Do you know what stripper energy is? Let three women who worked as dancers at Les Girls Theater in San Diego expose you to the naked truth about what being a dancer was like in the 1960s, 70s and 80s. While dancers today may bristle at the term stripper, Kata Pierce-Morgan embraced it in the 1970s and fought against the stereotypes with what she calls “stripper energy.” In this chapter: Kata Pierce-Morgan, poet, activist, former dancer, current owner of Les Girls Theater Bobbi Rogers, former dancer at Les Girls Theater and performer in “Let in All Hang Out” Pepper, former dancer and cashier at Les Girls Theater in the 1980s Andromeda Breeze Bradley, featured dancer from “No Regrets” Credits: Beth Accomando, Producer/Host Christopher Maue, Videographer/Lighting Designer Kurt Kohnen, Sound Designer Phil Nenna, Designer/Animator Sanns Dixon, Videographer Amy Fan and Gaby Moreno, Assistants David Washburn, Editor Explicit content.

Top 3 Surprising Reasons Why Ladies Become StrippersThe strip club industry is like a mystery to anyone on the outside. Maybe you've thought about getting in, but have been afraid for one reason or another. There are all kinds of stereotypes about strippers, made up by ignorant people that have no idea what they're talking about. The people that think it's not a real job, probably don't realize that we make more money than they do, and have more ability to do whatever we want, more so than most of the world. So as an insider, I'll let you know the real top 3, most surprising reasons why girls get into the industry. The number 1 most surprising, Is to learn how to step into their true feminine and really own their sexuality. Being a girl growing up with a conservative family, father or mother, religion, school, society, or something can play a huge role in intentionally or unintentionally, shaming girls for showing skin... wearing make-up... being flirty... being themselves really is what it boils down to in my opinion... and over time that can start to affect how you might openly express being a woman with a powerful presence. Your divine feminine isn't something to be ashamed of. Taking care of your appearance, exercising your body to keep or get it in great shape, wearing makeup, and learning how to speak well, can boost your self-esteem, and psychologically command attention. Women are the caretakers of the earth. We can bring new life onto this planet. Recognize your power. Your value. Your divine feminine. Reason 2. Desperation & Desire to create a better lifeThe school system has a great way of burying people in debt. We also aren't taught in school about credit or how it can it screw you if you don't understand it, and a lot of people become slaves to the System working every day to pay off the things they probably shouldn't have bought in the first place, and now that includes an amount of interest that might not appear to be large just by looking at 3%, 7%, or whatever it happens to be... but if you keep making just that minimum payment... you're really hurting yourself in the long run, and keeping the bankers fat and happy.Another reason is, their home life was abusive or toxic and they were desperate for a better a life. They could have also been married and needed a way to get away from their toxic partner who had all the resources. Also, they could have just hated their job or having a normal, boring life. And #3 The reason that I found the most surprising (and the most admirable) is being or becoming a single mom. Waiting 2 weeks for a puny paycheck and paying child support all week while working, might not be an option if you need money now. Others realize they don't want to be without their baby all week while being at work. They really realize when they get their paycheck from their normal job, that the little amount of money they're getting while having to leave their child with a stranger in some cases, just isn't worth it. They start to recognize their true value. In this case in particular, a lot of girls are terrified to get started. A big reason for this one, is fear of judgment. Other people's opinions about how you should live your life. The number 1 response I see given to girls that are worried about that... is... Are those people paying your bills? People are going to judge you, no matter what you do. So you might as well flourish, regardless of anyone else's judgy opinion, that really doesn't matter anyway. There's also the aspect of not feeling as confident after having a child. Tons of girls in the industry have stretch marks, scars, big milk-filled boobs, or tiny no more milk boobs... Big bodies, tall bodies, short bodies, small bodies, this color, that color, strong accent, no accent... You are perfectly beautiful in your own way. There will only ever be one of you. You can create your life the way that you want to. And when you grasp that concept and realize no one is in control of your destiny other than you... When you own up to it, you'll cash in on it. Please like this video if you like it, and subscribe if you haven't already for some more stripper insight, from someone that really wants you to gain confidence, be happy, and live the life you want to live.Caio for now

Hey hey welcome to my Podcast. Here I’ll get very personal about how it’s like working at a strip club, how much do I make, how did I get into this industry etc. Should you be a stripper too? Follow my journey!
