From Trade School to Entrepreneur

Monica Wisdom Tyson did not always plan on being an entrepreneur. She attended trade school her she studied cosmetology, but after she graduated and got a job she found that she did not enjoy being in a corporate salon. It was her experience at barbershops that bit her with the entrepreneurial bug and she has been an entrepreneur ever since. Monica’s adventurous spirit has taken her in many different directions and avenues including cosmetology, writing, and the music industry. After graduating cosmetology school with honors, she ascended to advanced academies and studied with innovators who shaped the hair care industry we know today which included Vivienne Mackinder, Geri Cosenza, Irvine Rusk, Horst Rechelbacher, Darren Brokaw and Robert Loretta.
