Loki survives the explosion, but everyone else has vanished and the TVA headquarters spaghettifies. Loki escapes as he begins time slipping again, taking him to the branched timelines where his friends Mobius, Hunter B-15, Casey and O.B. were reset to their original lives as Don, Dr. Verity Willis, Frank Morris and Dr. A.D. Doug respectively. Wanting to time slip to before the explosion, Loki enlists Doug's help. With Loki unable to control his time slipping, Doug proposes Loki gather everyone present at the explosion back together so that their collective temporal aura can send them back to the right time and place. Doug builds a TemPad using a TVA Guidebook that Loki kept. Loki succeeds in gathering everyone else to Doug's workshop except Sylvie, who has retained her memories. Refusing to help, Sylvie gets Loki to admit his true motivation: he wants his friends back and fears being alone. When everything in Sylvie's timeline spaghettifies, she goes to help Loki. However, Doug's workshop also spaghettifies, as do Frank, Doug, Don, Willis and Sylvie. Loki finally controls his time slipping by focusing on a person. Declaring that he can "rewrite the story", Loki time slips to before the explosion by focusing on O.B.

In a decisive move, Marvel Studios has already put together a new creative team for Daredevil: Born Again. Dario Scardapane of Netflix's The Punisher and Amazon's Jack Ryan is officially the showrunner while Moon Knight and Loki season two co-directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorehead are stepping up to take charge of the remaining episodes of Daredevil. The show will be an amalgamation of previously shot scenes and episodes as well as new content written by Scardapane. Previous directors Chris Ord and Matt Corman will stay on as executive producers. While in the past we were told the show would have 19 episodes, that now seems unclear according to The Hollywood Reporter. In a guerrilla marketing move, the official Loki Instagram account became a blank slate following this week's fourth episode of the second season. The menacing Miss Minutes has taken over the account in the meantime with only one post: a short video of her telling us how it is on an inactive TemPad…and that means access is denied! There's also a mid-season trailer out and spoilers ABOUND. The internet might truly melt down with the announcement that Henry Cavill is set to play the legendary sword-wielding Scot in the Lionsgate Highlander reboot. John Wick director Chad Stahelski will be the man behind the camera for the film and Mike Finch has penned the current screenplay draft. Though just off his final season of The Witcher, Cavill has been working at a breakneck pace with Argylle and two Guy Ritchie projects currently in post-production. Universal and Blumhouse's Five Nights at Freddy's opened to a record-smashing $78 million dollars domestically and $131 million dollars worldwide, despite debuting simultaneously on sister streaming service Peacock. This is the biggest horror opening of 2023 to date, besting Scream VI. The upcoming three Doctor Who specials, which will feature the return of David Tennant as the Doctor and Catherine Tate as Donna Temple-Noblewill roll out over three weeks beginning Nov. 25 — two days after the actual 60th anniversary of Doctor Who‘s first ever episode. The specials will stream on Disney+ worldwide with the exception of the U.K. and Ireland, where they'll air on the BBC. Disney+ has also released a new trailer for the specials. A New York judge has ruled that actor Jonathan Majors must face trial on domestic abuse charges begining on November 29th. It was also revealed that the defense has filed a new motion under seal that seeks to keep details related to an undisclosed “evidentiary matter” shielded from public view. Apple TV+ is upping its price from the previous monthly fee of $6.99 to a now standard rate of $9.99. Director David Yates has given an update on the Fantastic Beasts Harry Potter spin off franchise, which halted after three of its five planned films were released. Quote: “With Beasts for a minute, it's all just parked,” Yates told the Inside Total Film podcast. “We got to the end of the third film and we're all so proud of that movie, and when it went out into the world, we just needed to sort of stop and pause, and take it easy.” Last week, Disney announced it is delaying the release of its live-action Snow White movie starring Rachel Zegler by a year to March of 2025 and released a first image of Snow White and the seven dwarves. Pixar's Elio has also been pushed back by more than a year to June of 2025. Disney and Searchlight have also removed Magazine Dreams starring Jonathan Majors from the December 2023 calendar most likely due to Major's legal situation. Netflix has announced a new adult animation limited series Carol & The End of the World which stars Martha Kelly as a woman facing the apocalypse. The series was created by Rick and Morty and Community writer Dan Guterman.

There, they see Victor Timely, a variant of He Who Remains, presenting his Loom Prototype.[a] It is revealed that before his demise, He Who Remains sent Miss Minutes and Renslayer to 1868, where they would drop the TVA Manual for a young Timely to find. Timely then has three groups chasing after him: Loki and Mobius, who want to use his aura to fix the Loom; Renslayer and Miss Minutes, who want Timely to take his variant's place with them at his side, and Sylvie, who wants to kill him to prevent his rise to power. After Sylvie corners Timely, she allows Loki to take him back to the TVA, then sends Renslayer and Miss Minutes to the Citadel at the End of Time, where they see He Who Remains' corpse. Miss Minutes reveals that she knows a secret about Renslayer.

