Bran and company have to decide where to next. They are safe for now, but Bran is in danger of losing himself to warging with Summer and Jojen doesn't feel he can teach everything that Bran needs to learn. North is the answer. Simon and Mackelly get out the snow shoes.Chapter Review:Bran Stark, in the mind of Summer, is enjoying being the prince of the Wolfswood. His smaller wolf cousins respect him and his potential prey fear him. He hunts, he fights, he runs. All the things that Bran the boy cannot do. Sooner than he'd like, Hodor calls him back to himself.Bran neglected to do the things that Jojen suggested, basic and simple attempts to do things that Summer wouldn't do by himself. Bran is not learning to control the direwolf as he needs to. Meera provides dinner which they eat in the safety of the Tumbledown Tower north of Winterfell. They discuss the next actions. They're safe and have food, but Jojen is worried that without a true teacher Bran will fall into his third eye, and never come back.The only place where the three-eyed crow can be found, who Jojen believes will teach Bran all that he needs, is north of the Wall. Eschewing the comforts and probable-safety of holing up with a loyal bannerman, Bran agrees that they'll head that way. Bran and company are hiding in the crypts of Winterfell. They venture out to find the castle destroyed and Maester Luwin mortally wounded. Mackelly and Simon sort through the debris.Chapter Review:Bran Stark sees and smells the destruction of Winterfell through the eyes of Summer. He's been in wolf form for three days, but Osha, Hodor, Rickon and the Reeds are waiting for, and on, him in the crypts beneath Winterfell. With what he's learned, the party decides to venture forth - they need food anyway.Only Hodor has the strength to move the door which is blocked by rubble. The destruction is wanton and considerable: horses, dogs, and people lie dead everywhere. Bran blames Theon Greyjoy, but Osha suspects that the "Squid Prince" might have been a victim here too. Rickon doesn't recognize it as his home. But he does recognize the direwolves who come trotting up. The wolves scent something and head for the Godswood.There they find Maester Luwin on the edge of death. He counsels Osha to split the boys up. Take Rickon to the King's Road and Bran to the Wall. She does so, taking Rickon, while the remainder accompanies Bran north. Theon is surrounded. Ser Rodrik Cassel has amassed Northern forces to surround and retake Winterfell. At the 11th hour, Theon is saved by Reek, who has brought hundreds of Bolton men. But Reek wants more than just Theon's good wishes. Simon and Mackelly weigh the treacheries.Chapter Review:Maester Luwin advises Theon Greyjoy to yield Winterfell. Ser Rodrik Cassel has brought perhaps 2,000 loyal northmen who have Winterfell surrounded. Theon doubts Luwin's loyalty, but the maester reminds him that he serves the Lord of Winterfell, who is Theon (kinda).Theon gives the ironborn a rousing speech, but only 17 rally to his cause. The rest flee back to his sister Asha. Ser Rodrik wants to parlay and Theon rides out to meet him. Cassel is twitching to kill the turncloak, but Theon has a trump card. At a signal, Rodrik's daughter Beth is paraded on the walls with a noose around her neck. Theon tells Rodrik that she dies at sunset and another citizen will join her every morning and night until the besiegers withdraw. Cassel offers himself in Beth's place, but Theon's not buying.Luwin suggest that Theon take the Black. Theon considers how high someone with his training might rise in the Night's Watch. But before he can answer, sounds of fighting are heard. Reek has returned, with hundreds of mounted Bolton men. They decimate the other northmen and kill Cassel and others. Reek reveals himself to be Ramsay Snow, Roose Bolton's bastard. Theon is grateful, but Ramsay's men are not done. Theon's nightly nightmares often revolve around his lies, deceits, and the atrocities he's committed. His sister Asha shoots him straight about his dire situation in Winterfell. He refuses to heed her advice and puts his last bit of hope on the shoulders of Reek. Simon and Mackelly raise their eyebrows in skepticism. Chapter Review:Theon Greyjoy wakes from another bad dream to learn that his sister Asha has finally arrived in Winterfell. On his way to the Winterfell Great Hall to see her, he's surrounded by bodyguards. Ironborn have been dropping like flies around the castle, since they returned from the mill with the bodies of Bran