Today I'm joined by NYT Bestselling author, Georgia Hunter, to chat about her novel and its subsequent Hulu and Disney+ TV adaptation, "We Were The Lucky Ones". I binge watched all of "We Were The Lucky Ones" in one sitting. I then needed to devour the book. This television series and novel could be my favourite piece of media consumed this year. I immediately knew I had to sit down with the book's author, as well as TV series' writer and executive producer, Georgia Hunter to learn more about the genesis of this story, and adapting the book to screen. This is the story of one family's survival of the Holocaust, told in the most touching, real and raw way. I absolutely loved getting the chance to sit down with Georgia, who's a grandchild of one of the survivors, to learn more about the research that went into writing this book... and the devoting and work that went into adapting this novel in the most perfect 8-episode mini series.I was on the brink of crying throughout this whole episode. On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, Donald Trump won the Iowa caucus in a historic landslide, but what we are not hearing is that Nikki Haley completely failed. Haley is the great establishment ruling class hope in both the Republican and Democrat parties, who threw massive amounts of money to get behind her. The media today are doing things that the media 50 or 100 years ago would have never dreamed of, which is totalitarian journalism and a media class that has a great deal in common with state-run media in Iran, China, Russia, and all of the other genocidal regimes. They are there to promote and defend the centralized government and the political party that supports Marxist movements. The Democrat Party's racist segregationists are back, just in a different way than the Democrat Party did 100 years ago, and almost all of them are college graduates and in the media. Also, the former prime minister of Pakistan is in prison over bogus charges, which is exactly what the Democrat party wants to do to Trump to keep him out of the presidential election. The Democrat party does not care about the country or the people, but the power of the party and the ruling class elites. Later, Disney is quadrupling down on DEI, hiring Biden's chief diversity officer to destroy the Disney theme parks. They have destroyed Disneyland, Disneyworld, Disney movies, and Disney TV shows with this crackpot propaganda. As a filmmaker and TV presenter, he shares his passion for wildlife and conservation to the masses. His new series, "Animals Up Close" premieres this week on National Geographic and Disney TV+. More about Bertie Gregory from National Geographic HERE BERTIE GREGORY is a 28-year-old British wildlife filmmaker and National Geographic Explorer. His career began when a childhood obsession with nature led to winning the title of 'Youth Outdoor Photographer Of The Year.' After graduating with a degree in Zoology from the University of Bristol in 2014, he began assisting legendary National Geographic Magazine photographer Steve Winter. He has since produced and hosted 5 projects for National Geographic (‘Leopards at the Door', ‘Jaguar Vs Croc', ‘Wild_Life', ‘Resurrection Island' and 'The Big Freeze'). 'Resurrection Island' won "Best Television Host" at the 2019 Jackson Wild Awards - nature film's equivalent of the Oscars. Alongside his projects for National Geographic, Bertie films for the landmark BBC David Attenborough Series, 'Seven Worlds, One Planet,' and recently became one of BAFTA's youngest ever cinematography winners for this work. While retaining his leading-man looks, Josh Duhamel has branched out into writing and directing, having just piloted the ultra-raunchy comedy Buddy Games: Spring Awakening, which hits theaters today and VOD on June 2. (He also costars in the film.) But it doesn't take long to learn that he has an old-fashioned work ethic.