We found a dope brewery in Chicago's Northside that you need to go drink too much at. Special guest Carmella comes onboard and tells us all about what it's like being a part of the stripper life. Check out the Season Finale, Cheers!
Hey loves. I’m so excited about this episode because although I no longer speak about stripping so much any more, it’s still a bit part of my life and as you’ll find out in this ep, it’s been a huge piece in my empowerment journey. I essentially decided to become a sexual empowerment coach to teach women all the wonderful things that stripping gave me, such as body confidence, freedom, self-expression, independence, worthiness, boundaries and the ability to create my own rules and not give a f**k what anyone else thinks. I’ve answered all of your questions that you sent in and covered topics such as.. ✨ How and why I started stripping. ✨ Tips for girls that want to start stripping. ✨ What stripping is NOT about dancing. ✨ What other women can learn from strippers. ✨ Jealousy. ✨ Everything stripping taught me. ✨ How it has affected relationships in the past. ✨ What my parents though. ✨ How I respond to people negativity around it (there actually isn’t any). ✨ How Stevie is pretty much the best human and the world and although the stigma has never had a problem with it. ✨ How I handle dancing for ‘unattractive’ customers. ✨ The most money I’ve made. ✨ Some funny stories. ✨ Why strip clubs are something that should be celebrated by society. ✨ Why I’m still stripping even while I’m coaching - $$$ Enjoy queens. And if you want to unleash you inner stripper (slut archetype soul) join us here - www.astimaree.com/the-pleasure-portal/

Some of the things I mention in the show: My headset I love to block out the world: https://amzn.to/2Ufz8QH Link to fb group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/stellarlifestrategies/ To receive emails from me, email StrategicStripping@gmail.com and say COUNT ME IN Welcome back to the strategic stripping podcast, My play name is Valeska. I apologize for being a bit MIA I’ve been visiting my family on the east coast... Which is part of the topic today. Location. Or environment. It matters. It matters a lot actually… I’m not a scientist, don’t play one on TV… but from the research I’ve done… Your environment shapes you. According to what I’ve read about epigenetics (which is like this new secret science that’s being uncovered), Your environment literally shapes who you are. It has profound effects on your cells. So for example… let’s say your family has a long line of diabetes, they hang out a lot, everyone’s around each other often… And then you move away, and get super healthy friends. They don’t eat junk, maybe even all organic, love their fruits and veggies…… They exercise and play often…. And though your brother and sister might have developed some type of disease or are teetering on getting diabetes… you never develop it………. But chances are you would have gotten that if you kept hanging around your family or friends that we’re all eating fast food, candy bars etc… It’s your environment, not your genes… that determines so much of your life. You will raise or lower your standards depending on the people you’re around. The environment you’re in. This goes from clubs, all the girls are lazy…. Or all the girls are hustlers… To friends… all your friends are negative people that like to gossip and bitch… Or all your friends like to talk about big ideas… possibilities for the future… what can we do to improve our lives… To class that you’re in……. And I don’t want to sound shitty here… but if you’re around a bunch of people that are broke all the time… you’re more likely to lower your standard, than to help your friends raise theirs…… Im going to give you a quick story…. I was in a weird place in life… surprise surprise… where I found myself hotel