"Hello! I'm a student at Harvard pursuing a special degree across five fields - robotics, computer science, philosophy, mathematics, and organismic/evolutionary biology. These come together under my project by attempting to apply ways of thinking about nature to the way we think about robots." - Henry Cerbone Henry is a deep thinker so it was a pleasure speaking with him about: religion as an epistemic teddy bear, the epic paper titled: Posits and Reality (https://cdn.preterhuman.net/texts/science_and_technology/Quine%20W.V.%20-%20Posits%20and%20Reality.pdf) and if engineers and computer scientists are properly using nature to inform robotics. Hope you enjoy. I work really hard on these so please consider subscribing. Thanks.
Adam Green is the director of the Lab for Relational Cognition and Provost's Distinguished Associate Professor at Georgetown University. Dr. Pallav Kosuri received his Ph.D from Columbia, his PostDoc from Harvard, and completed his thesis at CERN. Now he works at the Salk Institute in La Jolla working in a field called DNA Origami. If you have never heard of it, you are in for a wild ride. Essentially, they are constructing nano-scale devices made from DNA to measure previously unseen molecular motion with an almost infinite array of applications. 0:00 Introduction 8:30 The Silos of Science are Destructive 11:40 A Necessary Biology Review 23:00 Resurrecting Mammoths 32:45 The Road to Modern DNA Origami 40:00 DNA Origami Applications 53:15 Current Work
"Simulation is a modern day religion" ∞ This is what a conversation can sound like. People with different perspectives fiercely trying to get their point across while simultaneously listening to what the other person is saying. This is chaotic, but I think a few halfway decent points were made. I hope you enjoy
General Sentiment: If you invested in people like you invest in stocks I would be extremely bullish on Tian Shi. Favorite Quote: "Time is a F*ing Currency" Board topics covered: VC, BIOTECH, & ASSESSING TALENT Thanks for listening. I hope you enjoy!
Cyber attacks have advanced rapidly along with the rest of technology. From flooding the SSA website with bots and crashing the system to the Solar Winds attack on the US Government by Russia, Cyber Attacks are now a huge problem for everyone. Clifton is a PHD student at Northeastern studying network security, recently studying the feasibility of implementing deep learning solutions to prevent attacks. The conversation can roughly divided into a first and second half. First, we discussed Clifton's work and the specifics of different cyber attacks. Second, we discussed the problems and possibilities of exploding technological innovation. Will we be able to build consciousness? Clifton doesn't want to find out. I kinda do.
how to run a successful business? treat your people well, have a SINGLE aim, & empower others + so much more. I hope you enjoy!
Third podcast with Andro. Today we discussed (in the order I remember): Andro's Startups Consciousness Psychedelics sauna, cold, breathing, meditation, journalling Hierarchies Jordan Peterson Sleep Hemp as a tool for Carbon Capture value systems, aims, goals alchemy --- Science --- MAX DEPTH Venture Capital ... I sincerely hope you guys enjoy.
Evan Zimmerman founded Mighty Mug, a massively successful consumer product company in his teens, graduated from UChicago and Berkeley Law, invests in early stage technology companies through his investment vehicle Jovono, and is currently breaking into the biotech space with his company Drift Biotechnology. We discussed a wide range of topics that were applicable to success in business, life, and beyond. We discussed the skills needed as an investor, how to best succeed as a student/what you should really focus on in college, and the changes that should be made to bring about a better world.
sorry the audio sucks, also, Idk how to format the title of my show to make it consistent
3 2 1 ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, aliens and dmt entities alike tuning in welcome to MAX DEPTH joining us today we have Dr. Michael Frank. director of the Carney Center for Computational Brain Science at brown university and current professor teaching computational cognitive neuroscience Prof. Frank thank you for joining us today for reference, this podcast is my personal journey of investigation and inquiry into reality and consciousness—made public. the research I conduct is focused more on the subjective dissection of self consciousness, leaning more towards ontology, while trying to adhere to the scientific method. my goal is to extract meaningful and actionable solutions out of philosophical investigation from what i have seen, we are both attempting to understand the foundations of ourselves, what makes us tick, what motivates us, and i am particularly fascinated in your work because it is so much more empirical and objective than mine and you have been at it for so much longer. this parallel investigation of ours seems collide in terms of our overall end goal, to extract practical applications from our research. mine to lead a more meaningful life, and yours, if i may speak for you, to build better artificial intelligence systems and solve problems relating to neurological disorders such as schizophrenia, degenerative disorders such as Parkinson's, and understanding the complexity of decision making.
Listen to this one. 2am convo with Molly Mai and Jordi. I HOPE YOU ENJOY!!!
An EPIC conversation with Michael Silverstein-Bode. This conversation sets the bar for how deep MAX DEPTH can go. A pleasure. One of the most important conversations I have ever had.

Short ramblings... enjoy. appreciate everyone.
This is a podcast. It's raw, unedited, unpolished—I'm not making these videos for Everyone—like Nietzsche, I am writing to...
This is a conversation recorded between myself and a kind, new friend of mine named Andro. He shares a lot of my views and I enjoy talking with him a lot. This is our second conversation; the other file I can't access. If anyone is listening, I hope you enjoy. More coming soon!
This is a ten minute clip from last night. I really enjoy talking to people. this was part of a much longer, cooler conversation. thanks
Welcome to Max Depth!!In this episode, I spoke with Tatum Parr Carreiro, a sensible and humble tech wizard and friend, who cares deeply about bettering the lives of other people. We discussed the role mentors play in shaping who we become, the ways in which technology, specifically increasingly better deep neural networks and artificial intelligence algorithms, will change the world, as well as fitness, social media, and religion. This conversation left me inspired to be a better version of myself, and I hope it does the same for you.
