In our second installment in this “Month of Boo'“ on The Magic Word Podcast, we feature a “family friendly” entertainer, Michael Campion. He is a young “heart throb” for adolescents who watched the five year series “Fuller House” online where he starred as the character, Jackson. It has been six years since we last visited with Michael when he was then just 16. Today his interest in magic has come to the forefront and he is currently performing on weekends in a one-man show at Beetle House in Los Angeles called, “Haunted Mystery Show of Magic.” Tickets are available by Clicking Here. The reason we revisited with this young man is to discover his journey from a family entertainer to a magician who is now featuring a seance as part of his show. Michael is not the first actor in Hollywood to have a love of magic and performing and balance it with his acting career. Another one who comes to mind is Steve Valentine. *This episode first appeared on the Eurasian Society podcast and sees Michael Campion step in as guest host. Sophia Hotung's family were trailblazers in this city; her great great Grandfather Sir Robert Hotung being the first one to really pave the way for Eurasians in society during a time of racial segregation in HK. Naturally, we touch upon some of that fascinating history but we also wanted to ensure that we captured the present and did justice to Sophia's journey, because she is an inspiration to many and a very talented artist and writer in her own right.Sophia is the illustrator behind 'The Hong Konger' and we talk about dropping out of the corporate rat race early, the struggle of entrepreneurship against the backdrop of her 7 (yes 7) autoimmune diseases. We discuss Eurasian identity, disability, and belonging. We talk about the pressures of tiger parenting, societal scorekeeping, self-esteem, and thus the importance of keeping something sacred. Having a hobby or passion that is yours, that nobody else can touch. We end the podcast on some principles and inspirational words to live by. Sophia is wonderfully articulate with a lovely turn of phrase, and I felt that throughout the entirety of our chat there was a great generosity of spirit. She shares things openly because she believes it will help motivate, illuminate, or open doors for others, and the world needs more people like that. I hope that you enjoy this wide-ranging conversation as much as I did. ______The Eurasian Society is a charity that aims to promote and improve the lives of Eurasians through awareness, education and opportunity. Happy Fuller House Friday, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, in honor of Michael Campion's (Jackson Fuller) Birthday, I covered Fuller House S4E8: Driving Mr. Jackson, which aired on December 14, 2018. In this episode Jackson and Ramona's first high school party has major consequences, when Jackson got drunk. Becky and Jesse team up to host an awards show, where a big win goes to Matt's head. I enjoyed this episode, but honestly could have done with Gia as well as that adulterous woman from the Mommy and Me class that was constantly hitting on Jesse to the point of getting a little too handsy with him. We really didn't need the Jesse and Becky sideplot IMO because it took away from what could have been a better episode with Jackson facing the consequences from DJ due to his drinking at a party. The talk could have been better like Jesse and DJ in Full House Season 3 Just Say No Way better. Granted it wasn't horrible but, more time could have been spent on it, is all I'm saying. Join me in August when I cover The SISITERS Double Feature PART 2, with Full House S4E21: The Hole-in-the-Wall Gang, which aired on March 1, 1991. In this episode Jesse and Joey set about renovating the attic into a loft for newlyweds Jesse and Becky. DJ and Stephanie argue. Have a great weekend everyone! Happy Full House Friday Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I covered the last episode in The Almost Break-Up Double Feature, Full House S6E11: Designing Mothers, which aired on December 8, 1992. In this episode Danny meets Vicki's mother, an interior designer, who redecorates Stephanie and Michelle's room without consulting him and it leads he and Vicki to argue and break up. I really enjoyed this episode. Danny and Vicki never use the words break-up like Jesse and Becky do, they just have a disagreement and she leaves, it's Steph and Michelle that call their newly redecorated room "the break-up room". I, for one love the new room design. I also agree with Danny that Vicki's Mom, Liz had no right to redecorate the girls's room without his permission. Liz told Danny redoing the room was her form of an apology for her out of line questioning him the day before. A simple I'm sorry would have worked too, Liz. Although to be honest it was time for that room to be made over. On a side not Joey and Jesse are dealing with a new boss Allison Axelrod at the radio station and both are divided on how to approach this supposed rumor that she's changing the radio station over from rock 'n roll to classical music. Assigned parking spots is her way to break the ice, which Jesse originally mistakes for a pink slip of getting fired. Poor old man Artie or Arnie does in fact get the axe because as Allison puts it "he's dead weight" since he's been with the station for over 30 years. This poor guy, I'm sure this radio station was his life and he gets let go due to old age, isn't that "ageism"? Join me next week when we celebrate Michael Campion's (Jackson Fuller, Fuller House)'s Birthday with Fuller House S4E8: Driving Mr. Jackson, which aired on December 14, 2018. In this episode Jackson and Ramona's first high school party has major consequences, when