Meet Linda Roggli, ADHD Women's Only Coaching Legend….Linda  is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), award-winning author and founder of the A-D-Diva Network for ADHD women 40-and-better. She is an internationally-recognized expert in midlife and senior ADHD.In this episode we cover all things ADHD and late diagnosis in Women….and delve deep into the connection to hormonal changes and ADHD symptoms. Linda has been out there shouting about and supporting women with ADHD for almost 20 years , well before the world started to recognise it. So she has A LOT of knowledge and experience on these topics.Linda has an infectious energy and just like me can see that once treated,  ADHD is something we no longer have to be ashamed of and can very much be embraced as an asset despite the challenges it brings.  I took a lot of inspiration away from this chat with Linda, more evidence that  following what is meaningful to us is where we really see ADHDers shine, Hormones changes for ADHD women can be more intense and extreme than those without, treatment for your hormones,  mental health and hormones fluctuations is unique for everyone and most importantly this conversation reminded me that it's our differences that really give us that spark and to hide that from the world would be a real disservice. Linda A-D-Diva energy was infectious, this episode will not only educate and support you, it will completely inspire and motivate you to keep stepping forward with self belief that you have got this!!!

Discussing the hormonal fluctuation's impact on ADHD and women is one of the most important episodes I have recorded on the Proudly ADHD Podcast.  Conversations on this topic need to continue and be amplified.    I truly believe so many women diagnosed with ADHD suffer in silence from the negative impacts of, Puberty, Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), PMS (premenstrual syndrome), Perimenopause, and Menopause. As these hormonal changes hugely impact and amplify the negative traits of ADHD. In this episode, my special guest Linda Roggli gives us a view into hormones and what happens with our ADHD.   We also share our personal experiences and measures we have taken to manage the impact.   We hope that you find this episode useful and please do share and increase awareness of hormones and ADHD.   ***** More about Lind Roggli Linda Roggli is the creator of the ADHD Palooza series, a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), an award-winning author, and founder of the A-D-Diva Network for ADHD women 40-and-better. Elizabeth was diagnosed in 4th grade at age 9, and she's my first guest who was diagnosed in childhood. That said, her experience as an adult is similar to many of the other women I've interviewed because the diagnosis did not mean much and was kind of forgotten until she reached her 30s, and especially later when she became a mother.  We talk a lot about motherhood and how much women with ADHD struggle through the baby and toddler years and why that is — from the overwhelming responsibilities and lack of structure to the sheer noise and chaos of those little creatures. While the patterns and outcomes of a life with ADHD between men and women are similar — particularly as they age — the underlying reasons and conditions for diagnosis for women are unique.  This week on the show, founders of ADHD Women’s Palooza, Terry Matlen and Linda Roggli, join us to share their experience working with adult women with ADHD. The Women’s Palooza pulls women together from around the world to serve as resources for one another; therapists, coaches, educators, and physicians. So she set out to simplify this exceedingly complex topic and voila! She made friends with three amazing neurotransmitter stand-ins: Nora Penne Effrin (aka norepinephrine), Sarah Tonin (aka serotonin), and Dope A. Mean (aka dopamine). These three low-voltage characters made life much easier for both Linda and her clients, and they might help you understand (and pronounce) these bad boys, too.