hopping, with the other most adventurous stripper I’ve ever met besides myself. This chick was like the epitome of a traveling barbie doll. Big ass boobs, white as paper teeth, long blonde locks…. And messy as fuck. I have always been a crazy germaphobe. I mean I wash my hands, I have my own organic essential oil hand sanitizer spray… I don’t touch door handles… I’ve always used essential oils are perfume because I don’t like chemicals in perfume, I’d rather throwing up out side or in someone’s bathtub than in a toilet because that’s disgusting... I’m just a germaphobe. And while staying with this girl…. One time, there was a knock on the door, 11’oclock, and we’re both s till in bed… it was the cleaning lady… and she got up, opened the door, just asked the towels, and as soon as she closed the door, turned around, and starting heading back to the bed… she just dropped all the towels on the floor….. I couldn’t believe it… The thing that really got me though… was her toothbrush. I found her toothbrush on the floor, near the toilet… and she just didn’t give a fuck. She laughed, put it in her bag, and was like “Well that’s nice”… This girl lowered my standards when it came to cleanliness…. In a ridiculous way… and it’s because we started together for so long. And that standard has never gone back up to where it was. I officially lowered my standards being around her, and I haven’t met anyone who’s counter balanced that in myself yet. Okay, so why am I talking about this… No matter where you are in life right now…. If you’re surroundings are chaotic… if you don’t have a quiet place to think, if you have dogs around you barking all the time, neighbors that stress you out, family or friends around that you just don’t like… get yourself out of that environment. If you want to be successful, get new friends. I mean it. Go to meetup groups. Go to play sports and get around active people. Study people that make money. Grant Cardone, Gary Vaynerchuck, Tony Robbins, Tim Ferriss, check out Impact Theory on YouTube or podcast, also the Mindvalley Podcast - goddamn it’s good… Study money makers. Study world changers. You might not feel like you can do anything right now…. But I swear to you, listening to motivational stuff is the only reason I’m still going. I have huge ambitions…. And if I wasn’t following these global world shakers… I wouldn’t be doing shit with my life. I would be sad, overwhelmed, stressed out…. Girls I am that stuff still…. But listening to motivational stuff…. Keeping the environment in my mind positive is so important for me. And they say motivation is like bathing. You don’t just do it once. You do it daily. I don’t want to make this super long, it’s just been a while since we talked… so I wanted to reach out and say hello, I miss you… I believe in you… and I want to encourage you to think bigger. And that might require getting in a new environment. Don’t make excuses….. ask HOW. How can I do xyz… how can I move… how can I change this about myself… or my life…. What I can I do……. There’s always an answer. Always. Tony Robbins says that the quality of your questions determines your LIFE and this mofo knows what he’s talking about. Change your environment. Study successful people… Study people that think BIG… come join our facebook group if you’re a female, dancer, want to be dancer, or OG used to be a dancer…. I talk a lot in that group… it’s a lot easier for me to text that publish these episodes, so I’m pretty active in there. There’s a link in the description... Speaking of text actualllly… if you want to get emails of encouragement and awesomeness from me…… send me an email at StrategicStripping@gmail.com and say COUNT ME IN…. And as soon as I start emailing regularly, I will add you. The info you’ll get in there will be different than what you get on the podcast. And honestly, I think you’ll like it.