Jackson got drunk. Becky and Jesse team up to host an awards show, where a big win goes to Matt's head. *Turn the tables episode* This week sees a slight change in your regular programming as I vacate my usual role as host, and take on the role of guest. Historically, there have been other opportunities to record this type of episode but it never felt quite right. However, when an old friend of mine Jason Mountford got in touch to say he'd love to catch up and have me appear on his Spotify UK Top 20 Business podcast called The Hedge, previously known as The UK Money Podcast, I was very happy to oblige and accepted the invitation without hesitation. I think Jason did a wonderful job of probing the right areas for conversation, and I thank him for deeming my inner game, worthy of further exploration.Let me know what you think of the gear change, but either way Playing The Inner Game will be back to its regular format later in December, where I'll be bringing you more incredible entrepreneurial and inspirational guests that we can all learn from. In this weeks episode I caught up with Michael Campion, Managing Director of Four Fox Saké and host of the successful podcast, Playing the Inner Game. Michael has had an incredibly interesting career so far and embodies the concept of how having a strong personal brand and following your curiosity and gut feel can open doors. The conversation could have been 3 times as long, and there is a lot of Michael's story we didn't get a chance to fit in. Even so, there is so much to take from this episode that can be applied to your own business, career and life.Get your free copy of Modern Investing Fundamentals at thehedge.ioIf you'd like a BONUS monthly podcast episode and to support the show, you can do that here. Interview: I am joined by actor Michael Campion. Michael recently starred as Jackson Fuller for five seasons on the hit Netflix series, Fuller House. We dove into Michaels's early love of theater which included appearances in The Wizard of Oz and Annie. Michael and I shared our love for Disney World. We took a stroll through Michael's career touching not only on Fuller House but Red Ruby, Christmas Trade, and the Robo-dog series. Michael is a budding young Hollywood actor and not only shares some awesome stories (including how he originally did NOT land the role of Jackson Fuller) but some amazing words of advice for those looking to enter acting as a career. Happy Full House Friday Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, in honor of Michael Campion's(Jackson Fuller) Birthday (July 26), I decided to cover Fuller House S1E6: The Legend of Explosivo, which aired on February 26, 2016. In this episode DJ punishes Jackson after catching him in the act of performing a dangerous stunt over (having been influenced by the wrestling stunts of Lucha Kaboom)at Bobby Popko's house, causing him to miss his favorite Mexican wrestling league, Lucha Kaboom (which Stephanie who's DJing at the event has tickets for the whole family). However, DJ grounds Jackson, but unbeknownst to her he concocts a plan with the help of his friend Bobby Popko to sneak down and see the wrestling event. Ramona has her own problems when it comes to Kimmy interfering with her dance team routine and she puts her on snack/chauffeur duty. Luckily for the girls, Kimmy is able to come to the rescue when the time comes for their routine they are left them one girl short. I enjoyed this episode, it was very entertaining and a lot of fun. Also I actually forgot how young Michael Campion looked and sounded in Season 1 since I've been covering episodes lately from the later Seasons of the show. Join me in August when I cover two episodes for the Sisters Double Feature: Full House S1E13: Sisterly Love, which aired on January 8, 1988. In this episode Stephanie is chosen for the part in a TV commercial for which D.J. was auditioning. and also Full House S5E3: Take My Sister, Please, which aired on October 1, 1991. In this episode DJ lobbies for her own bedroom, but Michelle is reluctant to share a room with Stephanie, who is depressed because nobody wants her as a roommate. Have a great weekend and I'll see you in August! To EMAIL The Podcast Go To: omhcfhfhpodcast@gmail.com

Happy Full House Friday Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, in honor of Lori Loughlin's (Aunt Becky) Birthday, I decided to cover Full House S8E21: Leap Of Faith which aired on March 21, 1995. In this episode Jesse tries to stop Rebecca from bungee jumping--but thinks it's okay if he takes risks. Michelle cons her dad into letting her go to a rock concert. I enjoyed this episode, but both Jesse's only men can be adventurous and take risks but not women attitude towards Becky and Danny who thinks it's a great idea to let a 9 year old go to a Counting Crows Concert which is totally bonkers. this got on my nerves. I mean, she constantly gets the band's name wrong and clearly this will be a concert where everyone is standing up and Michelle being a kid won't even be able to see the stage let alone the band performing. Join me next week when I cover Fuller House S1E6: The Legend of El Explosivo, which aired on February 26, 2016 in honor of Michael Campion's (Jackson Fuller) Birthday. In this episode DJ punishes Jackson, causing him to miss his favorite Mexican wrestling league, Lucha Kaboom. But that only leads to more action for the fans. I hope you all have a great and safe holiday weekend! To EMAIL The Podcast Go To: omhcfhfhpodcast@gmail.com

