Happy Halloween, Dreadites! As always, we've got a killer episode for you to hunker down and avoid the sugar-crazed ghouls lurking your neighborhood this week. First up, one of our oldest friends, Greg Lamberson, is back to chat about what he's got going on, namely The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival; Blu-ray releases of Killer Rack, Slime City, and Slime City Massacre; and the film that's been more than three decades in the making: Johnny Gruesome. Then, Rich the Monster Movie Kid reviews the brand new anthology film Tales of Halloween. Finally, it's been four years since Duane and Desmond discussed all of The Simpsons "Treehouse of Horror" episodes to date. So, they decided to finish them off, including the brand new 600th episode and the first non-"Treehouse of Horror" episode of the show that deals with Halloween. It's a blast. And every Halloween party needs music: "Ritual" by Ghost, "Gruesome" by Gruesome, "Tales of Halloween" by Jimmy Psycho, "Grownup Halloween" by the cast of The Simpsons, and "Halloween" by Mastodon. We love Slime City. So when we heard about Buffalo director Greg Lamberson's next project, Killer Rack, we were thrilled. On this week's podcast, we had a chance to chat with Greg, co-star/writer Paul McGinnis, star Jessica Zwolak and co-star Michael Thurber about their work on the movie, dubbed by one wag, "the wrongest film in the history of wrongness." If that's wrong, well...we don't wanna be right. This horror comedy is about a woman with low self esteem who opts for breast enhancement surgery, unaware that her surgeon, Dr. Thulu, worships H.P. Lovecraft's elder gods, and the surgery is part of a diabolical plot to rule the world. We talk about how the film came about, the involvement of Troma boss Lloyd Kaufman, Buffalo locales, casting, the effects, the film's incredible music, scream queen Debbie Rochon and much much more.

Prepare for boobs. Yeah, you read that right. Greg Lamberson, the hardest working man in horror, stops by to pimp his new Kickstarter campaign for the upcoming horror comedy Killer Rack. He also has a ton of news about his fiction work, other directorial duties, and possible adaptations of them! But really, boobs! Then Luke and Desmond take a look at one of the more obscure Full Moon Horror films: Lurking Fear. Send feedback in this week to be entered to win an ebook of How the West Was Weird, volume 3 which features a story from yours truly, as well as several others. Check out Greg's Kickstarter here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gregorylamberson/killer-rack. But don't forget a Kickstarter for another upcoming anthology with one of Desmond's stories in it, the Lovecraft / fairy tale mash-up A Mythos Grimmly: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jerhoc/a-mythos-grimmly-a-lovecraftian-fairy-tale-mash-up. There's music on top of all this self-promotion, too! "Elizabeth" by Ghost, "Dangertits" by Brendon Small, "Birthright" by Samhain, and "Hang Em High" by Ghoultown.
