthy TV stars than a primetime variety special - Ed Asner! Don Knotts! Tim Conway! Tom Bosley! Bob Crane! Dick Van Patten! Dick Butkus! The Guy Who Voiced The Cat From Outer Space! - and then casting them all in a motion picture where the REAL star is a dumb mule who somehow gets drafted as an NFL placekicker through the use of Air Bud logic twenty years before Air Bud. In this week's episode, best friends Zane Taylor Hughes and Dave Biscella talk about the time they recently spent together. They also discuss whether they are more comfortable sticking to strict plans or making it up as they go. They also reflect watching old VHS tapes of their younger selves and the play they were in together in high school. They also talk about where they originally learned improv and discuss art in prison, looking through old comics, dinosaurs, the fantasy genre, and more! They also interview Dick Butkus (not the football guy) and Stacy Rimjob of the Improv Troupe the No-Buts about the art of improv and how they aren't your grandma's improve troupe. They also check out an episode of a new hit TV show and play some diaries recorded during their recent travels. And, as usual, there's plenty of friendship and nonsense along the way. Look for new episodes every Tuesday wherever you get your podcasts or at MyShoesHurt.net. Please bare with us for the first handful of episodes, as they may not be released in the order they were recorded. Bubba Smith was a defensive end in college and pro football. He was a star player for the Michigan State Spartans, one of six players to have his jersey retired by the university. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1988. Bubba was the number one pick in the NFL/AFL draft. He was the Baltimore Colts starting left defensive end for five seasons, playing in Super Bowl III and V. It was in the 5th Super Bowl that he won his only bowl ring. His outstanding playing ability earned him a double-team. You might remember him from the TV commercials for Miller Lite with Pro Football Hall of Fame defensive star Dick Butkus. Bubba was best known for his role as Moses Hightower in the “Police Academy” movies. He published his autobiography, “Kill, Bubba, Kill” in 1983.

The New England Patriots were the gold standard for NFL franchises during the Tom Brady era. In his absence, not so much. Jason asks the question: Who was more critical to the culture in Foxboro, Belichick or Brady? The panel also weighs in on who they believe is the most impressive player in today's game. With the passing of Jim Brown and Dick Butkus, Jason asks our Hall of Fame panel which HOFer gets the most respect when the players gather in Canton.
