For this week's episode, I discuss some of the cultural dilemmas of our day, and whether American citizens are choosing to wake up to reality, or pretending to remain asleep to the issues in our nation. Extending from the African proverb, "It is easier to wake a sleeping person, than a person pretending to be asleep." I discuss how instead of looking at the world with the intent to discover truth, our society is now becoming complacent and adhering to carefully depicted narratives. With future generations now brought into this mindset, how do we then break free from narrative and begin to see the truth and face reality. ______________________________________________________________ Connect with Restitch America! In Restitch America Podcast episode 10, we get to know Christie Hutcherson, the Founder of Women Fighting for America LLC (WFFA). She has been fighting on the border for over 2 years bringing truth around the national security threat while exposing the activity of the cartels, protecting the lives of those being trafficked, and bringing awareness to the fentanyl crisis. Christie is dedicated to being a voice of truth for the American people to save the soul of our Nation, and leading by example in extending a hand to those who seek a better life in the United States of America. *Disclaimer: During the discussion, there are a few seconds of footage where witness testimony is given about the shocking nature of treatment towards women and children that may be sensitive to viewers. In this episode, we are hosting our first guest on the Restitch America channel and podcast. Our guest today is named Ahmed. He is a first generation American currently working as an RN. He started into politics and leftism after volunteering for the VA, and witnessing all the men and women seemingly discarded following their military service. The treatment of servicemen and workers at the bottom working hard and receiving very little in return, sparked a fire within him. Ahmed's first introduction to politics came from an introduction to American imperialism in school, which encouraged his own personal deep dive into the subject, forming the educational base for his ideology. The many workers movements during Covid also played a huge role in energizing his voice. Ahmed's goal is to spread the message of how we can instill more dignity and human decency within the working class. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/restitch-america/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/restitch-america/support
