**Celebrating the launch of Liberating Love - follow @liberating_love on instagram for some game changing relationship content** I loved this free-flowing conversation with Jack. He's a deep thinker with a lot of wisdom and clearly embodies the work that he does in the world. Jack is a facilitator, guide and mens mentor, his belief is that at our core we hold an innate wisdom, an ability to know ourselves deeply and truely. This Self energy is when we are most in alignment, from this space there is a real sense of magic and wonder that can happen. Through the use of internal family systems, nervous system regulation and some trust in the mystery of life he works to support men in finding a place where they are themselves and simply comfortable with that. Some of the themes discussed in this conversation: How “the provider” get activated when we become fathers and the impact this can have if we're not aware of it. The importance of learning how to create safety. The culture of “needing to be better/fix ourselves” the self development world can can create. Common hurdles new dads can face. The number one thing required to deepen and maintain your relationship after kids. Have you tried all the big wellness modalities, but still find yourself going back to the same old habits and thought patterns? If external methods like yoga, ayahuasca retreats and meditation only do so much for you, maybe it's time to consider that the true path to healing can actually be found within yourself.Joining Nick on this episode of The Betar Project is Jack May, a men's health coach and founder of Wildmen Wellness. Like many of us, Jack went through a series of unfulfilling jobs and relationships before finally starting to question why he was living a life out of fear. When we don't feel safe, we're unable to ask ourselves the deep questions to find our authentic selves. The brain develops neural pathways in early childhood to protect us from rejection and abandonment, but it can stay stuck in survival mode as we get older, inhibiting our ability to understand and trust in our own innate wisdom.Jack experienced this throughout his life, and he's sharing the three steps he follows to cope with his inner critic. By teaching others to use compassion to integrate the broken parts of themselves, he believes we can stop judging ourselves and start to heal in a safe space of vulnerability and curious awareness. You'll also hear Jack's thoughts on how to find safety in the body and why the world needs more time to respond instead of react. Tune in to learn all this and more!Topics discussed in this episode:Jack shares what he's grateful for todayHow Jack's early life led to a crisis of developmentFeeling safe in the world and within yourselfHow Nick changed his perspective on anxietyQuestions we should ask ourselves in support of curiosityCreating space to feel love and be compassionateCurious awareness is the first step to growthJack's mission to help other men feel safeHow to create a safe space for other peopleThe brain reacting to not feeling safeCan you rewire synapses in the brain to change survival responses?Healing the bad parts of you instead of getting rid of themFear of death and lack of eldership in Western cultureWhat should men's work focus on?Meeting your goals vs. amplifying your inner criticBeing present for your childrenJack answers this week's guest questionFollow Jack:WebsiteInstagramTo listen to more episodes, head to Apple Podcasts here!Support the showConnect with Nick:Instagram TikTok YouTube

The Family [by John Elliot] As solicitor David Eccleston arrives at his client's (Mr. Watson) lodgings, he is met by a Detective Sergeant who gives him a letter from Watson that he feels he should read before he sees him. The letter is about something peculiar that has happened to him. It concerns a young women by the name of Carol Temple that he met late one night around 1:00 a.m. in front of the boarding house where he lived. She had no home, no parents, no relations so he invited her up to his flat to get out of the cold and have something to eat. He allowed her to stay the night though with no plans to take advantage of the situation... but he did. She left the next day under friendly terms and he didn't see her for three months until, one day, he arrived home late from a job and there she was. She tells him that she is pregnant. Whether it is his child or not he wants her to stay - he will take care of her - but she protests telling him that he must first hear her story... The show this week kicks off with a chat about one of the most controversial characters in the pro wrestling business, New Jack, who passed away suddenly a couple days after last weeks show. Whether you loved or hated the man, one thing is for sure, he was a polarizing figure. We then turn our attention to the fact that May 19th is a very important day in pro wrestling history. Everything from Andre the Giant being born to the Curtain Call happened on this day. It should be a pro wrestling holiday. We round it out with several news stories and a review of all things wrestling that we consumed over the past seven days. Enjoy!

The Exalto Experience hosted by Jordan Potts, the Founder and Owner of Exalto Holistic Hub. Episode 12 is a conversation with an amazing man, that man is Jack May. Jack and Jordan met through RealMVMT and have had nothing but incredible conversations and share an energy of personal growth and striving to be their best selves. This energy has led Jack down a path of evolution in his 33 years on earth. The journey from a young boy growing up playing sport, getting a trade and coming full circle to the realisations of what truly makes him happy. Jack is doing incredible work with men and helping them understand what it means to be human and the potential we all have to be loving, strong, passionate leaders within our communities. This conversation is very much so a death to the standard Aussie identity of sinking piss and shit talking ya mates as a form of stress release. If Jack's message at all inspires you or you wish to connect with him you'll find him on Instagram @jakmay87 and the work he's doing with @themankindproject. As always, we are grateful for you investing your time to listen to another episode of the Exalto Experience. If there is anyone that you believe would benefit from listening to this conversation please share, as you can help so much by simply doing that small gesture. Much love, thank you.