and Rickon. Theon knows it's Reek who has committed the murders, to keep the secret of what happened at the mill from getting out. However, Theon uses the kennel master Farlen as a scapegoat for the crimes, and beheads him.Asha has brought Theon reinforcements to help hold Winterfell. Unfortunately, she's brought him a mere 10 men. Theon says it's not enough, Ser Rodrik Cassel is riding toward the castle with an army. Asha points out that's something he should've thought about before taking Winterfell. She asks him to give up on the castle and come with her back to Deepwood Motte. He refuses, so she leaves. Theon gives Reek silver to buy men to help hold the castle. He then second-guesses why he didn't do the smart thing and leave with his sister. As dawn breaks over Winterfell, he looks at the heads of the boys on the spikes and thinks of the Miller's sons. Tyrion learns that Bran and Rickon Stark are dead. Cersei reveals that she has caught his “little whore.” But Tyrion's sophistry has worked, and she's captured the wrong woman. Tyrion promises grim vengeance against his sister. Mackelly and Simon mourn the death of sibling detente.Chapter Review:Lord Varys reveals that the Greyjoys have killed the Stark boys. Tyrion Lannister is shocked and wants to know if Cersei will be shocked too. He hurries to join her for dinner.She is surprised and slightly irked that she always gets blamed when harm befalls a Stark - it was Jamie who pushed Bran. They both worry for Jamie, and are determined to keep Sansa as safe as possible. Tyrion wants Balon Swann and Sandor Clegane fighting when Stannis comes, Cersie worries that they should be protecting the King.Things go very sour when Cersei reveals that she has captured Tyrion's whore. She has Alayaya dragged in. She's bloodied but not broken. Tyrion promises to free her. He rounds on Cersei and promises that he'll hurt her for this. Theon loses Bran, Rickon, and the direwolves. They escape with the help of Jojen, Meera, Osha, and Hodor. He gives chase, but they're outsmarted by the wolves and the wildling. Reek suggests a way for Theon to save face. Simon and Mackelly put Reek's plan to the sniff test.Chapter Review:Theon Greyjoy awakes abruptly in Ned and Catelyn Stark's bed in Winterfell, but all is quiet. Too quiet! The direwolves' infernal howling has stopped. Theon dresses and sends men to find out what is up. As the castle is roused it becomes apparent that Bran and Rickon have escaped.The young princes are accompanied by their direwolves, Hodor, Osha, and the Reeds. No horses are missing so Theon decides to wait for morning before beginning the pursuit. With the morn he rides out with his men, the Winterfell hounds, Reek, and Maester Luwin. The latter beseeches Theon to not harm the boys. Both know that they're worth more alive than dead, so it is a deal Theon agrees to.The hounds are defeated by some trickery by Osha - who has sent the direwolves in a different direction. Eventually, they're forced to admit defeat. But Reek has a plan to save face. He's brought spare cloaks and a wolf's head brooch, and has a hunch where the boys are. Bran and the Reeds exchange dreams after Bran accepts that Jojen really can dream of the future. None of the dreams portend good news for Bran and Winterfell. Meanwhile, the fracas between the Boltons and the Manderlys worsens and Lady Hornwood is killed. Mackelly and Simon discuss whether fate is immutable. Chapter Review: Maester Luwin has news of the King in the North's victory at Oxcross, but the Frey's uncle's demise. Brandon Stark should be happy, but Osha's warning that Robb is marching south when he should be marching north continues to unsettle him. The Walders seem far more comfortable with the bad news they received, bickering playfully over the complexities of the Frey succession. It dawns on Bran that this very much fulfills Jojen Reed's dream that the Frey's would be fed worse meat but seem to enjoy it more. Later, Jojen tells Bran that he is a warg. Someone able to enter the mind of an animal and control it. His dreams of Summer aren't dreams at all. Jojen reveals his other “green-dream” - the ones that he reckons are pure prophecy. The sea will come to Winterfell and drown the people within. He had the dream before he arrived but now he's able to name some of the people he saw drowned. Bran tries to warn these people but most aren't concerned, and the one who does listen (Alebelly) simply stops bathing. Ser Rodrik arrives back from the Hornwood lands. Quite the