Save The Date hosts Heath and Jamie dive deep into the real work of intimacy—being vulnerable, authentic, and willing to let love in. They share personal stories, challenge cultural norms around emotional expression, and explore how forgiveness and self-awareness can break down barriers. If you've ever struggled to open up or trust again, this episode will meet you right where you are.
For your season 6 bonus episode, Chelsea and Madison have dusted off their English degrees and learned how to read (again) to discuss Allison Raskin's debut novel, Save the Date. After Emma's fiancé unexpectedly calls off the engagement, months before the wedding, Emma is left high and dry with a stack of non-refundable wedding deposits. Solution? Save her wedding date and find a new groom! This is certainly not your average rom-com and Madison and Chelsea discuss how it defies tropes and expectations, while still ticking all of the necessary genre boxes. General consensus on the book? It should be made into a movie and Emma's parents must be played by Mandy Patinkin and Kathryn Grody.Digressions include the oppressive heat, Chelsea's weird foot tan line, and so much more.Connect With UsFollow us on Instagram @loveatfirstscreening or send an email to loveatfirstscreening@gmail.comProduction Hosts: Chelsea Ciccone and Madison HillMusic: Good StephArtwork: Chelsea CicconeSocial Media: Marissa CicconeAbout the ShowAn examination of classic tropes and iconic characters pits connoisseur against cynic—one romantic comedy at a time. The cinematic world of love and laughter had rom-com enthusiast Madison head over heels from the time Harry met Sally. For genre skeptic Chelsea, however, it's been a grueling enemies-to-lovers plot. In Love at First Screening, Madison introduces Chelsea to all the fan-favorite love stories she's never wanted to watch. One friend's passion might be the other's displeasure, but doesn't love conquer all? Tune in every Wednesday to find out.

So, you sent a Save the Date... and now you want to uninvite them? Oof. That’s not just bold - that’s a social plot twist! Sure, it’s technically not a contract. But let’s be honest: once that card hits their fridge, it’s real. You told them, “You’re in.” Now you’re pulling a disappearing act? Yikes. Look, we get it. Life changes. Budgets shrink. People show their true colors. But if you’re thinking about snatching that invite back—just know: it’s messy, it’s awkward, and yeah, it might spark drama. If you have to do it? Be grown. Pick up the phone. Say what’s up. Don’t ghost. Don’t sugarcoat. Do. It. Right.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In this episode of Save The Date, Heath and Jamie unpack the emotional layers of rejection in dating and relationships. From personal stories to modern dynamics, they explore how rejection feels, how it shapes us, and why a little “delusional confidence” might actually be part of the process. They dig into how self-acceptance softens the blow, why rejection doesn't define your worth, and how to turn tough moments into tools for growth. With equal parts insight and encouragement, this conversation reminds us that rejection isn't failure—it's feedback, and it's a shared human experience. Sometimes all you need is perspective—and a friend who'll remind you who you are.
Everybody says they want vulnerability—until it's time to get real. On this episode, Heath and Jamie unpack what true vulnerability looks like, starting with getting honest with yourself first. They break down the difference between authentic vulnerability and oversharing, why feeling safe matters, and how getting emotionally naked can seriously level-up your intimacy game. Real vulnerability doesn't mean losing yourself—it means finding deeper connections through honest storytelling and genuine openness. So, stop data-dumping and start connecting. Your love life will thank you.

Kindness is underrated in dating—but it might just be your real superpower. In this episode, Heath and Jamie get into why kindness (over niceness), and how being genuinely considerate, emotionally aware, and graceful—even in conflict—can change the entire vibe of your relationships. They unpack how kindness isn't about being passive or soft, but about showing up with intention, dignity, and the kind of energy that makes people remember you—even if it doesn't lead to love. Because real kindness? It hits in casual flings and serious things. And it always starts with how you treat yourself.

Lured Up Podcast 336 Record Date - 2/12/25 Publish Date - 2/14/25 Happy Valentine's Day! We love all of you for the incredible support you have given us over the years! We hope you have an awesome day! Plenty to recap this week as we are coming out of the Strong Yet Small event, Community Day weekend, and the start of the Beloved Buddies. With what seems less like filler events, this last week has brought us new Pokémon, Shinies, and move sets. The calendar doesn't show any signs of slowing down, as this weekend brings us Hoopa Unbound Raid Day. We put together a little Raid Guide and Battle Party for Hoopa and encourage all Trainers to prepare 1 or 2 Battle Parties in advance. With the ability to dui, you will want to make sure you maximize your time in the Raid to get the highest damage output possible. It's not often that Bug Pokémon take the stage, but Hoopa will be taking double super effective damage from them this weekend! The latest Save the Date blog has the community talking as it is becoming harder and harder to maintain a healthy game-life balance. Should it be left to Niantic to manage our priorities, or does the onus fall on the Trainer to decide how they spend their time. It's a great topic and one that we feel will continue to be a part of the zeitgeist for the foreseeable future. This month is still packed with events as we have Scattered To The Winds, the Road to Unova, and of course Unova Tour IRL and GLobal closing out the month. Is it even possible for the average Trainer to keep up with the schedule, or should they not even be concerned with playing every event? The FOMO is real, and it may be time for many Trainers to make decisions about their priorities. In closing we briefly discuss Fuecoco COmmunity Day which will be the first of the next season. GO Tour: Unova will feature some Notable Trainers that you can meet and hang out with. Finally, a unique partnership between PGO and Major League Baseball will have baseball fans whipping their phones out at Stadiums across the United States. Keep Training, Trainers! We all have dates in our lives that are etched in our memories forever -- whether it's for better or for worse. And when it comes to the grief, sorrow, and pain that some of those more difficult days hold, it's especially important for us to remember that it's still a day that the Lord's made, and therefore, that we can rejoice in it. When we're tempted to allow Satan to rule over those tough dates, let's remember the Spirit that God's given us -- and then let's take back those dates and give them to the Lord!