Welcome back to part 2 of the Psychology of Selling. Picking up from where we left off…. The rest of this, is mental. It’s not sales tactics, internal belief and sales tactics. And I promise you, this is the most important. Because you could be hot as fire, but have a shitty mindset, and a lot of people won’t want to buy from you. Or you could be confident as fuck, but not so hot, and you’ll get your customers to say yes one after another. As a reminder… The more you like yourself, the higher your self-esteem will be, your confidence levels will rise, which means it’ll become easy for you to approach customers, you’ll be more optimistic, and have a positive mental attitude more often. Remember, The more you like yourself, the more you'll like other people… and the more you like other people, the more they'll like you…. And the more they’ll want to buy from you, and have their friends buy from you. The more you like yourself, the better a friend you are. The better a boss you are. The better a spouse, girlfriend, fantasy girl….. stripper, hustler, and money maker you’ll be. The more you like yourself, the better is every part of your life. This also will lower your stress levels & strengthen your immune system…… I was mistaken on the last video when I gave you the top 4 things Brian Tracy said that everyone wants. I thought it was Health, Love, Meaningful work, and Work that we do well… but meaningful work, and work that we do well was one topic…. The last one is Financial Independence. The entire reason why strategic stripping was born. Alright, it’s time for you and I, to start doing some projections. And To start thinking about the future. Your future is coming. If you don’t know where you’re going…. You’re already there. Lets really go through this. Brian Tracy the guy who’s stuff we’re talking about, the psychology of selling… He’s been studying millionaires since a very young age… he still does it… you can type him in on YouTube, and he looks like he’s almost 80 at this point… He’s spent an entire lifetime studying successful people… and the number one thing I hear him talk about… is writing down your goals. So you can I are going to do this…. And I already did mine, so now you’ve gotta catch up. You most people in life… just wonder, never really knowing where they’re going, thinking that life is just happening to them… You make life happen, through you. And if you don’t know where you’re going or what you want, you’re just going to keep getting the random bullshit that other people are thinking about too. When someone new comes into your life.. maybe a customer… if you don’t know what you want, your subject to what they want, if they know what they want. Now if that customer comes in there, not really knowing what he wants… you can convince him of what you want… which is money from him. Or a lot of money from him. I’m just trying to make a point… Life isn’t just happening to you. And life isn’t happening for you. Life is happening through you. If life was happening for you, you’d always get the best… but imo, it’s happening through you, which means, which means you’re getting what you’re thinking about. And most people aren’t thinking about what they want. Brian Tracy says writing down your goals is the number one thing you can do to achieve them. When you physically write down your goals, you lock your subconscious mind on that target… and like a homing pigeon can be stolen away from it’s home, locked in a cage, and driven 1100 miles away from home… they’ll open the cage, and that pigeon will find it’s way home…. Your subconscious does the same thing. It’s locked in on it’s target. But it has to know what it’s target is first. So I mean this!!!! Do this because it’ll change your life. Your assignment whether you choose to accept it or not… is to write down 10 goals. I want you to for real write down 10 goals. Ive known this for a long time…. But I think I have really unique goals… so I was always afraid to write them down, because I was afraid someone would find them. What the fuck is this chick on…. But you know what girls… life is too fucking short to be worried about what other people are thinking about when it comes to what you want. This is your life. It’s not any body elses. Think as big as big as you can here. Shoot for the stars. We’ve got one shot at this life… and I’ve heard it’s just as hard, to go for huge goals, as is to live through life playing small. You’d get to lay around in bed a lot more… I don’t know about you… but when I lay in bed being depressed… feeling anxious knowing I’m wasting my time and life…. It’s harder for me to do that, then to go to a meetup group that I know can have a profound impact on my life… or to go work out… or to go travel… and even to go to work. I’ve laid in bed countless times, not wanting to go, waiting until it was too late to go…… and then regretting it for the rest of the night. I can’t imagine how many outstanding customers I’ve missed because of that. And the more time goes on, the more you realize you can’t go back. Life is a now or never kinda game. Get in the game. Let’s play something big. So no matter what your goals are…. No matter how crazy you think they sound… remember what Steve Jobs said… it’s the people that are crazy enough to think that they can change the world… that do. So when you write the goals down, it programs it into your subconscious mind… even if your conscious mind doesn’t remember, that’s okay. Because your subconscious mind does, and is working 24 hours a day to bring that into your reality. We still have some time in this video… so if you appreciate anything I’ve Brought to the table for you through out any single video I’ve ever made…. Do it for both of us…. Get a piece of paper and a pen. You can hide this piece of paper, you can tape it inside of a air duct, tape it on top of your fan, under your dresser… or tape it on the wall in front of you…. But physically write down your goals. Go for 10. And if you have no idea what to write… the number 1 I would start with, is “I am a radically optimistic person.” This number 1 thing, will make your entire life better. You’ll always be looking for the best case scenario… and what we look for, we find. Another good one, is write “I am in the top 10% of income earners in the world” My goal while I was working in the strip club was to be in the top 10% of income earners in the club. I’ve said this many times… The thing I don’t think I mentioned, was that it wasn’t hard to get there…. And, this was small thinking. Knowing what I know now…. I know, as an entertainer, you can get into the top 10% of income earners in the country. You would need to make approximately $14,000 a month, to get In the top 10% of income earners in the world…. Now, that’s a lot. You and I know that’s a lot…. but… we’ve got our whole lives ahead of us to figure out how we’re going to accomplish this…. So… I want you to start thinking about being one of the top 10% of income earners in the world…. Claim it as yours. Claim it as your reality. You don’t need to tell anyone that this is your goal…. But you can silently start reminding yourself that this is your goal…. And keep saying it over and over with faith. You might not know how…. But that’s irrelevant. And when you have ideas that are ones that you feel you’re supposed to act on…… Make it happen. One step at a time. Lay out a plan. Look for a partner who’s strengths are your weaknesses. Make a web site. Premium Snap Chat. YouTube channel. Podcast. Make a call to someone you know that’s successful and ask them how. Go to an event. Talk to that person you know you should talk to. Start to network. Start to Save. So you can Invest. And make your money work for you. Make it grow for you. We don’t need to know how. We just need to know what. Claim it now. You belong in the top 10% of income earners. You have to get there mentally before you get there physically. And once you’re there, it’s your job to STAY there in your mind… and in reality. If you’re thinking to yourself right now that there’s no way you could make it into the top 10%…….. I want to give you some legit things to think about. We have a job that when it comes to how much we can make, we are on the same playing field as doctors, lawyers, and whatever else job our parents thought would be good for us to get…. But we have none of the over head fees, and don’t have to go into debt to get to the point that we can start making money. We already start out ahead… and our income is only capped by how much we work, and how creative we are at work. The next thing I want you to realize, is that everyone that’s in the top 10% was at one point in the bottom 10% Everyone that’s at the top in our field… was once not in the field at all. It starts somewhere. You’re starting somewhere. Time is going to keep passing no matter what we do. We might as well have a goal to get in the top 10%, because quite frankly, life will ultimately be harder if we don’t try. If we try to do the easy thing and just fuck around on our shifts until we make what we need to cover for that week or for the rest of the month so we don’t have to go in……. Ultimately life for us will be played small. We won’t get on top. And we’ll always have to keep coming back to make more. But you don’t have to play like that. You can play to win. The game is rigged…. It’s not set up for us to win. Which is why we need to play with intention, and we really need to go for it… And it might not be fair… but life definitely isn’t fair. So we need to work with the reality we have, find the loopholes, and make financial abundance happen for ourselves. Brian says "There’s nothing that’s going to stop you from getting into the top 10% if you just keep trying, and never quit." This is advice from a guy that has spent his entire life studying the super wealthy. He knows. There’s nothing to stop you except if you don’t decide you’re going to do it. You don’t have to know how. You just have to know what. What one skill in your field if you were excellent at, would help you the most? I think it’s giving the sexiest dance in the club. Because if you KNOW you give a fucking good dance……. A dance that they’re going to want another one of…… selling because easy. Because you don’t have to be shy about being a hella good dancer. And when they see your genuine confidence, they’re going to want to know. And this is a learnable skill ladies. Go watch other dancers on instagram, go study some of the sexiest people around. Copy them. And add your own spin. And when you’re giving lap dances, pay attention to what they like . Alright, there’s going to be one more part to this Psychology of Sales segment… but I’m going to leave that for next time. In the meantime…… grab that paper and pen if you haven’t already, and write down at least 10 goals that you want to achieve. If you’re looking for suggestions, Writing “I am a radically optimistic person” “I give the sexiest dance in my club” “I am a top 10% of the world income earner” “I am fit, sexy, and fun” Could be a good last one. The other 6 are up to you to decide
There is a science of getting rich..... and it is an exact science.
