Another topic we touched on is how the Paris police treated Ayesha & Sonya Curry while out enjoying the city. it took for a few people to step in and we still don't know what the situation was an if the officer apologized for places his hands on the baby. On this weeks episode we discuss the NBA Playsoffs and how its been going so far. So far none of the teams we ar used to seeing are currently in the playoffs. This year we are seeing a lot of young teams who are hungry and really want that championship and it is making for great basketball. The reigning champs the Denver Nuggets are in the playoffs but the Timberwolves are giving them all they can give with KAT and Anthony Edwards and they are currently up 2-0 in this second round. Jalen Brunson and the NY Knicks are also putting in work and giving the Knicks the chance to make it all the way. Niokla Jokic has been named the 2024 MVP and it is causing quite the commotion. Shaq stated in post game interview with Jokic that he wanted SGA to win this year especially since Jokic has made it known that winning really isn't all that important to him. Jokic did not seem to be phased by what Shaq stated but Shannon Sharpe took to his show and basically said that Shaq was jealous and that is not a GOAT. As we all know Shaq is one of the greatest big men ever to play this game and he also is a rapper and he took to the booth to write a diss in response to Shannon Sharpe and it is quite hilarious. Do you think Shaq was wrong, or do you think Shannon was being sensitive and overstepping?

Going into the Final Four game we have the UConn men and women, NC State men and women, Alabama men, Purdue men and Iowa women and South Carolina women. The UConn men are trying to repeat as National Champions but they will need to get passed a resilient Alabama team. However the most exciting part of this entire tournament has been the women and the excitement and great basketball that they have been bringing. Caitlin Clark who plays for Iowa is trying to make it back to the National Championship game but this time come out on top and end her college career with a ring, In order to do so however, Iowa will need to make it past Paige Bueckers and a tough but limited UConn squad. LSU and USC were both eliminated during the Elite 8 games but both teams played hard and fought the entire game. LSU played against Iowa and it was very much a back and forth game but Caitlin Clark just would not let up and scored 41pts to advance to the final four. USC and UConn was also a back and forth matchup but UConn just had a little more in the tank to pull the win to make it to their 23rd final four appearance. Let us know who you think will make it to the championship game and come out on top.

The 3pt contest between Steph and Sabrina needs to be brought back for years to come but with different NBA and WNBA players. The actual all star game was lackluster because the players don't take it as serious as the fans would like. Next we discussed Lebron James and Caitlin Clark who have both broken records. Lebron is now the only player in NBA history to have reached 40,000 points and Caitlin now has the point NCAA points of either men or women. Lastly we talked about how March Madness is approaching and we are anticipating the excitement that will be happening especially on the women's side. Skylar Diggins will be taking her talent to Seattle and Candace Parker will remain in Vegas with Aces, are just nan few highlights. Next we discussed the upcoming NBA All Star weekend happening 2/16 - 2/18 in Indianapolis. The format has reverted back to the original format of East vs West but this year has been some of what a shake up around a few players, Steph Curry in particular. Steph is definitely an All Star but he is not starter but a reserve. Do you agree with Steph being a reserve or was he snubbed? For Saturday activities, Steph and Sabrina Ionescu who plays in the WNBA for the New York Liberty will be having 3 point shooting contest, and we think it will definitely be a good show. Lastly we discussed Super Bowl Sunday happening on 2/11. If you have not heard, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will battle it out to see who will be champs. If we're being quite honest, this is not the super bowl many people may have wanted because the Chiefs have been a lot in previous years. A majority of people wanted a Ravens vs. Lions Super Bowl but maybe next year. The best thing happening for Super Bowl Sunday will most definitely be Usher performing for the half time show. What song are you hoping Usher performs and who do you think will be his special guests? Let us know your predictions and thoughts.