mess. Roose Bolton's bastard has coerced Lady Hornwood to marry him and name him as her heir. He's abused and murdered her. Ser Rodrik has killed the bastard, and captured his malodorous sidekick Reek who he intends to keep around to testify when Robb returns. In the meantime, houses Manderly and Bolton are fighting in the Hornwood lands and Rodrik doesn't have the men to put a stop to it. Bran enjoys the Reeds' company. Jojen reveals that he has the greensight allowing him to dream of the future. He offers to trade dreams with Bran. Things get tense and Summer threatens the Reeds. They avoid the wolves and later Meera shares another of Jojen's dreams with Bran. Mackelly and Simon have a go at oneirocriticism. Chapter Review: Brandon Stark is enjoying the company of Meera and Jojen Reed. The other northern dignitaries have left, and the three are frolicking with Summer in the Godswood. Meera shows her skill with trident and net. Bran shows off his and Summer's circus-stunts. Jojen reveals that he has the greensight: his dreams are prophecies. Bran wants to know his future, but Jojen wants to hear about Bran's own dreams. Jojen knows a surprising amount already. The three-eyed raven has visited him since he nearly succumbed to a fever as a child. Jojen's dream is of a winged-wolf shackled to earth by stone chains, that the raven cannot cut. Jojen knows that Bran can inhabit Summer, but this all gets too close to home for Bran. Summer, and later Shaggydog, attack the Reeds, who are lucky to be good tree-climbers. We learn that Roose Bolton's bastard son has kidnapped and married the widow Hornwood. This has been countered by Lord Manderly occupying the Hornwood lands and castles. Ser Rodrik has gone to knock some heads together. Maester Luwin dismisses greensight as a forgotten fable, that if it ever existed, is long gone. His own experiments with magic proved (to him) that it doesn't exist. Bran is relieved and disappointed. If magic did exist he could still hope for a cure to his paralysis. Bran hosts a harvest feast for all the visiting dignitaries at Winterfell. It's kind of fun for a while. Howland Reed's children arrive to the surprise of all. Bran hits the hay when the dancing starts in earnest. In his dream, he sees the Reeds visit the godswood and stroke Summer. Mackelly and Simon cast their third eye over the scene. Chapter Review: Bran Stark hosts the feast and directs each course to be offered first to a different lord, to ensure diplomatic equivalence. The food is good. The scene is amiable, but Bran daydreams of Summer in the godswood. Unexpectedly, Meera and Jojen Reed arrive from Greywater Watch. Bran has never met a crannogman before. They express their fealty and their great interest in meeting the direwolves. The party continues until the dancing makes Bran yearn for bed. Hodor obliges. In his dream, Bran sees through Summer's eyes the approaching Jojen and Meera. Jojen intuits the nature of the wolves, noting that Summer is stronger than he knows. When he touches Summer's muzzle Bran is disconnected and lapses into his familiar dream of falling. Bran, as the Stark in Winterfell, must welcome and entertain a succession of Northern nobility as they come to petition for favors and to vie for the hand of the recently widowed Donella Hornwood (who happens to be the Lady of a large tract of valuable land). He's not thrilled, but Simon and Mackelly are.Chapter Review:Bran Stark and Hodor watch the young nobles, squires, and pages practicing in the yard. The Freys come over and verbally abuse Hodor, who is unaffected by their cruelty, but Bran isn't. Maester Luwin intervenes before things get heated.Bran, Luwin, and Ser Rodrik Cassel host representatives of houses: Manderly, Hornwood, Umber, Glover, Tallhart, and Cerwyn. They all want something, and all have a plan for Lady Hornwood's hand. Her own plan seems to involve Ser Rodrik to the amusement of Maester Luwin. What's within their power is granted, but most serious matters (including Lady Hornwood) are deferred until King Robb can decide. Lady Hornwood is troubled by what Roose Bolton's bastard and presumed heir is up to in the Dreadfort. As should we all.Cley Cerwyn mentions Stannis' accusation that Joffrey is the product of incest and none other than the Kingslayer's son. This discombobulates Bran. That night he dreams of the raven who pecks open a third eye for Bran through which he sees a blonde man pushing him to his doom. Bran is seeking to understand the meaning of both the comet and the