It's a fact...rock music...more specifically loud rock music...thrive on electric guitars and ass kicking solos. But, for a long time, it seems like there has been a real lack of guitar heroes. And that's why Extreme's first album of new music in 15 years, "Six", feels like such a breath of fresh air...because in guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, they have a bona fide guitar slinger on the level of some of the greatest of his generation. And now that the full album is out, it was cool to catch up with Nuno this morning to talk more about the album and much more!

John Amoriello has been on the Mouthful of Graffiti podcast twice, but we wanted to have him back to promote his new Old Man Jones album and show at Zen West on April 15th. The album, ‘Crashing Down' is chock-full of ‘Blockbuster' rock n' roll anthems and has enough classic rock riffage to make The Spaceman blush. It may be a nod to the past but it's here today to remind us that rock n' roll has seen ‘Stranger Things' and is alive and well. Join me in welcoming John Amoriello back to The MOG! Critical Race Theory, Identify Politics and "Wokeness" are tearing at the social fabric of our society. James and his Co-Author Helen Pluckrose are challenging that with their book Cynical Theories. Get James Lindsay's book - Pete A Turner is joined by Dr Wilfred Reilly as the three scholars dive into human dynamics, pulling us back from the edge and getting folks to be less divisive. Album Fight - The Police vs Fall Out Boy - The Police's Ghost in the Machine takes on Fall Out Boy's Save Rock and Roll. Album Fights pit two albums against one another. Usually, the albums have a like number of tracks. The albums face off in a boxing, round-based format. The first tracks face one another, and our panel of judges decides which song prevails. The rounds are scored on a 10pt must system-meaning the winner MUST be awarded 10 points. The loser gets 10-7 points depending on how the judges assess the round. We don't like tied rounds. An 8 is considered a knockdown, while a 7 is considered a fight defining double knockdown. We LOVE this music and celebrate the wonderful creations of these bands. We hope you enjoy this Album Fight. They connect with their listeners and....they care. Itâs a mutual love of hard rock and metal. Subscribe. Today. Keep it going guys!! Facebook Review: Robert Sedler reviewed Decibel Geek Podcast — 5 star February 1 at 4:59pm · I started listening to podcasts in early 2017 and immediately went looking for a decent rock/metal show. I found a few that were forgettable, and a few that were downright awful. I stumbled upon Decibel Geek and noticed that they had an entire episode dedicated to the mighty Y&T. I said to myself, “OK, this is worth checking out”. I love being right, and boy was I ever right. These guys freakin’ GET IT. They cover a wide spectrum of everything that rocks, and have a good knowledge of some obscure bands that never get enough love. They live what they love, and you can tell that their love for the genre is as real as it gets. Keep it up guys. Yep! The title says it all -- almost. But hey, it's so frigging long what else do we need to say? This audio collects cool analysis of current stories pertaining to liberty, including the tales mentioned above and another, about the TSA detaining a girl in a wheelchair. Insane. We study why all the areas in which gubment operates cannot satisfy everyone and cannot operate in accordance to real wishes, because no one can choose to pull back their cash as they can in a market paradigm.