Moving to the NBA, let us just say that this in-season tournament is confusing but it seems to be going well. The only thing regarding this in-season tournament that isn't pleasant and making it hard to watch, is the courts. However this season has been different than most because teams you thought should be winning have been losing. Hopefully Bre gets a win before the end of the season and it turns around. Noah Lyles who is the 100m, 200m and 4x100 relay winner however has made some comments how he feels like the NBA should call themselves world champions because they don't compete against the world. These comments however have been sitting well with the players in the NBA. Do you agree with Noah Lyles? The offseason is usually always more exciting than the playoffs because of all the different things that happen. Honestly, Dame should have been asked for a trade because the help he has been needing wasn't coming. Hopefully he gets a trade that works for him. Kyrie is returning to Dallas which could be a good thing, because him and Luka could have something special in Dallas. Also, Draymond Green will be returning to the Warriors and if you think about their lineup, could this be the year that Chris Paul gets ring? But please don't forget about the new look that the Phoenix Suns have with their addition of Bradley Beal. So much has happened, with so much more to take place. Adam Silver has stated a few times that his consequence will be known after the NBA Finals. Do you think Ja has learned his lesson or do you think he will commit the same incident again? Next we touched on all of the different updates that have happened with the NBA coaches and the teams they have been let go from and where they are ending up. Of all the coaching changes, Monty Williams being let go from the Phoenix Sun had to be the most wild one. Monty will be the new head coach of the Detroit Pistons. What you are thoughts on all of the coaching changes? Do you think coaches shouldn't be held accountable for players for executing like they should? Also in this weeks news, Chris Paul has been waived by the Phoenix Suns. Where will CP3 end up or is this end of an incredible career. Let us know your thoughts. Lastly lets discuss the NBA Finals between the Denver Nuggets versus the Miami Heat. For the first time in franchise history the Nuggets are in the finals and the Miami Heat are back in the finals since bubble season. Currently Denver is leading the series 2-1 with game 3 airing tonight. If Denver wins game 4 and game 5 is back on their home court, they could possibly send the Heat home and be the 2023 NBA Champions. On this weeks episode we start off by congratulating Pau Gasol on his jersey retirement with the Lakers. Pau is officially cemented in the rafters with a few of the Lakers great and his jersey will hang forever next to his brother Kobe Bryant. Pau's ceremony brought out a lot of Laker greats who played with him and even some who did not but respected him as a player. Vanessa Bryant also presented Pau with a video from Kobe speaking very highly of Pau stating he could not wait for the day when Paul ad his jersey retirement. Although very touching it was also a bittersweet moment because Kobe is no longer with us to celebrate. Next we move over to the Memphis Grizzlies and start off by discussing the drama around Ja Morant. If you do not know Ja Morant went out to a club in Colorado, flashed a gun and has since been in the spotlight facing backlash and also was under investigation both with the NBA but also in Colorado. This incident where Ja Morant has been shown negatively in the spotlight. Since the incident Ja has been suspended from a total of 6 games and he has apologized and stated that he plans on taking some time away to get hisself together. Does Ja Morant need better people around him? Lastly we discussed the invisible beef between Draymond Green and Dillon Brooks. Dillon Brooks stated that he doesn't like Draymond or the Warriors and Draymond responded on his posted and called Dillon a clown. Honestly, this beef is unnecessary because no-one sees either team as a rivalry with each other. How do you feel about the Draymond and Dillon beef? Whose side are you on?