Happy Full House Friday Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I covered the final episode in the "Reunion" series, with Fuller House S2E11: DJ and Kimmy's High School Reunion, which aired on December 9. 2016. In this episode a high school reunion leaves DJ wondering whether she still has feelings for Steve, while a hapless Kimmy is trending for all the wrong reasons. I enjoyed this episode, but Michael Campion's (Jackson Fuller)acting in the scene where Stephanie tries to talk to him in his bedroom and he's tearing up or trying and failing to cry it just feels like those scenes that require him to be upset or portray a strong emotion is difficult for him, we're so used to seeing him play a not taken seriously goof and Lola obsessed. Also the surprise cameos, Kathi Santoni (YAY!), Duane (Kimmy's ex-boyfriend from Full House Season 8) (YAY!), Nelson and Viper (BOO!) we could have done without this two they were too cornball and way out of place (DJ even asks Viper , "What are you even doing here, you didn't go to my high school). Apparently, he's now a sad sack who's just wasted at the time who works at Foot Locker. Nelson (not played by Jason Marsden BTW instead played by Hal Sparks) is ridiculous and just brags to DJ about how much money he still has, multiple homes and a jet, WHO CARES! Thankfully Steve comes to rescue her and they dance to "Everything I Do" (I'd Do It For You)from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, they even have a special dance they do to this song as they belt out the lyrics (If you remember them crooning to their other favorite movie song "Unchained Melody" from Ghost in Fuller House Season 1, Save The Dates, this one isn't much different than that, just add the dancing. Join me in late July when I celebrate two Full House and Fuller House Cast Member Birthdays with episode dedications, for Lori Loughlin's (Aunt Becky)Birthday, Full House S8E21: Leap Of Faith, which aired on March 21, 1995. Hey Tanner, Fuller, Gibbler Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, in honor of Michael Campion's (Jackson Fuller) Birthday, I decided to cover Fuller House S2E2: Mom Interference, which aired on December 9,2016. In this episode DJ and Jackson struggle over whether or not he should play football and what his reasons for wanting to play really may be. Then things get a little awkward when Steve and Matt bring "guests" and a "slightly older" date for DJ to game night at the Tanner-Fuller house. And Stephanie has to decide if she has feelings for a Gibbler! I had so much fun covering this episode and hope you all enjoy it too! Fernando using his plate Bacon Wrapped Bacon on a bed of Bacon to entice Max to break his vegetarian rule. I love how Max feeds a piece of bacon to Cosmo and has him lick his face and then Max calls it second hand bacon. Ha, Ha! Jackson getting on the football team really makes me wonder if kids need parents permission to even try out for a team cause if not that sounds like a liability if they get hurt during tryouts. I loved Steph and Jimmy together. They're so cute. The late Alan Thicke as "Mike, here" was hilarious. I loved how Kimmy interrogated Lola about Jackson. Tommy's first haircut. AWWW!!! Join me next week for a random Full House episode, S5E20: Driving Miss DJ, which aired on February 25, 1992. in this episode Newly permitted D.J. is eager to get behind the wheel, but she must first go out with a licensed driver, and unfortunately, Danny and Jesse prove to be rigid teachers. Meanwhile, Stephanie delights in torturing an annoying Michelle. I had been waiting to get to this episode since last year and now feels like a great time. Join me on July 28, for the final cast member birthday dedication episode in this birthday series Lori Loughlin, in Full House S8E13: The Producer, which aired on January 10, 1995. In this episode Danny feels humiliated and quits when Rebecca is promoted to producer of the show If you would like to EMAIL The Podcast: omhcfhfhpodcast@gmail.com Have a great weekend everyone!

Hey Tanner, Fuller, Gibbler Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today in honor of Juan Pablo Di Pace's Birthday ( actual birthday on July 25) (Fernando) I decided to cover Fuller House S4E9: Perfect Sons, which aired on December 14, 2018. Fernando's mother pays a surprise visit, so he presents that he Kimberly live here, have a baby and have D.J as her maid and Steve teaches Jackson how to drive. Max makes a memorable debut on "Wake Up San Francisco" when he got a B. I really had a fun time covering this episode. I haven't watched it since it originally aired and forgot just how hilarious it was. So many things going on in this episode, Max getting his first B and being heckled by his classmate Spencer during his debut on the Kiddie Korner Segment on Wake Up San Francisco, Jackson being taught how to drive by Steve even though we don't get to see any driving. Fernando's mother drops in for a surprise visit causing Fernando to come up with the lie of all lies saying he lives there in DJ's house while DJ is the maid. But I think worst of all is Kimmy lying and saying that the baby she's carrying is Fernando's and not Stephanie and Jimmy's. I love how Matt comes to help Steve and Jackson out when Steve's car breaks down, but it turns out Steve is able to fix it by diagnosing the problem like it's a foot issue with his podiatry. Then they make steaks on the engine. DJ and Danny tell Max it's ok to not be perfect all the time and to ease up on himself, this coming from the two biggest perfections in the Tannerverse. I hope you enjoy the episode and come back next week when I covern Fuller House S2E2: Mom Interference, which aired on December 9, 2016 for Michael Campion's Birthday (Jackson Fuller). In this episode It's a full house for game night when Steve and Matt bring uninvited guests. Jackson decides to join the football team. Have a great weekend everyone.
