At the age of 20, Shon was introduced to a book that would go on to change his life. After reading the E-Myth by Michael Gerber, Shon became committed to systematizing the process of helping home buyers.  This commitment to systemizing his process led Shon to consistently close over 100 buyer sales per year, year after year with just one assistant helping him. The system’s Shon employed created a consistent and predictable result resulting in a very streamlined and positive buying experience for his clients. Shon’s early success with his real estate business ultimately led him to found his own mortgage, title, land development and home building company outside his hometown of Denver CO.   After creating 6 streams of income from his real estate business Shon’s business experienced some real challenges as the recession of 2008 took it’s toll on him.   These changes ultimately led to Shon finding his true calling and purpose of helping others through coaching and training.  This shift in his business ultimately led to the creation of MAPS Coaching and Business Mastery and the creation of some of the most successful and impactful coaching companies within all of the real estate industry. Shon and ICON Coaching’s believe that Any Goal is Accomplishable, provided you have the right plan.  Shon’s methodology consists of three crucial components to success. ETA:  Expectations - Targets - Actions Know what you want and having specific clarity around that.  Expectation is a better word for Goal. Target:  A interim expectation that is measurable yet it is not grounded in a single type action. Actions:  Identify what actions are required to hit the target. Shon goes onto share. the single thing that determines ones success in sales your ability to remain relevant.  The easiest way to remain relevant  is your ability to add value to your database and position yourself in the mind of everybody within your sphere of influence.   The easiest way to build trust, rapport and loyalty is through education. Amy’s career began working for a new home builder in Arizona while attending college.  It was at the builder, she learned several incredibly valuable skills and began to find her calling within the real estate industry.  Amy specialized in helping the builder with their marketing, social media and graphic design work.  Amy’s “dive right in and make it happen” attitude began to immediately create new and exciting opportunities for her. Amy’s career started to evolve as she and her husband began having children.  She left the builder and started her own graphic design company.  It was through her work in graphic design that she began to learn how to market herself through social media platforms, specifically Instagram. Amy uses Instagram to sell the story of Home.  In this episode you will learn how Amy uses Instagram to connect with her audience and share real stories of how people use their home. Several years later, Amy was asked to consult with a new home builder and help them re-work their marketing.  It was here that Amy had an epiphany moment.  She realized how she could use her story of being a mother to connect with people through Instagram and “sell the story of home!” Using this approach through Instagram, while having 3 kids a home and her 4th child on the way, Amy was able to over $100,000 through her real estate business in just her first year, all while working just 10 hours per week!  WOW! While learning about the business of real estate, Amy quickly realized that real estate is a business of relationships.  Instagram is a platform that allows Amy to build relationships, at scale, and connect with her audience. Amy uses Instagram the same way others use networking events to connect and build relationships.  She explains, “Instagram is just like going to a cocktail party.  You may meet people at the party; however, in order to move that relationship, forward and ultimately do business with people you have to take the relationship off the app and connect in real life.” With all of Amy’s success using Instagram as a marketing platform, she began having people from all around reach out to her and ask if she could help them do the same.  This inspired Amy to create “The Real Deal” coaching platform which she uses to coach and train others on leveraging social media to attract their ideal client.  Her program teaches people the framework for success on social media; how to post, what to post and how often to post. The lessons Jim learned from the struggles of the 2008 recession taught him valuable business lessons which have allowed him to grow at extraordinary rates following the challenging time.   The quintessential moment in his career stemmed from the fear he experienced in the 2008 recession.  Jim explains how the painful time helped him make the decision to operate from a place of confidence rather than a place of fear.   Jim explains that one of his super powers is his energy.  “Energy is contagious and something you can share.  Jim explains that energy is a commodity that can be shared with everybody around him.   He uses energy to hire the very best people to help provide the greatest experience for each of Quality Title’s customers.  Jim further explains that the number 1 charismatic that has helped him and Quality Title succeed is his Belief in himself.  Being willing to push all of his chips to the center of the table to make happen what he feels is right has paid dividends throughout the years.   “Do you suppress your fears and allow them to always remain a dream, OR do you push the fears aside and make it your reality.” On setting himself apart, the number one quality, Jim attributes to their growth and the success of their business is ALWAYS hiring the best people.  Jim explains how he always hires people that are more qualified for the job than he is.  “Hire talented and energetic people and let them do what they do!” Jim also shares wisdom that he has learned over his 23 year career that you MUST put in the work.  There are no short cuts and you must learn the skills needed to be successful and simply to put in the work to achieve your own definition of success. ---------------------------------------- Real Stories of Success Facebook   Connect with Austin: Facebook / Website / Email / 317.797.3619   Connect with Ryan: Facebook / Instagram / Website / Email / 317.509.7431

Jonathan McKinnies has served over 2,000 families during his lending career and is consistently the number #1 mortgage originator in South Bend!  Jonathan also is the hose of the podcast “Purpose and Performance” which is all about helping people find their purpose to help increase their performance. Jonathan’s purpose is to positively influence the people he has the opportunity serve. Jonathan has adopted the philosophy of serving not only his clients but also those within the mortgage industry.  In addition to leading his company, he also serves on the board of mortgage lenders by helping positively influence those within the industry to elevate the standards and objectives of everybody in the real estate business. Jonathan began in the mortgage industry back in 2006 while he was finishing his business degree at the University of South Bend.  He had family members working in the real estate business; however, after just 6 months into his career he was nearly in tears, feeling defeated and didn’t enjoy the “sales” game.  After the help of a mentor he began to shift his focus from being a “salesperson” to building relationships through establishing trust.  When momentum began to grow, Jonathan began implementing the philosophy of High Trust and establishing meaningful relationships with everybody he came across. Jonathan credits much of his success to his establishment of a strong morning routine, which consists of regular exercise, feeding his mind with positive reading, and prayer before beginning each day. “If you’re going to grow and really be successful you have to be willing to delegate and invest in hiring the right person to fill the role you need filled” Jonathan explains.  You have to build your business around a system vs. building it around a person.  You must have a system first before you plug somebody into the system. Jonathan has built an extraordinary business built around always finding ways to positively influence people.  ---------------------------------------- Real Stories of Success Facebook   Connect with Austin: Facebook / Website / Email / 317.797.3619   Connect with Ryan: Facebook / Instagram / Website / Email / 317.509.7431