Hey, we're back! We definitely missed you all. First, lets get all the formalities out of the way. Happy New Year, Merry Christmas etc. On this weeks episode we jumped right in and gave a huge congrats to Lebron Jones on passing Kareem Abdul Jabar and is now the NBA Leading All Time Scorer. Whether you like Lebron or not you definitely have to respect what he has accomplished and give him what he deserves. To be able to break a record that has stood in place for 39yrs is incredible and should not be taken lightly, Now that Lebron has broken the record does this make him the Greatest Of All Time? We believe that categorizing someone as the GOAT is subjective and is solely dependent on what your standards may be. Regardless this is an amazing accomplishment and should not be downplayed. Next we moved on to all of the excitement that has been taken place regarding trades. If you haven't heard, Kyrie Irving has been traded to the Dallas Mavericks and we for sure thinks this is a good luck. Kevin Durant is also leaving the Brooklyn Nets and has been traded to the Phoenix Suns. What we all thought was going to be a dominate Brooklyn Nets team on paper just never correlated in reality. However with both Kyrie and KD now being back in the West Conference, the West just got that more deadly. Looking at the way teams are currently stacked, who are you taking out of the West? The Cavs are a team to look out for and also the Utah Jazz. The Jazz are the first team in the NBA to have reached 10 wins so far this season. On the opposite end, veteran teams such as the Lakers and the Warriors with championship caliber players are struggling. The Lakers have only won 2 games so far this season and the Warriors had a road trip and lost every game. Now it is still very early in the season but something has to change because if either team plans to make a playoff run they will not with the way they have been playing. On this weeks episode we discussed opening week of the NBA for its 76th season. The first two games of the season were between the 76ers and Celtics. Jayson Tatum and the Celtics picked up where they left off at during the NBA Finals against the Warriors. If you have not realized it yet, we are not sure where you have been but Jayson Tatum is a complete star and has a long career head of him. The 76ers with the new addition of James Harden also played well even though they lost but even with the loss you can tell they will have a strong season ahead. The next game was against the Warriors and Lakers and it was also the ring ceremony for the Warriors. The ring ceremony and raising of the newest banner was amazing to see but the main even was the game. The Warriors did what needed to be done as reining champions and came out on top. If you were wondering there is no animosity within the team despite the recent altercation because they have a job to do which is achieve another ring. The following day followed games for the a lot of other teams but one game that stuck out was the game between the Dallas Mavericks and the Phoenix Suns. This game was definitely a repeat of their battle during the first round were the Mavs booted the Suns during the first round. The Mavericks came out playing with a vengeance proving why they run during the first round because the Suns were playing like a team lost. However during the second half the Suns came back out and did win the game. Later in the week the Lakers played against the Clippers and the Lakers are proving that they need to make some adjustments. Between the two games they played in opening week they were 8-84 from 3 and their backcourt is not getting points like other backcourts may be accumulating. Will the Lakers be able to turn it around? Are the Clippers the new LA team? The season will be interesting.

Continue to keep her and her family in your prayers. This WNBA season feels different because we know that this could be the last time we see Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi battle it out on the court. Make sure you tune in and watch these legends. If you are not aware we are officially in playoff season for both the NHL and NBA. The St. Louis Blues have advanced and will be moving on to the next round to face the Colorado Avalanche. This is good sign because this is the first time since they won the Stanley Cup in 2019 that they have made it out of round one. We're trying to make it back to the Stanley Cup Finals! Lastly we discussed the NBA playoffs and how so far they haven't been as exciting but its still been entertaining. The only team in either conference that has officially advanced to the next round is the silent but could be very deadly Miami Heat. Miami does not get talked about a lot in the media but they are definitely a team you should be watching out for. In the Eastern Conference the Celtics and Bucks are in a fight with Game 6 being tonight and if Boston wins they can force a game 7. In the Western Conference, the Warriors will face Memphis tonight in game 6 and hopefully they can handle business and close out the series because nobody wants a game 7 going back to Memphis. Game 5 was a complete blowout by Memphis, but if you have been watching the Warriors for a minute you know the they prefer to win and close out a series on their home court. Lastly in the West, the Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks series is taking a turn that I don't think many saw coming. They will be playing a game 7 for a winner take all in moving to the next round. Who do you have making it to the finals?

On this weeks episode we discussed all the games happening during round one of the NBA playoffs. Round one has been filled with a lot of excitement from different series but then there are some series where its just a easy call on who is winning the whole thing. The Brooklyn Nets and the Boston Celtics might be the best series during round one. Boston has been playing amazing basketball and for that reason it is very possible that they may knock the Nets out of playoff contention. In the west, the Golden State Warriors have been playing amazing against the Denver Nuggets and could very well sweep the series. Also in the west the Phoenix Suns versus the New Orleans Pelicans has been an interesting series. Devin Booker had an amazing first half in game two but during the second half got injured with a hamstring injury and will miss between 2-3 weeks. Does Booker being out change anything for the Suns in terms them being forward? Let us know who you have moving forward to the second round in both conferences. Overall playoff season is in full swing and we are excited about it. A special shoutout goes to our guest this week, Jacob!

During this episode we focused on all things NBA. First we started with discussing the firing of Lakers head coach, Frank Vogel. We think that firing him was a bit extreme and that all of the blame for the struggles of the team this season are being left on him when that should not be the case. A few people within the Lakers are at fault and they should each carry equal blame. Next we dropped right into the NBA playoffs starting off with the play-in tournament games that took place during the week. Congratulations to the Nets and Timbewolves on securing a spot in the playoffs. The reaction of the Timberwolves after winning and securing their spot, you would have thought they won the championship. Round 1 o the plays begins on Saturday and the series we are looking forward to the most starts on Sunday between the Boston Celtics and the Brooklyn Nets. That is going to be a hard fought series between two really good teams in this first round. Let us know your thoughts on you who you have moving and who you think will win it all!