incessant howling of the direwolves. There are lots of opinions. He's increasingly in sync with his direwolf. When he dreams, he doesn't just dream of being a wolf, he sees through Summer's eyes. Mackelly and Simon ponder the implications. Chapter Review: Nobody can sleep because Shaggydog and Summer howl all night. The direwolves are confined to the Godswood, and aren't happy about it. The Winterfell cast all have an opinion as to why the wolves are howling, none of which are much use. Similarly the chorus all have a theory about the comet - but again, it's just hot air (well apart from Old Nan who is unerringly accurate: “Dragons!”, but nobody believes her). The two Walder Freys have arrived (fostered as part of the Twins-crossing deal with their grandfather Walder). They are rambunctious and fun. One of their games led to Rickon getting knocked down, and Shaggydog bit a Walder. This incident had two effects: the wolves were banished to the Godswood, and Rickon became firm friends with the Walders. Bran's given a sleeping draught to get him through the night, but still dreams he's Summer. He prowls the walls of the Godswood, looking for a way out. Bran feels, but doesn't fully understand, the urgent desire to get out. Something compels the direwolves to be free. Bran and Rickon both dream that their father visits them in the crypts. Maester Luwin tries to reassure them that dreams are just dreams. Osha is not so sure, especially when a raven arrives with news from King's Landing. Simon and Mac examine the dark words. Chapter Review: Bran Stark and maester Luwin watch the remnants of the north being trained by Ser Rodrick Cassel. They don't look great. Bran wants to visit the crypts, but Hodor won't go down there. He explains to Luwin that last night he dreamt he talked to his father down there. They agree to visit, with Osha taking the Hodor role. Bran talks Osha through the family history as they walk past his ancestors, she's a little bit impressed. When they reach Ned's waiting tomb, they are attacked by Shaggydog. Luwin receives a nasty cut, and both Summer and Shaggy are bloodied by the time Rickon calls off the fight. He too has dreamt of his father in the crypts. They return to Luwin's tower to patch him up and continue the lessons in history and dreams versus reality. Suddenly the wolves howl as a battered looking raven lands on the ledge. Without reading it, Osha and the boys know exactly what news the dark wings bring. "Tell your man to step aside or there will be violence." says Lancel Lannister. Cersei Lannister replies "I choose violence." Season 6 and “A Dance With Dragons” conclude in spectacular fashion as we evaluate episodes 8, 9 & 10. Brienne and Jaime Lannister lay eyes on each other for the first time since Jaime gave her his sword to find and protect Sansa Stark, King Tommen outlaws Trial By Combat and Brynden the Blackfish refuses to give up Riverrun. Over in Essos, the Masters of Astapor and Yunkai take advantage of Daenerys' absence and launch an all out assault on Meereen. At Riverrun a common foot soldier has to make a choice to either take commands from the man who reformed their army and took back Riverrun from the Frey's, or to take commands from the rightful Lord of Riverrun with a proverbial knife to his throat. Will he make the right choice? The Hound gets his revenge on the strangers who butchered the villagers he had been staying with and meets up with some familiar faces. In Bravos, the Waif corners Arya to kill her once and for all, but only one is accustomed to fighting in the pitch black. Jaquen H'ghar follows the blood trail to the Hall of Faces and makes a shocking discovery as to who's face has been added to the Hall. He turns to Arya and says "Finally a girl is no one." Arya replies "A girl is Arya Stark of Winterfell and I'm going home." Back in Meereen, Daenerys returns to her city being under attack and has vengeance on her mind. "I will crucify the masters, I will set their fleets afire, kill every last one of their soldiers and return their cities to the dirt." she declares while getting the debrief from Tyrion. Tyrion talks her down and to do it his way. They meet with the Masters and there is a misunderstanding as to whom is surrendering. Daenerys tells the Masters "We obviously didn't communicate clearly, we're here to discuss your surrender not mine." before taking flight with Drogon and destroying the Masters fleet and armies. At Winterfell, there is a parlay between the Northern houses that have sided with