This week we TRIPLE DOWN on the nostalgia as I present a rare Pre-COVID episode I recorded over a few beers with my old pal Travis Tips, as we discuss the franchise-less / non-Oscar-bait films in good ol' JC's filmography. The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Denver Broncos 22-16 in a game many fans found extremely frustrating. It is a mark of just how good the Chiefs have become that we fans get annoyed by only beating the Broncos by six points. That was a weird game. Truth be told, I never got too worried. The Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes and the other guys don't. I never believed Drew Lock could out-gun Patrick Mahomes. Still, there were some untimely penalties, nears misses and the Chiefs also scored a touchdown that nobody knew was actually a touchdown until it was too late. The Chiefs won anyway like they always seem to do. Why? Because the Chiefs are great. Kansas City has lost one game in the last calendar year! The team is 11-1, has clinched a playoff spot, and has all but clinched another AFC West title. So it is ok to be annoyed when the team doesn't play up to their own incredibly high standards. Just make sure to take a deep breath and have a little perspective. This week on the Arrowhead Addict podcast, Matt Verderame and myself break down the Chiefs' 11th victory of the season. We also discover from one of our listeners that there is a place in Iowa that puts Chinese food on pizza and we are very intrigued. All that and more. Dive in! Please make sure you are subscribed to the Arrowhead Addict podcast so you don't miss any of the fun. We also do fairly frequent giveaways so you want to make sure you get in on that. Lastly, it would mean a lot to us if you would head on over to Apple Podcasts to leave us a written review. If you ask a Chiefs or food-related question at the end of your review, we will answer it on the podcast. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Let me be upfront & honest...I have never gone Ice Fishing in my life. But Ice Fishing and open water fishing is a very important industry in the Iowa Great Lakes. The year 2020 has been with us for approximately 57 years now. Experts are still at odds on the specific amount of time it's been. But we're still here, and we're back this episode to tell youwhat we've been playing and watching in the absolute hellscape of 2020, and also to dish about the Fallout TV show that may be filmed if there's ever a time when it's safe to be around people again. Plus Travis mentioned Daveed Diggs and how amazing his hip-hop group was, but couldn't remember the name. The group is called Clipping: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clipping_(band)
It's been an emotional weekend as The Captain informed the RWT group that personal issues have prompted him to retire. We refuse to let the show go out like that, and we refuse to let The Captain give up what he loves. Mike Larkin, Moses Marquez and Travis Anderson come together along with The Demoness to deliver what could be the final episode on The Captain's behalf. Beginning with a statement, the team predict NXT Takeover: In Your House as well as more wrestling news from this week. Plus Travis assembles friends from far and near to call out for The Captain's return.

PLUS Travis battles Brittney Savage in the Promo League, and Moses has a message for Mike Larkin!
The Undertaker and The Big Show vie to be the Last Man Standing on this week's Talking Taker! Join wrestling superfans Alex Doriot and Travis White on their journey through every Undertaker PPV match as they cover the second in a 2008 trilogy between Taker and Show in a match the WWE Universe voted for at Cyber Sunday. The rivalry between The Phenom and The Giant just isn't quite catching on, and we theorize (with the help of some more movie analogies, of course) just why exactly that is. There's still plenty of fun to be had here, though, as we discuss things like Knockout Matches, Great Khali's face turn, Vladimir Koslov's complete lack of charisma, cameos from Joey Ryan and Matt Jackson, prizomos fizor Kizarny, a fun Undertaker and Triple H match, the incredible effort put into the Cyber Sunday set, the complete lack of effort put into the Cyber Sunday concept, the return of That Deadly Submission, JR's flubby-dubs, and much more. Plus Travis resurrects a classic segment - The Vince Russo Bro-ment Of The Week! Download, enjoy, and Taker Easy! Be sure to listen to our special Watch-Along with The Bottom Line Wrestling Cast as we cover The Undertaker vs. Chris Benoit as well as Stone Cold vs. The Rock vs. Kurt Angle vs. Rikishi at Rebellion 2000! It's Taker's way or the highway as we cover an all-time classic on this week's Talking Taker! Join wrestling superfans Alex Doriot and Travis White on their journey through every Undertaker PPV match as they cover the epic WrestleMania 17 (or X7 or XVII or X-Seven) encounter between The Dead Man and Triple H. It's a truly memorable affair at arguably the greatest WWF show ever. It's got an incredible build-up as well that's full of intense promos and blood-soaked angles. Of course we still manage to find plenty of silliness and ridiculous stuff to laugh at as we cover Undertaker's abundance of dad jokes, Mike Chioda's incredible napping skills, Stephanie McMahon-equin, sledgehammer silliness, JR's word of the day, the debut of Paul Heyman, Motorhead rocking our faces off, the disappearance of Hak-Ishi and maybe the most disturbing "Bro"ment of the Week yet! The Undertaker makes Rikishi famous! Join wrestling superfans Alex Doriot and Travis White on their journey through every Undertaker PPV match as they cover a wild and crazy 6 Man Hell In A Cell at Armageddon 2000. The Dead Man tries to wrestle the WWF Championship away from Kurt Angle but he's also gotta deal with The Rock, Stone Cold, Triple H, and The Big Brown Machine. It's a match with a classic spot and it forces us to bust out the patented Talking Taker Blood Tracker. But it never really comes together, and we try to analyze why. Before we get there we're also talking about the long-awaited arrival of Limp Bizkit, some memorable promos leading up to the match including a classic from The Rock, the writing team change behind the scenes that shook things up going forward, Taker debuting yet another new catchphrase and nickname, Vince McMahon's Alabama hayride, "Dirty" Dean Malenko's torrid tryst, and so much more. We're going triple wide and triple deep as we break down Breakdown: In Your House on episode 50 of Talking Taker! Join wrestling superfans Alex Doriot and Travis White on their journey through every Undertaker PPV match as they tell the story of Undertaker's first ever triple threat match facing off against Kane and Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWF Championship. Of course it's a bit different than a typical triple threat as due to Mr. McMahon's stipulation Undertaker can't pin Kane and Kane can't pin Undertaker - but doesn't this actually benefit Stone Cold? We discuss the flawed logic of the match and the unsatisfying psychology on display as we review the match. Plus we recap another fun month of build up including Mr. McMahon's brutal language, The Brothers of Destruction's first ever tag team match and their pitiful opponents, Regis and Kathie Lee, sledgehammer wars with Mankind, the M.I.A. Paul Bearer, Stone Cold's surprising new tag team partner, the Undertaker's new fashion accessory, and the continued evolution of The Dead Man as he slowly loses his concsience to pursue his new business interests. Plus Travis shares his special connection with this PPV and we reveal the exclusive answer Vince Russo gave us to one of our most looming questions from the past! Download, enjoy, and Taker Easy! Sooooo...you could say the Indians took care of business on Wednesday night. But 24 hours earlier—you know, back when they weren't putting up 19 runs—a lackluster start to the 9th inning by closer Cody Allen, a miscommunication between manager Terry Francona and pitching coach Carl Willis, and a bad matchup for reliever Dan Otero turned a fine night at the ballpark into downright ugly loss, bringing out the boo birds at Progressive Field. It was called the nadir of the season for the team's beleaguered bullpen, and aggravation is mounting amongst the Tribe faithful. A talented-but-flawed Indians roster continues to trudge through the season in first place in the AL Central, but clearly is a step behind the rest of the league's top teams. What is the Tribe front office waiting for? The guys discuss that, as well as Travis' adventures at the AAA Home Run Derby in Columbus on Monday night. ….