Both games were amazing and well deserved wins for both teams. If you missed either game you missed out on some really good basketball but be ready for next season. We discussed the downfall of the Lakers this season and how they have been eliminated form playoff contention. The big issue is now is, everyone is playing the blame game and blaming each other for the demise of this season. In your opinion who takes the bulk of the blame? Lastly we discussed Opening Day for the STL Cards and how every year its a major holiday here in our city. Albert Puljos has made his return to STL on a one year contract and the city is hoping for a Championship. Baseball season is upon and we cannot be more excited.

On this weeks episode we discuss what is happening with Brittney Griner being held in Russia on drugs charges. It is a lot of issues surrounding her being held there especially since the rest of the world found out weeks after she had been charged. Also with what his happening in the world with Russia, it is very clear that BG is definitely being held as a political reason and they need to get her home. Next, we discuss Bre's favorite time of the year which is March Madness and it is in full affect and we are for certain that a lot of brackets are busted, lol. Lastly we discuss all of the things that have happened since All Star took place. We congratulate Lebron James on his continuous road to dominance and all of the individual milestones he continues to reach. We discuss Kyrie Irving and how he is allowed to be in the building when the Nets play home games but still can't play even though in New York there is no mask mandate. Its not making a lot of sense and a lot people, even players on other teams think the Mayor of New York needs to figure it out and quickly. Of the final 14 games the Nets have Kyrie can only play in 4 of them. Lastly we dicusss the Phoenix Suns and the run they currently are on. At the moment they are the only team to have solidified a spot in the post season. Could this be the year after the upset of losing last year? We shall see!

The game overall was pretty calm except for a few plays and A few flags towards the end of the game. Being from STL we were both rooting for a Bengals win solely because of the way the Rams left STL. Our guest however, Dray predicted a Rams win. We congratulated OBJ on his well deserved win with the Rams even after all he had been through from leaving the Giants and then going to the Browns and not being appreciated. Next we talked about what many people tuned in for was the half time show performance. If you missed the half time show please go watch it, it was epic and a true testament of hip hop. From Dr. Dre, Snoop, Mary J Blige, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem it was non-stop and it was amazing. This half time show sits as one of the greatest behind a few others. Lastly we discussed this weeks upcoming NBA All Star and also the trades that have happened so far. Specifically the trade sending James Harden to Philly for Ben Simmons who will be going to the Nets. At the moment not sure who got the better end of that deal. Let us know down below.

Curry still has a nice long career ahead of him so who knows how far the number will grow before someone passes Steph Curry. Congratulations to Becky Hammon who is now the new head coach of the Las Vegas Aces. Currently Becky is an assistant coach of the Spurs and she does plan on finishing this NBA season. This head coaching title is well deserved. Kyrie Irving has also made his return to the court as well. Kyrie stood on his beliefs about the vaccination and in the end, it somewhat worked in his favor. Next we discuss the return of Klay Thompson and the great start the Warriors are currently experiencing. The question however is, once Klay returns do you think the momentum will change or will Klay just add to that momentum? They say that a hater is most times your biggest supporter and Scottie Pippen as of late as been showing a lot of hate towards Michael Jordan. If you were not aware the NBA is back and if the opening game were any indication of what the season will bring its going to be a great season. The season opened Bucks vs Nets and the Bucks came to let y'all know why the are the reigning champs. Also if you have not seen their championship ring you need to because it is massive. We also got a first look at this Lakers with all of the new pieces they have added. Many of the star players who have joined the Lakers are easily the number 1 player on other teams so it poses the question of down the line how will this work and will players start to get irritated about playing time? The Warriors however are something serious this season so please do not sleep on them. Klay Thompson is set to return this season we are not sure however when that will be; but for the time being Steph Curry and company are doing what they have to do. Lastly we discuss the drama of Kyrie Irving and if he will play this season because he doesn't want to take the vaccine and the support of his teammates. We then move on to Ben Simmons and all of the drama surrounding him during this offseason. Its a lot of drama that doesn't need to be the center of attention right before the start of the season. The NBA also has some covid vaccine protocols in place but not many. Players are not required to be vaccinated but depending on where you play if you aren't vaccinated you won't be getting paid for games played in certain cities.
