Monday Morning Update, You Have Time...
You Have Time to Die and Go Broke by Linda Salerno-ForandThe healthcare system has turned into a giant labyrinth, which is extremely difficult to navigate. The thought of dealing with a serious or terminal illness is terrifying enough without having to go against the fortress of hospital administrators, health insurance companies and endless waits in doctor's queues just trying to get the care you need. But you can be empowered in learning how to deal with the complex healthcare system getting the best care possible without breaking the bank.Linda Salerno-Forand lives Massachusetts with her dog Rocky and is caregiver to her elderly mother. She was a caregiver to her mother-in-law, father-in-law, and husband. Her mother-in-in law and father-in-law died of dementia. Her husband died of Pulmonary Fibrosis during covid . This inspired her to write this book to help people get the best care they can dealing with a broken healthcare system.https://www.amazon.com/You.Have-Time-Die-Broke/dp/1669861023www.lsalernoforand.comwww.AuthorReputationPress.comhttp://www.bluefunkbroadcasting.com/root/twia/3724lsfarp.mp3
This week I have Kate Berski on the podcast she is a author and a recovered ‘30-phobic' and she's shedding some light on why we put so much pressure on ourselves to have it ‘all figured out' by 30. The house, the baby, the ring … there is so much we are RUSHING to do that we tend to forget to celebrate our small wins and live in the present moment. We chat about the damage that mindset can have and ways to overcome that kind of fear based thinking. This is the perfect episode to listen to if you are feeling like you aren't doing ‘enough'. This is a beautiful reminder that indeed you are exactly where you need to be and YOU HAVE TIME! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Welcome to the You Have Time podcast, a short-form podcast focused on mindfulness and meditation with a new episode uploaded for you to listen to every Tuesday morning. I'm Fran, your friendly mindfulness guru. Today's episode acts as a guide to help inspire you to follow your own path to success and will give you practical steps to help you on your transformative journey. Let's dive right in…. The first step you want to take in following your own path to success is to take a moment to define your success. What does success mean to you? What are your core values, passions, and aspirations? How do they continue to show up for you and define you as a person? Reflect on this and incorporate your mindful journaling practice by journaling about success, how you define it, and where you've experienced it. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/youhavetimepodcast/support
Welcome to You Have Time podcast, a space dedicated to supporting your journey of self-discovery and inner growth. In today's episode, we'll explore the theme of loneliness and delve into mindful journaling prompts that can help you deepen your understanding of loneliness, nurture connection within, and cultivate a sense of belonging. Loneliness is a universal human experience, and by mindfully exploring it, we can find new perspectives and possibilities for personal transformation. I will guide you through a journaling practice today to help you explore these possibilities for personal transformation. You can take each segment or prompt of today's episode and write them over the course of days or all at once if you have plenty of time for self-reflection. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/youhavetimepodcast/support
Welcome to the You Have Time podcast, a short-form podcast uploaded every Tuesday aimed at helping you adopt mindfulness practices into your everyday life. My name is Fran and I'm your guide in all things mindfulness and meditation. Today's episode is the 2nd episode in a 2 part series about overthinking. This episode features a meditation while the previous episode features mindful journaling prompts to bring us outside of our heads and back into the present. As we discussed in last week's episode, Overthinking is the act of dwelling on thoughts, ideas, or problems for an extended period of time. It can lead to anxiety, stress, and even depression. Mindfulness is the practice of being present, aware, and non-judgmental of our thoughts and experiences. By practicing mindfulness, we can learn to recognize when we are overthinking and shift our focus back to the present moment, reducing stress and anxiety. One way that we can practice mindfulness is by practicing meditation. Meditation has several benefits that I've elaborated on in previous episodes, such as breathing to take a break, body scan to relief tension, and reducing anxiety overall. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/youhavetimepodcast/support

Welcome to the You Have Time podcast, a podcast to help you become your best self by adopting mindfulness and meditation practices. Today's episode serves as a reminder that it is never too late to do what your heart desires. Over the last 6 months, I've been working hard to grow my YouTube channel, to create content that is related to another niche, food. I prepare nourishing meals and treats that help me to be my most optimal self throughout the workday. I also make an effort to explore different cuisines in Los Angeles. This is something I would do regardless of if I was recorded, and while it doesn't necessarily align with my goals for this podcast, I find that making this type of content makes me happy, and it's fun to gradually see myself improve every day. However, I didn't always have what I like to call a “go to grow” mindset. I often felt discouraged and even compared myself to other YouTubers in my niche, my region, and who created content similar to mine. I felt discouraged at times when my content didn't grow, and would even get on TikTok and felt even more discouraged, feeling like content and social media is a young person's game. BUT It's not. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/youhavetimepodcast/support

Podcast for #InspiredByTheWord Devotion for 7th July 2021 There are many Christians who say that 24 hours is not enough as their excuse for not giving much attention to the Word of God; but if you sit with them to review their use of 24 hours, you find that 4 hours was spent on Instagram/Snapchat/Tiktok, 2 hour 15 minutes on responding to WhatsApp chats, and 4 hours in traffic (especially for those in Lagos, Nigeria and major densely populated cities of the world). Dear Brother/Sister, YOU HAVE TIME; just set your priorities right. Read today's devotional article and see how to do so. God bless you.