the Ramsay Bolton and the Northern houses/Wildlings that have sided with Jon Snow. Ramsay chides Jon and tells him "There's no need for a battle, get off your horse and kneel." to which Jon replies "You're right, there's no need for a battle, thousands of men don't need to die. Only one of us. Let's end this the old way, you against me." Ramsay doesn't take the bait and tells Jon "I keep hearing stories about you bastard, the way the people in the North talk about you, you're the greatest swordsman that ever walked. Maybe you are that good. Maybe not. I don't know if I'd beat you, but I know my army will beat yours." Jon returns the verbal spar "Aye you have the number, but will your men want to fight for you when they hear you wouldn't fight for them" which draws Ramsays ire to Jon's satisfaction. With Meereen back under control, Yara and Theon attempt to make a pact with Daenerys for the Iron Islands. Rickon Stark runs for his life in vain, the Battle of the Bastards commences. Jon receives aid from an unsuspecting ally. Ramsay's story comes full circle. In Kings Landing, the High Sparrow and others prepare for Cersei and Loras' trial. King Tommen tries to attend but his way is barred by Ser Gregor. Margaery tries to convince the High Sparrow something is wrong, but his arrogance leads them to a fiery surprise. Tommen finds out what happened and takes his own life. The Frey's have a banquet feast celebrating the retaking Riverrun with the Lannister army and Jaime openly questions Walder Frey's importance to his face. Sam arrives at the Citadel and is permitted access to the Library. Ser Davos in Winterfell confronts Melisandre about Shireen's fate in an emotional explosion and Daario Naharis learns that he will not be joining Daenerys and her army to Westeros. Arya exacts her revenge on the Frey's for the Red Wedding as things start to shift in the Stark's favor finally. Bran received safe passage to the Wall from a long lost undead Uncle and we learn there is magic in the Wall that keep the army of the dead at bay. Bran goes into a vision and we learn the truth of a certain "bastard". while Jon Snow holds a meeting in the great hall of Winterfell where the Northern houses bestow the same title upon him as they did Robb Stark. With all members of the royal family dead in Kings Landing except one, she takes the crown for herself and Daenerys is finally on her way to accomplish what she has set out to do since Season 1. "Now it begins." -Ser Arthur Dayne. "No, now it ends." -Ned Stark.  The season continues as Jon Snow comes back to the land of the living.  Bran is still training with the 3 Eyed Raven as they go back to the battle at the Tower of Joy where we all get a chance to see The Sword of The Morning in breathtaking combat for the first and only time.  In Vaes Dothrak, Daenerys awaits her fate during the time of the Khalar Vezvhen to see if she will be staying with the Dosh Khaleen or something less kind.  In Mereen, Varys learns the truth about where the Sons of the Harpy are getting their funding while at Kings Landing, Qyburn now has Varys little birds for his own. In Bravos, Jaquen H'gar tells Arya "A girl is not a beggar anymore." Lord Smalljon Umber back at Winterfell comes to Ramsay for an alliance and even though they don't see eye to eye, Lord Umber has a gift for Ramsay.... "Welcome home, Lord Stark" Ramsay tells Rickon Stark.  Sansa pleas with Jon to get an army to retake Winterfell back from the Bolton's, Tyrion appears to have struck a deal with the Good Masters of Astapor, the Wise Masters of Yunkai and their friends in Volantis and Daenerys comes up with a plan of her own.  Jon Snow receives a threatening letter from Ramsay Bolton in which he and Sansa learn that Ramsay has Rickon and now they have no choice but to try and take Winterfell back.  Daenerys meets with the great khal's while they attempt to decide her fate, until she decides for herself in a fiery blaze of glory.  Stick with the Riddikulus Crew as we tackle the next wave of events in the wildly thick plot of season 6! They’re the Sallie Mae of Game of Thrones. They always get their money. They’re the student loan debtors at Game of Thrones. 1:55 – The crown owes a lot to Iron Bank. One of the things Cersei gets to is that she’s holding on tooth and nail to the power she does possess. When she’s talking in King’s Landing to Iron Bank, she says the debt will be paid within a fortnight. She intends to pay by robbing the Tyrell's, the house she destroyed. It seems like the deal is sealed. 