This is Chapter 1 of the Science of Getting Rich, if you haven’t listened to the preface yet, the beginning to the beginning of the book, then please go back and listen to that before going on. It’s the beginning to the beginning, so it’s important. I also want to say, I’m going to switch it up, to be talking directly to you. I’m not talking to - as he says - a man or woman… I’m talking directly to you. This is your time. This is your life. This book is being read for you. Lastly, again the book is over 100 years old, so when he gives examples of stuff from way back in time, I’m going to give you an example that gets his point across, in a way that will make sense to now-a-days. Alright, that’s all. Enjoy.
Please don't let this book lose you! (Or let me lose you while reading this! I'm not the best reader.... so if what I'm saying doesn't make sense, here's another place you can listen: https://youtu.be/RrRPeuADvNM?t=6 ) If it doesn't make sense the first time, listen to it all the way through, and then come back to it again later. It might not all make sense the first time, but IT WILL click eventually. Once you understand it, you'll really understand it. Don't give up!!!! This is the foundational key

Episode 35 - This is about being who you are, and asking for what you want.
My first suggestion is to go to Groupon.com and search LASER HAIR REMOVAL. You'll find some eye-popping deals, and IT IS 100% WORTH IT. Shaving every day and getting razor bumps and ingrown hairs is NOT fun.... especially to deal with regularly. Make getting laser a priority... it'll seriously improve your life.In the meantime though! Until you do get it, Id recommend using DollarShaveClub. You can sign up here! I didn't want to have my name on it... so this doesn't even benefit me... but it benefits someone I deeply care about. http://shaved.by/haBxJ I've been using these razors for about a year, and they've saved me a ton of money. Now that I'm going to start dancing again though, I'm also going to end up getting laser done AGAIN. Under my arms this time, and my bikini line again, because it's grown back. (But it's not nearly as much as it was before.) Alright! Take care, stay positive
I've got a suggestion for you at the end about what to pick in life to create your loophole ❤︎
So far, we've really only shared the positive with y'all, and we think it's time to start sharing some of the darker side of stripping....... to start, we'll share some of our worst customer interactions.
This could be one of the most important stripper (or life) video's I ever put out........ Safety is a VERY important thing... and us as entertainers, sometimes are around people that are drinking too much, or too sexually charged in the first place.... I want to give you some examples of how I've gotten myself out of some potentially life threatening situations...
The comfort zone is the place you stay when you're committed to not making a better life for yourself or those around you.... Let's talk about getting out of that...... And I also talk about depression, and exercise.... exercise in a LOT of cases IS the cure for depression... there are a lot of studies done that show what exercise does to the brain and body, and how it combats depression. If you want to make a lot of money....... If you want to play at the top of your game.... you need to be happy first ❤︎
This isn't the only time this has happened by the way.... I've been in many clubs that didn't even ask me to audition. I was just hired. I'm not saying that's normal or that it will happen with everyone. I'm also DEFINITELY not implying this happened because of my looks.......... your personality, timing, the hiring manager.... I'm just saying, don't make this out to be a big deal in your head! Just breathe....... relax....... pretend you're going in on a dare! I DARE YOU TO GO TRY OUT at a strip club, THIS WEEK........ and then message me and let me know how it went. There. Now you're not even going for any other reason than a dare. So no pressure. It's just for fun. I mean it... think of it that way. It's just for fun.
