MIRACLES FOR YOU Sondra Ray & Markus Ray on A Course in Miracles
MARKUS RAY gives a commentary on Section IV of Chapter 26: WHERE SIN HAS LEFT. What is there to forgive when we see that there is nothing to forgive in the awakened Self? But until we awaken into that Self of Christ Consciousness, there are a lot of errors in our belifs in "sin" that need to be undone. Forgiveness has a mighty role in this "undoing." Illusions seem real until they are understood as merely a mirage, a figment of the imagination that we projected onto the life stream. Such as "guilt." What if there was no such a thing? Mistakes are innocent. Correction is just. Sinlessness is a fact. Guilt does not exist in Reality. Where sin has left there is only the Altar to Truth. At this Altar before the Gate of Heaven, the Joy of Creation sits waiting for us to raise our voice in the song of Creation of all the Universe. We have something to give "where sin has left.” We have a song to sing in this Joyous Chorus.

Nate gets the opportunity to sit down with Morris Central School Basketball legend, Bryan Gorsira. Bryan is second on the all-time boys scoring list at MCS with 1,174 points. He is well known for his smooth shot while playing under coach Tom Moriarty. The Mustangs won two TVL titles and one Section IV championship during Gorsira's time in the blue and white. One additional note: The New Berlin establishment mentioned at the end of the episode was the Eagle Hotel.
Nate finishes up his trip to Hunter-Tannersville by sitting down with the father/son duo of Chris and Grady Glennon. Chris is a longtime teacher and coach at HTC and is a staple of the Delaware League. His son, Grady, just graduated and is one of the best high school golfers in Section IV and New York State in recent years.
MIRACLES FOR YOU Sondra Ray & Markus Ray on A Course in Miracles
The First Obstacle to Peace is the "Desire to get rid of peace." It's hard to believe we are so addicted to anger and conflict, but we are. And the when Peace comes to us, we actually feel uncomfortable because it is not the struggle we are used to, and we "want to get rid of it." This Section IV of Chapter 19, The Attainment of Peace, does very well explaining our "blocks" to realizing peace. When we take a close introspection of our minds and its devious shenanigans, we see that the ego does not want peace. It wants "the fight," and eventually the "rest" of death, which is not real rest at all. We can all benefit from studying this Section IV quite carefully so we are not fooled by the ego's wily tactics.
Nate is honored to sit down with longtime local wrestling icon, Carl Koenig. He is currently the President of the Upstate New York Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. Carl spent his career as a teacher, coach and administrator in the Oxford district. He is a mainstay in high school and college officiating circles at the highest levels. His list of awards and accomplishments makes him one of the most decorated individuals in Section IV.

Today I had the pleasure of having conversations with four coaches associated with the Big 44 Ernie Davis / Floyd Little All-Star Classic Football Game. First, I spoke with Coach Steve Virkler, long-time Owego Football Coach, Section IV and State Level Football icon, who is now retired but still playing an instrumental role in making the Big 44 Ernie Davis / Floyd Little All-Star Classic Game a success.Today I also had a conversation with three guest coaches who will be leading the teams playing in Sunday's Big 44 Ernie Davis / Floyd Little All-Star Classic. two teams in this All-Star Classic. From Team Little, head coach Nick Patterson, first year Henninger head coach but longtime coach of the Marcellus Mustangs, from Section 3. Nick's motto is Commitment, Hard work and Fun. From Team Davis, head coach Mike “Built Ford Tough” Ford and current SV head coach since 2013, where he has coached back-to-back state champions in 2018 and 2019. Also from Team Davis is Defensive Coordinator Tommy “High Energy” Baleno and current Union Endicott head coach since 2013. All three of our coaches were former BC Jets (1999). I am proud to say I coached Mike and Tommy directly as their defensive backs coach. Welcome to Episode 196 of Lucretius Today. This is a podcast dedicated to the poet Lucretius, who wrote "On The Nature of Things," the only complete presentation of Epicurean philosophy left to us from the ancient world. Each week we walk you through the Epicurean texts, and we discuss how Epicurean philosophy can apply to you today. If you find the Epicurean worldview attractive, we invite you to join us in the study of Epicurus at EpicureanFriends.com, where you will find a discussion thread for each of our podcast episodes and many other topics. This week we continue our discussion of Books One and Two of Cicero's On Ends, which are largely devoted to Epicurean Philosophy. "On Ends" contains important criticisms of Epicurus that have set the tone for standard analysis of his philosophy for the last 2000 years. Going through this book gives us the opportunity to review those attacks, take them apart, and respond to them as an ancient Epicurean might have done, and much more fully than Cicero allowed Torquatus, his Epicurean spokesman, to do.Follow along with us here: Cicero's On Ends - Complete Reid EditionWe are using the Reid edition, so check any typos or other questions against the original PDF which can be found here.As we proceed we will keep track of Cicero's arguments and outline them here:Cicero's Objections to Epicurean PhilosophyLast week we started discussion of Section IV and this week we will pick up at the same place and deal with Cicero's argument as he pursues his argument that Epicurus does not know what he means when he talks about pleasure:
