The boys re-cap the Anthony Weaver news before diving deep into the shit-tastic topic of Special Teams. Danny Crossman remains the ST Coach, but should he? Our punter was awful, the kicker made us have diarrhea and the coverage teams were absolutely awful. But Braxton Berrios was pretty good...too bad he is leaving. In other words, Miami has a lot of work to do to make this black hole of a unit into a shing beacon of hope and light. Sam and Chris discuss and try to sort it all out on this very sticky episode of Perfectville. Enjoy and Welcome To Perfectville
We had so much to say about Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire that we needed two episodes and an extra person to do it! If you haven't listened to Part One, we recommend going back and listening to last week's episode before listening to this one. This was recommended to us by The Good Witch of the Northeast, who made time to float in on a bubble to be our special guest for this two-part episode. In addition to our usual barnyard language, today's episode includes discussion or mention of: ableism, pregnancy, parental abuse, racism, sex, & sexual assault.
Hour 3 – The Drive celebrated two notable anniversaries in the history of the NFL and sports world.
The Dallas Stars fall to the St. Louis Blues by the final score of 2-1 last night out of Christmas break. Jason Robertson scored the lone goal for Dallas off a pass from Roope Hintz. Scott Wedgewood was phenomenal especially on the penalty kill, but Joel Hofer for St. Louis made 39 saves to hand Dallas a lost. The show opens with Joey's main takeaways from the game which include the Stars were the better team for the majority of the contest, but once again fall into a two nothing hole. Eventually, it will catch up to you and it did last night even though they out-chanced the Blues 31-11 in the game. The game was open and not as physical as expected so both sides had good looks offensively and one goalie was just a bit better. The 2nd segment praises the incredible PK for the Stars that once again killed off an entire 2 minute 5 on 3 and double minor consecutively to keep them in the game heading into the 3rd period. Jani Hakanpaa and Esa Lindell have been outstanding as almost an exclusive duo on the penalty kill and went 4-for-4 yesterday. The final segment dissects a power play that has gone bone dry, they are now 0-for-16 and have not scored in five straight games. Their entries have been the main point of interest for Joey who speculates they've struggled to find open ice and generate off the rush as of late. They are getting shots through which is a silver lining, but are having trouble being connected as a unit most nights.Follow Joey on Twitter: twitter.com/joeythejet19Follow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms…

Canada's Got Talent (CGT): Season Two is off and running! The show's on-air team, judges Howie Mandel, Lilly Singh, Trish Stratus, and Kardinal Offishall, and host Lindsey Ell are back, looking for Canada's best talent. The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast is grateful to CGT for welcoming back some of my favorite acts who impressed me during the Judges' Auditions. Magician Atsushi Ono is the third act to visit The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast. Born in 1979 in Kyoto, Japan, Atsushi first became fascinated by magic as an elementary school student after seeing magic performed on television. He practiced alone for years until a chance encounter in 2002. While he studied in the United States, Atsushi met professional magicians Tom Frank and Tobias Pashia, who invited Atsushi to study under them. Their mentoring forever changed Atsushi Ono's approach to magic. His abilities not only earned Atsushi awards and the respect of his colleagues but also made him one of the most entertaining, funny, and -yes- magical performers you will ever see. Following his return to Japan, he held an exclusive engagement nearly seven days a week for two years at French Drop in Osaka, one of Japan's top magic theater bars.Looking to broaden his horizons, in 2008, Atsushi Ono moved to Canada and began creating a series of original acts. Atsushi Ono received numerous awards, including second place and the 2009 People's Choice Award at the Society of American Magicians in Buffalo, NY. That same year, he won the People's Choice Award at the International Brotherhood of Magicians convention in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010, he was invited to perform at the most renowned FFFF convention (Fecher's Finger Flicking Frolic), the most prestigious gathering of close-up magicians worldwide. He now resides in and performs in Canada, the United States, and Japan. His relaxed charm, sense of humor, and creative approach to performing have made him a famous magician and entertainer who is equally at home performing at large events and up close for small groups. In this special Canada's Got Talent: Season Two edition of The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Atsushi Ono spoke about his audition, including his take on judge Kardinal Offishall walking off during the presentation. Canada's Got Talent airs on CityTV.

Lucky Lucky Me! I got to spend some of Super Bowl Sunday with my sister, Annie (who was cheering for Kansas City), and my East Coast Buddy Doug (who was cheering for Philly). And while KC came out on top of the actual football game, I definitely think I was the big winner on Sunday as the three of us hung out to talk about our favorite Football Films and TV Shows. This episode might surprise a few of you because some of the more traditional favorites in the world of football movies are not represented in our lists, but remember...this is a pop culture opinion show, and my co-hosts and I have ALOT of opinions!