2:45 what’s up in Winterfell? Some new kids on the block in the ‘fell, aka that’s where they live. 3:00 – There’s constant reunions in Winterfell. Last episode we saw bran come back to Winterfell after not being there since season 2, when Theon took over. 3:30 – Bran last episode had a reunion with Sansa. Now it’s Arya’s turn! The scene starts with Arya on the horse, overlooking the home she hasn’t been to in six seasons. The last time she was there her entire family was still alive. Now her mom, dad, oldest brother, younger brother all dead. 4:00 – Arya reconnects with Sansa then Bran. It felt truly like the circle is complete they’re all back together, and so different. The scene of Arya wheeling bran as Sansa walks nearby, you realize how much life has happened to these kids. As much has changed in their short lives in the show. You get the sense things at Winterfell are closer to being better, not fixed. But everyone’s favorite creepy uncle LIttlefinger is lurking! 4:55 – Did you catch Bran saying “Chaos is a ladder?” it’s like, Littelfinger is SHOOK. When he realizes that Brans out of nowhere reciting this. 5:15 Littelfinger strikes me as a character who doesn’t’ buy into magic, White Walkers. He’s into palace intrigue, what he can manipulate. I think it’s the first time LIttlefinger realizes he’s up against something out of his control that he can’t outsmart. 5:45 – Bran was creeping out everyone. I think it’s because he’s become the 3-eyed-raven, he’s not Bran anymore. He’s something else, but still has bran’s memories. 6:00 – he’s the collective memory of the universe. He says that to Myra, in what may be the most cold-blooded scene in the series. I’m like, UGH! I was so happy the season bran was beyond the wall. Because I was like good, you’re a sour boy with a bad attitude. Like, we get it, but still! UGH! You could’ve been like, thank you…no one wanted to wheel and carry you around. It just shows you, he’s the 3-eyed-raven. I thought that he’d be like an apprentice. But now he IS the memory. 7:12 – it was accelerated because the original 3-eyed was killed. Whose fault? Bran’s! 7:25 – Cersei’s in King’s landing, the Winterfell kids have returned and they’re worse for the wear. Now in Dragonstone 7:30 – you have Khaleesi and Jon Snow. Daenerys is up against a wall.     7:55 it’s because she started the season with a strong hand. She had the Greyjoy siblings with their navy. He had the Sand Snakes. She had the Tyrells/ Highgarden, the richest house in the kingdom. She had all that, and in the course of three episodes she lost all her allies. She still has dragons and an army, but no longer any Westerosi allies. 8:40 the closes she has to an ally is Jon, who is only there to dig and go. He’s not trying to be anyone’s king of anyone’s kingdoms. He’s’ like, these White Walkers are in route, we should make haste. 9:00 Daenerys discovers a mine of dragon glass under Dragonstone. That scene felt cop-out-y, like “a world of everything we need.” Yeah, you’d think this is perfect, but what’s gonna go wrong? Everything as to this point. 9:30 it’s too convenient. He spent 2 episodes trying to convince Daenerys, then he shows her pictures in the cave and she’s like I believe you. Seemed too quick for a turnaround. But the plot has to move forward. Clock is ticking. 10:00 Daenerys decides Jon can start mining and she says she’ll fight for the north, only if Jon bends the knee. 10:25 – After Dany and Jon have discovery in cave and romantic tense sexual tension…it’s creepy…but Targaryen’s wed brother and sisters for centuries…. 10:50 – after the cave discovery, Daenerys finds out from Tyrion that their plan to take Casterly Rock has failed, and the unsullied fleet has been burned by Euron Greyjoy. She finds out Yara has been taken captive, and she’s like screw y’all I Game of Thrones these dragons. I’ll go ride on them and figure things out. But her council try and talk her out of attacking king’s landing by appealing to her better nature, saying if you do this you’re just like your father who did the same. 11:45 – we forgot, there’s a return of a character—Theon and what remains of the Greyjoy fleet. 12:05 – Theon comes up on the beach, looking for Daenerys’ help to find his sister. But she’s’ gone, and he has an awkward reunion with Jon snow, which is awkward AF because Theon took Winterfell. 12:30 – Theon asks Jon where Daenerys is. Where is she? 12:45 – we circle back on the rose road, and It’s Jamie, Bron and the Tarley's, who were bannermen. Having come back from their victory in Highgarden. 