Casey is able to track Renslayer's TemPad on one of the remaining branches. Along with Karen Page & Brett Mahoney, they find Detective Hoffman & use his testimony against Fisk. Meanwhile, Leland Owsley admits to Fisk that the accountant & Madame Gao poisoned Vanessa. Fisk immediately murders Owlsley, then finds himself scrambling as the FBI rounds up his associates. In a last ditch show of commitment, Fisk proposes to Vanessa, who accepts without reservation. Fisk is arrested, but escapes the prison transport. Matt, in his new suit of body armor, hunts down Fisk. The two have a bloody showdown, which ends with Matt leaving a beaten Fisk in Mahoney's custody. “Daredevil” is touted as a hero in the papers as Fisk is incarcerated. Wilson Fisk is losing control as stressors converge: Wesley is dead, Vanessa is alive but still in danger, and now his mother is in someone's crosshairs. On a tip from Ben Urich, Matt discovers the headquarters of Madame Gao's drug operation & burns it down, but Gao escapes to flee the country. Meanwhile, Fisk gets more suspicious of his accountant, Leland Owlsley. A broken & defeated Matt finally realizes that he can't take down Fisk alone & bands together with Karen. But Matt's epiphany is too late to save Ben Urich, who is brutally murdered by Wilson Fisk in retribution for visiting Fisk's mother. But unbeknownst to Matt, Fisk is laying a trap for the devil of Hell's Kitchen. In a bold move, Matt visits the art gallery where a now publicly known Vanessa works. But his reconnaissance plan is cut short when Fisk himself shows up. After a brief but tense first encounter, a furious, terrified Matt flees the gallery. And the tension only increases after Fisk has Mrs. Cardenas killed. Racked with guilt, Matt falls into Fisk's trap while pursuing the killer, as Foggy & Karen drown their own guilt at the bar. Matt is sliced to ribbons by Nobu before managing to set the warrior ablaze. But Fisk & his men are waiting in the shadows, and a showdown ensues between Kingpin & the devil. Matt manages to escape before Fisk's goons can shoot him. Against Matt's wishes, Stick kills a special child. This leads to an epic fight in which the two destroy Matt's apartment & Matt orders Stick out of New York. Meanwhile, Karen Page & Ben Urich are still pursuing the Union Allied story. And after saving Karen from a goon attack, Foggy is finally made a member of their secret crusader club. Meanwhile, Foggy remains in the hospital with Karen, where he's being treated for a serious shrapnel wound. And outside the warehouse now surrounded by cops, Ben Urich is digging further into the bombings around Hell's Kitchen. With a little virtual assistance from Claire Temple, Matt keeps Vladimir alive long enough to get the name of Wilson Fisk's money man, Leland Owlsley. Via walkie-talkie, Matt has his first conversation with the Kingpin himself, at which point Matt finally understands how overmatched he is in the fight for the soul of Hell's Kitchen. Making a last stand, Vladimir facilitates Matt's escape through the tunnels, but he is in more trouble than when the standoff began. Matt identifies several dirty cops that Fisk has on his payroll & elicits a series of addresses from one of them. Meanwhile, Fisk and Vanessa are having a second try at a first date. While those two are getting closer, Matt & Claire go their separate ways. And Matt's way leads him straight into a trap Fisk has laid to take out the Russians and the masked vigilante making his life difficult. Bombs explode throughout Hell's Kitchen, with Foggy, Karen, and Mrs. Cardenas caught in the crossfire. He tasks henchman John Healy to publicly murder a rival mobster & endure a sham trial. Under Fisk's orders, Wesley recruits Nelson & Murdock to represent Healy, giving Matt the opportunity to learn more about Fisk's plans. A scared & frustrated Karen is being pressured to sign another non-disclosure agreement by Union Allied attorneys, while reporter Ben Urich is digging deeper into the company. Despite Matt's best efforts, Fisk successfully taints the jury to secure a mistrial for Healy. Matt later finds & tortures Healy, who reluctantly divulges Fisk's name to the masked vigilante. But out of fear of retribution from Fisk, Healy kills himself in a brutal fashion. While they're drinking, Matt's busy dying in a dumpster. He's found by ER nurse and good Samaritan Claire Temple, who patches up the masked vigilante in her apartment. Matt was beaten after falling into a trap laid by the Russians, who are in cahoots with Union Allied. The Russians had kidnapped a young boy to lure Matt in and kill him. Matt fell for the gambit, but escaped alive. Unfortunately, the Russians tracked him back to Claire's apartment. Matt manages to incapacitate the goon, and with Claire's invaluable assistance, tortures him for information while Foggy & Karen enjoy their drunken revelry practically right next door.  Matt rescues the boy in the most epic manner possible, and the Russians scramble to appease a very annoyed Wilson Fisk.    Daredevil is the launch point for the Netflix universe of Marvel shows. Matt Murdock is a freshly sworn lawyer by day and a masked vigilante by night. He also happens to be blind - kind of. Matt & his long-suffering legal partner, Foggy Nelson, get embroiled in a fishy murder case involving Karen Page. She's being targeted by her employer, Union Allied, the corporate big bad of this season. Several attempts are made on Karen's life, but the “devil of Hell's Kitchen” saves her, and Karen exposes a major Union Allied scandal. Matt & Foggy hire a very grateful Karen as the secretary at their fledgling law firm, Nelson & Murdock. On this episode of the FHP, we discuss the third episode of the Disney + series, Loki. Having followed the Loki variant through a portal, Loki finds himself back at the TVA as the variant tries to locate the Time Keepers. Using a TemPad to escape Judge Renslayer's attempts to prune them, the Lokis find themselves on planet Lamentis, whose destruction is imminent, judging by the planet that is on a slow collision course. Loki and the variant - who goes by the name Sylvie - learn a little about each other as they attempt to find a way to get off of the planet before it is destroyed. However, things don't quite go the way they planned, and even as Loki picks up a few new magic tricks, it seems to be not enough to save them. Oh, and Sylvie also divulges to Loki that the TVA is made up of variants that were stolen from the Sacred Timeline. Oops. After being pruned by Ravonna Renslayer, Loki is transported to The Void at the end of time. There he meets four other variants of himself: Classic Loki, Kid Loki, Boastful Loki, and Alligator Loki. They explain that The Void is where the TVA dumps entire pruned timelines, and there is no escape. They are trapped there by a monster called Alioth who feeds on the pruned realities. Meanwhile, Sylvie tries to get answers out of Judge Renslayer, who is in cahoots with Miss Minutes to stop Sylvie. Trapped in the courtroom by hunters and convinced there's something beyond The Void, Sylvie prunes herself. In The Void, she is picked up by Mobius.    Loki struggles to enlist the other Lokis to help him defeat Alioth and get back to the TVA to help Sylvie. But after a debacle with President Loki & other variants, Classic Loki and Kid Loki agree to help. Eventually, they meet up with Mobius and Sylvie, who determines that enchanting Alioth is the best way to get past the monster and into whatever is beyond The Void. With the unexpected help of Classic Loki, and empowered by their new bond and growth, Loki and Sylvie successfully enchant Alioth, giving them a clear path to a fortress that lies beyond The Void. Mobius uses the TemPad to go back to the TVA and deal with the enigmatic Judge Renslayer, who has Hunter B15 locked away.    Loki is Marvel's third Disney+ show, continuing Phase 4 of the MCU. Here we are... one episode away. Everyone is getting together at the end of time. But seems you can still escape with a TemPad. One of those could rescue a lot of these folks, it seems. It's not perfect but it gets us where we need to go. Speaking of partying at the end of time, that is one of the main plotlines in this week's Rick and Morty. It's just an OK episode and there may actually be a social critique somewhere under there but you have to really dig to find it. I also review The Tomorrow War and Fear Street 1984 (mostly spoiler free) but I am mixed to negative on Tomorrow War and VERY negative on the first Fear Street film. While awaiting certain death on Lamentis, Loki and Sylvie somehow create a Nexus event that alerts Agent Mobius and Hunter B15 to their location. On Ravonna Renslayer's orders, Loki and Sylvie are apprehended and brought back to the Time Variance Authority as prisoners. But the TVA is beginning to show cracks. Hunter B15 is shaken by the memories she saw during Sylvie's enchantment, while Mobius presses Renslayer for information and access to Hunter C20. Renslayer stonewalls Mobius, informing him that C20 is dead. Mobius then has another round of interrogation with Loki, who has been doing some important introspection in an unpleasant time loop. Mobius recognizes Loki's feelings for Sylvie, and Loki is finally honest and forthcoming with Mobius, whom he'd considered a friend. Loki tells Mobius he and the rest of the TVA employees are all prisoner variants, and Mobius immediately investigates this claim. After a tense confrontation with Renslayer, Mobius steals her TemPad and discovers the truth about Hunter C20 and the TVA. Mobius and Loki finally ally, but before they can work together, Renslayer has Mobius pruned. Meanwhile, Hunter B15 has partnered with Sylvie after the Goddess of Mischief showed B15 the life that was stolen from her. Renslayer takes Loki and Sylvie to be pruned by the Timekeepers, but B15 intervenes. Together, Loki, Sylvie, and B15 take down Renslayer and her Minutemen, only to discover that