The girl that asked the question, loves her job, but asked because her family is worried about her. I think this episode turend out really well. There's also more to this topic that I'd like to cover in the future. So stay tuned :)
First of all I’d say go in with the intention of just starting that day. You might not start that day, but you might as well be prepared to. The obvious things you need to bring are you ID, and I would bring my social security card jic…. (maybe… this is up to you… they might let you start without it… I’ve done that any a lot of different clubs) Bring a lock…. there are a lot of people that come and go from those dressing rooms. It’s very nice to believe that no one would steal from you, but the reality is, you don’t know that it’s not going to happen. It definitely happens. Baby wipes are important to bring. If you dance for someone with a lot of cologne… you’re not going to want to smell like him all night. If you do think you’re going to work all night… go get some stripper shoes. I’d recommend Pleasers. They’re very comfortable. I wouldn’t get the ones with the VERY pointy heel though. Get something thick to start off with. That way you’ll feel comfortable and STABLE. My first heels for yeas were a VERY thick sole… I never ever ever felt wobbly, and it got me very comfortable walking in heels. And… I definitely wouldn’t go over 6” platforms. Any taller just isn’t necessary, and you won’t feel like a giant that could topple over at any minute. Start with 6”… you can always increase or decrease later. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE APPROPRIATE BOTTOMS…. You don’t want to get there and not be able to work because you don’t have the right panties. A lot of clubs have different (LEGAL) rules for the size of the bottoms… ridiculous… but everything the government has anything to do with seems to be… so of course strip clubs would be the same with them. So be SURE to ask someone THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY’RE TALKING ABOUT (that works at the club), before you get there. Organic breath mints………. don’t suck on mints, or chew gum with aspartame….. aspartame is one of the WORST chemicals for your brain and body… and it can fog your brain, give you facial ticks, give you seizures, make you go deaf, it has 92 different side effects, including death… so I’m not saying pick anything with aspartame. Pick something natural, gum, mints, whatever… that you can use throughout the night to keep your breath fresh. A guarder, or a small purse to keep on you at all times. Don’t put it down, unless your giving a dance. When you’re sitting with customers, keep it on your shoulder. You need to have a secure place to keep your money. I don’t like guarders, because I feel like they look too stripper-ish. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, I just felt like wearing that is a kind of a reminder to the guy that you’re making money… and that might make him feel like, well you’re just trying to make money. Which you are… but I think a purse looks classier… and I guess I just like it more. Either way. You just want to make sure you have your money protected. And that’s really all you need. If you want to go make up shopping before hand, I would recommend stuff by Bare Minerals…. so much make up has so many chemicals and nasty stuff in it…. and if you’re going to be doing this job for a while…. you don’t want that shit on your face every night…. there’s plenty of make up that’s natural…. and doesn’t test on animals. Another thing to consider is a natural deodorant… now you have to find one that actually works for you… The one I use is made of water and mineral salts… you have to put it on right after you get out of the shower, and works really well to keep you smelling clean all night. The reason for a natural deodorant is because pretty much all regular deodorant has a heavy metal, called aluminum in it. And aluminum is linked to brain disease…. alzheimer’s, specifically. You don’t want to wear that shit every day… especially after you shave…. you don’t want that under your arms, which is a very obsorabant place on your body to let that poison get inside you…… Anyway, If you want to bring a hair straightener or curler… go for it… When it comes to make up remover, I would always take coconut oil in a little bottle that I bought…. coconut oil is completely natural, and takes off every eye make up I’ve ever used easily… and it doesn’t have chemicals in it…. And when it comes to perfume…. I’m the weirdo again, and I use essential oils. I like to use peppermint, wintergreen, spearmint, grapefruit, sometimes lemon or sweet orange… pink grapefruit smells good… stuff like that. Obviously regular perfume is an option… but it’s completely made of chemicals. And who wants to breath that all night? Okay… so there’s a list of the things I find essential to going to work. For anyone interested, I’m going to dive into all the health stuff and beauty products eventually. It’s really important in this industry, because they become such a big part of your life….. and if you want to make a lot of money….. being as healthy as you possibly can, will help keep you on the top of your game. That’s it for now y’all, take care, have an excellent try out, stay happy, think about what you WANT to happen… think about people being intrigued by you and happy you’re there with them. Stay positive. Talk to you soon.
Telling yourself you should work specific days and times isn't fun...... but there's a very good reason to do it. To avoid burn out. This is an important episode....
