Today I have the pleasure of being joined by one of my very own clients, Emree Woods, Founder of Rightside Brewing, a non-alcoholic beer brand in Atlanta, GA. She could have never anticipated that her first pregnancy in 2017 would inspire a non-alcoholic beer brand. While not being able to drink during her pregnancy, she realized there were no authentic tasting non-alcoholic beer brands, only the big brands that had been around for seemingly forever. She saw an opportunity in the non-alcoholic brewing space for a great tasting craft option. Health and wellness were always a priority before and after her pregnancy, and drinking always seemed to contradict this lifestyle. Her entrepreneurial spirit was enveloped with the idea of a balanced, brighter life with no social sacrifices or stigmas around not drinking. Emree talks to us about her brand evolution from the first idea to the launch to then growing her brand and business. Alicia DeCastro, Founder of Fundati Coffee, closed one door at her corporate job in San Francisco only to open two more. After getting her yoga teacher training, she recognized the importance of implementing mindfulness exercises daily for even the non-yogis. She had always had a passion for coffee and the vacant space next to her yoga studio sparked an idea – can coffee brewing and grinding being a meditative experience? From there the ideas and actionable steps led her to where she is now. Fundati has evolved into a virtual movement of people recognizing that simple, mundane rituals such as making coffee can be meditative. The Rhode Island location customizes your coffee experience right down to the bean which they grind in front of you. To support Fundati you can help give them a boost as they open by ordering coffee beans on their website or stopping in if you are in the Rhode Island area! Another awesome way to support their mission is to follow Fundati on Facebook and Instagram.