the Timekeepers are just robots. As a devastated Sylvie and Loki try to come to terms with this revelation, Renslayer prunes Loki. Rather than prune Renslayer in kind, Sylvie keeps her alive for answers. With the TemPad device out of power, Loki and Sylvie must find a way to charge the TemPad and escape Lamentis-1 before it is destroyed, without also killing each other in the process. Along the way, they learn more about each other's pasts, developing mutual respect and, ultimately, trust. When the TemPad is broken, Loki and Sylvie plan to hijack the evacuation vessel to escape the dying moon. Today Chris and Daniel recap episode 3 of Loki. The Variant arrives at the TVA and attempts to find the Time-Keepers, followed by Loki, who uses a TemPad to teleport them both away and escape from Renslayer. They arrive at 2077 Lamentis-1, a moon that is soon to be crushed by a planet, and the TemPad runs out of power. Loki magically hides it, and the Variant, who goes by the alias Sylvie, agrees to work with him to charge it. They sneak aboard a train bound for the ark, an evacuation spaceship, which they believe can recharge the TemPad. Loki gets drunk and draws attention to them, leading to a fight with guards who throw him off the train. Sylvie follows him, only to find the TemPad broken, and the duo decide to finish the journey on foot and commandeer the ark so they can use it to escape. Sylvie reveals that the TVA's workers are all variants and were not created by the Time-Keepers as Mobius claimed. Loki and Sylvie fight their way through guards and a crowd of people attempting to board the ark. Before they get there, meteors from the oncoming planet destroy the ark.

Ali Episode Directed By: Kate Herron After interrogating Hunter C-20 for information on the Timekeepers, the Variant arrives at the Time Variance Authority headquarters to complete her mission, closely followed by Loki. He proposes a team up but the variant refuses. When Judge Renslayer confronts them Loki uses a TemPad to take them both out of the perilous situation but into an apocalyptic situation on Lamentis-1. With the TemPad out of power they are stuck on Lamentis-1 which is due to be destroyed by a dying moon. With meteors falling and gravity quakes becoming more frequent they need to charge the TemPad to escape the apocalypse. As they try to find a power source for the pad the Variant tells Loki she goes by the alias of Sylvie and she's been running from the TVA her whole life. She also reveals that the Minutemen are all variants stolen from their time and made work for the Time Variance Authority. After a run in with a lady and her big blaster, Loki and Sylvie sneak their way onto a train reserved only for the wealthy to get to the planet's evacuation vessel - the Ark - the only power source powerful enough to charge the TemPad. During their journey Loki gets drunk and is thrown from the train closely followed by Sylvie but the TemPad is broken in the fall. Their only hope now is to hijack the Ark that is shipping survivors from the planet to escape the apocalypse. Loki and Sylvie fight their way to the planetary escape vehicle but are unable to make it through the crowd in time. Their only option is to watch on as the Ark is cut in half by a falling meteorite as the moon begins it's final descent towards to planet Lamentis-1. Ali Episode Directed By: Kate Herron After interrogating Hunter C-20 for information on the Timekeepers, the Variant arrives at the Time Variance Authority headquarters to complete her mission, closely followed by Loki. He proposes a team up but the variant refuses. When Judge Renslayer confronts them Loki uses a TemPad to take them both out of the perilous situation but into an apocalyptic situation on Lamentis-1. With the TemPad out of power they are stuck on Lamentis-1 which is due to be destroyed by a dying moon. With meteors falling and gravity quakes becoming more frequent they need to charge the TemPad to escape the apocalypse. As they try to find a power source for the pad the Variant tells Loki she goes by the alias of Sylvie and she's been running from the TVA her whole life. She also reveals that the Minutemen are all variants stolen from their time and made work for the Time Variance Authority. After a run in with a lady and her big blaster, Loki and Sylvie sneak their way onto a train reserved only for the wealthy to get to the planet's evacuation vessel - the Ark - the only power source powerful enough to charge the TemPad. During their journey Loki gets drunk and is thrown from the train closely followed by Sylvie but the TemPad is broken in the fall. Their only hope now is to hijack the Ark that is shipping survivors from the planet to escape the apocalypse. Loki and Sylvie fight their way to the planetary escape vehicle but are unable to make it through the crowd in time. Their only option is to watch on as the Ark is cut in half by a falling meteorite as the moon begins it's final descent towards to planet Lamentis-1.