How to audition at a strip club, and what to expect. Step 1. Call the club you want to work at. Ask them 3 questions. “What is the best time and day to audition? “Are T-Backs allowed? Are their any dress code laws I should be aware of?” “What type of outfits to the girls there wear?" Step 2. Get your bag together… ID and Social Security card, make up, hair stuff, deodorant, hair stuff, tampon if you need one…. Leave your money and anything else that you don’t need at home. Step 3. Have your make up done before you get there. You don’t need to over do it. You can if you want, but to start, I’d say wear your make up like you would if you were going to a regular upscale-ish night club Step 4. Walk straight up to the bouncer, or door girl, and say “Hi, I’d like to audition” After they tell you which way to go, or call for a manager to come to the door….. ask them their name, and tell them yours. Be friendly. You could end up knowing them for a while, and it’s best to leave a good impression. Tip: Be friendly with everyone. It makes life easier when your co-workers want to see you… especially the ones like the door girl, manager, or bouncers… who can all hook you up in one way or another. So be friendly, ask them questions about themselves “So how long have you worked here for? Do you like it? What’s your name?” - Ask all the people that help you what their name is… and say it over and over in your head so that you remember it. Write it down when you get the chance. Step 5. They’ll point you in the right direction, and that will probably be to meet the manager, or to head to the dressing room. Step 6. Go to the dressing room, and get dressed. If the house mom is back there, also be friendly with her. Exchange names… Ask her if she has any advice. Step 7. It’s show time! Move slow and sexy. Unless the music is really fast. Try to move with the music. Tip: Make eye contact and smile with customers while on stage. Not shy break away eye contact… but 5 second or so hold eye contact. Step 8. Congratulations, you’re hired! Let me know if you have any questions :)
Tonight's special guest is Elona Washington from Charlotte, North Carolina, a returning NAASCA family member. She's a mother of two, a child sexual abuse survivor and an author. "I was 5 when I was first abused," Elona says. "I was raped by a cousin, a boy my grandmother took in because his mother was on drugs." She goes on, "I was subsequently sexually abused by my best friend's brother. After a year or so, he told me, 'If a boy wants to have sex with you, you're supposed to let him.' Shortly after, all of his friends started raping me too. The kids and the adults in the neighborhood knew about it but instead of getting me help, they accused me of being a ho/slut, etc." In high school she was promiscuous, and suffered from anorexia, suicide attempts, depression, anxiety, etc. Despite having had a child at 20, Elona was still able to get a college degree. "After I graduated I worked as an exotic dancer to make the money. But, I didn't leave for 5 years. I honestly felt more comfortable in the strip club than anywhere else." Then she married, but he was emotionally abusive and after another 5 years Elona had a nervous breakdown. She sought counseling and turned her life around. She's penned several books, including 'How Divorce Became My Deliverance' and '20 Beautiful Women.' Her latest, 'From Ivy League to Stripper Life: 10 Lessons Learned,' is part one of the story of her life. "Publishing the book is scary but I realize how necessary it is," she says, "not just for survivors but to also gain compassion and understanding from people who were never abused."
Happy Hour: The ladies catch up over vodka and tonics. Tasha talks about her close call with a shooting, while Khadijah tells the girls all about her first therapy session. They also discuss the talk Tuesday topic of "Is it ok for a woman to propose to her man?" Ashley, Tasha, Kiaya, and Khadijah all seem to have the same opinion around this question. Shaken NOT Stirred: This week's special guest is author, writer, and public speaker Elona Washington. Elona has an Amazon best selling book "From Ivy League to Stripper Life". The ladies explore the topic of Promiscuity with Elona. Many women go through a "Hoe Phase" or a promiscuous time in their lives. Elona shares her story and her own experience with being promiscuous. The ladies want to get a deeper look into promiscuity. So many are quick to call a woman a hoe or "slut shame" but overlook what she has gone through in her life that may have caused her to become promiscuous. As always, it is none of your business BUT we're gonna talk about it anyway!
