The Juke In The Back podcast is an absolute gem for anyone who appreciates real and pure music. Hosted by the legendary Matt the Cat, this podcast takes listeners on a journey back in time to the golden era of Rhythm and Blues. The show not only features excellent music but also provides fascinating background history on the artists, adding depth and context to each song.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is the selection of music. Matt the Cat has an incredible talent for curating a playlist that captures the essence of 40s and 50s R&B. Each episode is filled with timeless classics and hidden gems that will make any true fan of this music jump up and dance. The passion and knowledge that Matt brings to each episode is evident, and his ability to tell stories about these artists adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the listening experience.

Unfortunately, one of the worst aspects of this podcast is that it is no longer available on XM radio. Many loyal fans were disappointed when XM merged with Sirius and Matt's show was discontinued. However, thanks to iTunes, fans can now enjoy Juke In The Back as a podcast. This makes it more accessible and convenient for listeners, but it still remains a shame that such a fantastic show isn't given more air time or recognition.

In conclusion, The Juke In The Back podcast is a must-listen for anyone who loves Rhythm and Blues from the 40s and 50s. Matt the Cat's extensive knowledge, passion, and love for this music shine through in every episode. Whether you're discovering these classic songs for the first time or reliving memories from your youth, this podcast will transport you back to a time when music was real and pure. Keep rockin' that rhythm and blues!
