Leeds-based Italian-born artist Stella Wembley began her musical career in Italy as a soprano while studying opera at the Royal Conservatory of Music "San Pietro a Majella" in Naples. Upon graduating, she found limited opportunities on the Italian music scene, she moved to London in 2017, where she found inspiration and avenues as a musician, performing at venues in Leeds, Blackpool and London. She is a vocalist, lyricist, composer, music producer and video director. She released her 'Wasting My Time' EP, a four-track release of sheer electro-goth delight surrounding the track 'Wasting My Time'. The loop- and arpeggio-driven synth backdrop feeds a retro new-wave vibe, and the catchy chorus underlines multiple conflicting sensations from dark melancholy to fiery self-expression, while exploring the esoteric and mystical and ultimately death, rebirth and destiny. Wembley has collaborated and performed with Lloyd Price (The Frixion), Auger, Inkubus Sukkubus, Zeitgeist Zero, Last July, Rome Burns and Machine Rox. Stella is currently working on her new album "The Alchemy of the Dark Arts'," which will feature Michael Ciravolo (a.k.a. Beauty In Chaos) on guitar.https://stellawembley.comQUEEN OF WANDS with DJ NOCTURNAEvery Saturday on ModSnap Radio | KMOD: San Antonio3pm (HST), 5pm (PST), 6pm (MST), 7pm (CST), 8pm (EST)THANK YOU for your continued support.Follow me on my other social media sites :Website: https://djnocturna.comRadio: : https://modsnapradio.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/nocturna.remixed/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/djnocturna/Twitter: https://twitter.com/djnocturnaTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@dj.nocturna
This week on the show, Desmond and Duane make the right choice by not watching all of the Children of the Corn films. Instead they make the still questionable choice to watch the original 1984 film and then the brand new remake. Before all that, Desmond talks a little bit about the original adaptation of Stephen King's short story, the 1983 short film Disciples of the Crow. Songs included: "Disciple" by Slayer, "Cornucopia: The Milk of Amalthea" by FEASTofFETUS, "Corn King (Wicca Man Mix)" by Inkubus Sukkubus, and "John Barleycorn" by Winterfylleth. The show that talks about you on purpose is back for more shenanigans! This time around, we're talking about something called "Lady Volcano", the latest album from Spanish doom metal outfit Golgotha, the lack of Dune-related conversations in the mainstream, the music of a talented UK DJ called Nite Fleit, goth music legends Inkubus Sukkubus and Myrkur, and a whole bunch of other stuff that you dear listeners are discussing on our blog. It's a lot of fun, so give it a listen! Or don't. You're gonna do what you want regardless of our wishes, but we sure would appreciate it if you would take a few minutes out of your day to join us as we open up TRAPPO's Mail Bag once again! There's a conversation going on right now, and we want you to be a part of it! Just journey over to our official TRAPPO blog and leave a comment on the post of your choosing! Tell us what you think of our latest episode, what you think of our earlier episodes, or just tell us what you'd like to hear us discuss in future episodes of the show! This episode of The Folklore Podcast is the second part of our examination of the folklore surrounding sleep paralysis and Old Hag phenomena. This time we focus in on some aspects of the folklore relating to the witch trials, to the sexual aspects of the incubus and succubus demonic motifs ... and a look at the role of cheese in nightmares! Following on from this, we are proud to present a special guest interview with pagan rock band Inkubus Sukkubus, who draw their name from this lore and who use much folklore in their songwriting.