13:00 – the Tyrrells were the richest family in the kingdom, and had the most fertile lands. They were the family that supplied the army and kingdom. 13:30 – an important point—Randall Tarly comes up to Jaime, says we Game of Thrones gold through city gates. What’s on the road is the food. That’s important to know because they hear something. 14:00 I think the noise is the sound of a thousand butterflies. AKA a Dothrak horde that they’re using as a plot device. They come out of NOWEHRE at the drop of a hat. 14:22 – how far is Highgarden from Dragonstone? Have they been riding horses for 2 weeks and no one knew?? Those are a ton of Dothrak. A ton of logistic questions about this show and episode. 15:06 – as you see the Dothrak horde—which is scary—you see the Lannister army is shook. And then…we hear a screech. And see two gigantic black wings come out. 15:30 – the look on Jamie’s face is the look you have when you look at your bank account and it’s low, and you see you haven’t paid your student loan payment this month. It’s like, this is gonna get much worse. Jamie looks like debt. 15:55 – hell breaks loose! There are flame everywhere! 16:00 – flames everywhere. On all surfaces—as soon as those fires come out of the dragon’s mouth, it lays waste to all the booty Cersei was literally banking on. They make a BBQ. This is a cookout now. 16:30 – a disturbing and interesting effect was, you saw people turn into ash. And it would like, be swept away into dust. 16:45 – on epis like this of Game of Thrones, I want to talk to prop masters! The horse trainer union! The guys doing pyrotechnics in the sky, it’s just so…you have to realize they’re creating a world! It’s giving me "Battle of the Bastards" vibes. 17:45 – my dragon sound effects! Jamie was shook. 17:53 –Bron runs to a caravan, and he gets the crossbow that Quiberon shows Cersei that he thinks could kill a dragon. He shoots and Daenerys dodges. 18:25 – Bron’s trying to hit Daenerys with crossbow. She realizes it, and goes straight towards Bron. She’s not zigging or zagging. 18:45 – she’s on her Rickon Stark game. Maybe they’re all related! When arrows come their way, they run towards them! 19:00 – he goes down but not all the way down. For a second, I’m like is this how she’s gonna die?? She gets off the dragon, tries to get arrow out of his shoulder, and then we see Jamie. And he sees the dragon down, and he sees Daenerys. all the while, Tyrion is on the sidelines watching it. Jamie is running towards Daenerys. Dany turns around, the dragon turns around and breathes a jet of fire. Bron grabs Jamie, pulls him into the river, and episode ends with Jamie drowning in the water as the screen goes to black. 20:20 – It’s insane. It was the craziest most intense episode I’ve watched in a long time. 20:30 – we haven’t seen a battle in a long time. We’ve seen a few sword-to-sword clashes, but otherwise lots of mutilations and surprise killings. But you’re seeing, this is what war looks like. As Tyrion surveys, he zeroes in on a horse on fire. It shows you war. We haven’t seen a badass war in so long. This one was so good! It gave us more dragon! 21:40 – we haven’t seen this much dragon action ever probably. 21:50 – we’ve seen it in Mereen when she was rescued and the episode where she takes out Slaver’s Bay and unleashes the dragons. But nothing like this. This was like, it was only one. 22:15 – wild predictions for episode 5? It’ll be near the end of first half of last season. 22:40 – I think that you’re gonna see Daenerys getting more assertive with Tyrion and with Varys, because they were the two telling her to be more cautious and to play it their way. She’s seeing none of Tyrion’s plans worked. It was kind of on him. The only play she did on her own worked pretty well and took out most of the Lannister army what does Cersei have? Gold but no food. What happens with Theon? 23:30 – I have an idea, Theon gets to king’s landing, either kills Euron or sacrifices himself for Yara. I think he’s dead before end of the season. 23:50 – as you were talking, I was thinking he hasn’t had his “ultimate sacrifice” redemption yet. 24:00 – I think what’s coming is as showdown of the Lannister kids. Once Cersei finds out Tyrion is why Jamie’s dead captured or injured…. whoa. when she finds out the role that he’s had in whatever happens to Jamie, Cersei’s gonna come after Tyrion. 24:55 – and Jamie just found out it wasn’t Tyrion that killed Joffrey, it was Oleanna. 25:10 – FMK segment!
