This week on the podcast, Kieran and I wrap up our series one coverage of Andor (and dance around not spoiling season two) with a discussion on the episodes 'Daughter of Ferrix' and 'Rix Road', which together make up the final arc of the season.

Here we go again! Paul, Kieran and I continue our Andor coverage by discussing the third arc in this show: the prison arc. That means we are talking about four episodes- 'Announcement', 'Narkina 5', 'Nobody's Listening!' and 'One Way Out'. 

Okay, in this episode Paul, Kieran and I continue our Andor coverage by discussing the second arc in this fantastic Star Wars show: the heist arc. This is comprised of three episodes: 'Aldhani', 'The Axe Forgets' and 'The Eye', so we talk about these episodes, the recent series two trailer, fascism, Only Fools and Horses - the usual. Oh, and we'll be back soon to talk about the prison arc!

Since we are fast approaching the release of season two of the show, Kieran, Paul and I finally sat down to talk about the fantastic Star Wars show, Andor. And since we really liked this show, we're going to take our sweet time discussing this bad boy, so this in this episode we only talk about the first three episodes ('Kassa', 'That Would Be Me' and 'Reckoning'), which make up the recruitment arc. We'll be back soon to talk about the heist arc!

Hello! Today on the show Kieran, Paul and I have a focused chat on the Holdo maneuver sequence from Rian Johnson's 'The Last Jedi'. It's a scene we were all big fans of when the film came out and remain so today, and there was a lot to chew on with this (one) perfect scene. Expect talk on the career of Laura Dern too!

I'm planning on doing a bunch of Star Wars coverage in 2025, so I figured why not kick off the year by re-releasing our Holiday Special episode, which Kieran, Paul and I recorded back in 2018 for the sister podcast Easy Riders Raging Podcast, as part of its 1970s series.

In this episode, Kieran and I continue our ongoing Star Wars coverage with a discussion on the recent Disney+ show, The Acolyte. We also try to take the pulse of what's going on with the franchise in general (which may have dated slightly since we recorded this because Lucasfilm is continually announcing/cancelling projects on a daily basis). 

Continuing our MCU coverage, this week Kieran and I discuss the latest Marvel show, Agatha All Along, and we have much to discuss, including the Young Avengers, the chances that the Scarlet Witch will return for more movies, why I should never be put in charge of a reality TV show, a programme no-one remembers except Kieran and me and much, much more.

An adventure 65 million years in the making!!! So, today I finally sat down and edited the conversation Kieran and I had about about Steven Spielberg's 'West Side Story' that we recorded way way back in May 2022. Apologies for taking so long to get to this but I hope you enjoy the conversation. This episode completes our trio of X-Men 'One Perfect Scene' episodes, as Kieran joins me to discuss the Quicksilver kitchen scene from 'X-Men: Days of Future Past', where Evan Peters plays a mutant speedster who runs around the room, soundtracked by Jim Croce's 'Time in a Bottle'. (Also, the name of the unnamed actor we talk about for a spell is Clark Duke)

This time around it's me and my good friend Kieran discussing the scene where Erik Lensher (played by Michael Fassbender) goes to Argentina and wrecks shop in a sleepy pub, from Matthew Vaughn's 'X-Men: First Class'.

This week- ahead of the release of 'Deadpool and Wolverine', I've returned to the One Perfect Scene format for this solo chat on the opening to 'X2' (AKA X-Men 2),  which sees Nightcrawler (played by Alan Cumming) attack the White House.

Okay, when I open this episode with "Recorded a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away" it turns out I'm a 1000% correct as this episode- where Paul, Kieran and I discuss Ron Howard's 'Solo: A Star Wars Story'- was recorded allllllllll the way back in May 2020. Yep, this was one of our early pandemic recordings, recorded during the very first lockdown. So expect a couple of references (both Star Wars and otherwise) to be more than a little dated, but it's a fun conversation between three Star Wars fans who have lots of thoughts on this movie. Oh, and 'the sister podcast' mentioned early on- Easy Riders Raging Podcast- is now (in 2023) on it's 4th series, where we are talking about 1980s films, TV and music videos. Obviously our 1950s run is still available from all good podcast places.

In this solo episode, I discuss the James Mangold film, 'Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny'. And because this film is super new I break it down into a non-spoiler review in the first half of the ep and then I get all spoilery in the back half of the episode.

In this episode- recorded way back in early 2021- Kieran and I discuss 'I Wanna Hold Your Hand', the Robert Zemeckis directed/ Steven Spielberg produced film, which is a teen comedy set during the height of Beatlemania.

In this short solo episode- continuing our MCU coverage- I revisited James Gunn's 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' ahead of the release of 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3' later this week.

In this episode, recorded back in Spring 2021 when we were still deeply in lockdown, Kieran, Paul and I discuss the Columbo episode 'Murder by the Book', which was both the first episode of that long-running show and an episode directed by Steven Spielberg. Things to note since this episode was recorded, Angela Lansbury has since sadly passed (we talk about her being still alive in the recording) and also Kieran states Natasha Lyonne would make a perfect Columbo- and recently she has been cast in a Columbo-esque role in Rian Johnson's show Poker Face (which Kieran told me recently is very good).

In this episode- which I'm pretty sure was recorded a couple of days after Queen Elizabeth II died back in 2022 (it gets a brief reference)- Kieran and I continue our MCU Phase 3 coverage with a really fun discussion on 'Dr Strange' from director Scott Derrickson.
