Friends of the Rosary, Happy New Year in Christ! This Thursday after the Epiphany, Day Sixteen in Christmas, we pause to reflect on the wisdom of the “Three Holy Kings,” or the Magi, which means "great, illustrious." The Magi were called saints in the 12th century, and since then, the devotion has spread worldwide. These "Wise men from the East,” as St. Matthew called them, were a highly esteemed class of priestly scholars, devoting themselves to studying natural sciences, medicine, mathematics, astronomy, astrology, and religion. In several countries, they were members of the king's council. They could have been from any of the countries of Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, or India. The first was called Melchior; he was an old man with white hair and a long beard; he offered gold to the Lord as to his king. The second, Gaspar by name, young, beardless, offered to Jesus his gift of incense, the homage due to Divinity. The third, of black complexion, with a heavy beard, was called Baltasar; the myrrh he held in his hands prefigured the death of the Son of man. There is an old legend that when many years passed, the Magi were visited by Saint Thomas the Apostle, who baptized them after instructing them in Christianity. They were then ordained to the priesthood and made bishops. The legendary relics of the Magi were brought from Constantinople to Milan in the sixth century. In 1164, Emperor Frederick Barbarossa obtained them from the archbishop of Milan and transferred them to Cologne. Their shrine in Cologne is today the center of many pilgrimages. Led by Apostle Sydney Quaye, Global Lead Pastor of Shekinah Avenue Church In this powerful message, Apostle Sydney Quaye explores the biblical principle of God's blessing over His people in the form of houses and lands. Drawing on scriptural examples, he emphasizes that having property, both symbolically and materially, is an expression of divine favour. Just as God promised houses and lands to His people in the Bible, so too does He desire to bless believers today with ownership, abundance, and prosperity. Apostle Quaye reminds listeners of the importance of declaring their faith over their possessions and future. He challenges everyone to expand their vision, asking God for lands to build businesses, schools, hospitals, and projects that impact the world. It is not only a material blessing but also a spiritual mandate to leave a legacy for future generations. As a "good man," one must leave an inheritance for their children, ensuring prosperity flows from one generation to the next. He urges the audience to be proactive in seeking divine provision, declaring that now is the time to claim and build, as systems of governance may soon make it harder to do so. Through faith and the anointing, God will supernaturally provide lands and properties in prime locations, guiding His people to opportunities they did not labour for. This message is filled with declarations of faith, encouraging believers to boldly claim the houses and lands that God has promised them. It speaks to the prosperity of both spirit and material wealth, with an emphasis on using these blessings to further the kingdom of God. Through the favor of God, believers can expect to receive goodly houses, lands for projects, and even properties that they did not labor for. The podcast concludes with Apostle Quaye's profound reminder that believers are rich in Christ, not only in material wealth but in peace, joy, relationships, and favour. He urges everyone to embrace this reality and walk with the consciousness of being rich in every dimension of life, through the anointing and grace of God. This message encourages listeners to trust in God's promises for supernatural provision and to boldly declare His favour in every area of their lives.

While we may have grown up believing God resides solely in church buildings, Scripture reveals a different reality. God's presence transcends physical spaces; He dwells within us through His Spirit. Jesus himself spoke of the Spirit's arrival, promising something even greater than His physical presence. So, have you ever considered the Spirit as better than Jesus? It's a remarkable concept, yet Jesus affirmed it. While some may long for audible voices or visible signs, the Spirit's whispers within our hearts bring us even closer to God. As you pray today, consider thanking the Holy Spirit for His closeness and be mindful of God's presence throughout your day.You can purchase the book here: https://pastorrustygeorge.square.site
Today's Passage: Ephesians 5:6-14Today's Prayer: Oh Lord, we love you. Anything we are is because of you. Through you all things were made. Without you nothing was made that has been made. In you is life and that life is the light of all mankind. That light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it. What a privilege it is to be children of that light. Today I ask that you give us aware of the opportunities to be light in our day to day lives. Lord I pray you give us opportunities to be kind to people who are not kind, I pray you give us opportunities to be gentle to people who are harsh, I pray you give us opportunities to share the truth of the Gospel to those who have not heard it. I pray you shine your light on places that our dark in our own spirits. Call us to holiness. You are faithful to do that. Today's Passage: Matthew 9:18-22 Today's Prayer: Lord, as we go about our days, planned and scheduled, let our hearts not see discipline as our righteousness. If discipline masks the idolatry of control, may we humbly submit to the perfect timing of the Lord. May we imitate Jesus who embraced interruptions and those who were causing the interruption with compassion. Let us remember that some interruptions are far more than delays – that You, in your perfect goodness, create holy divine moments out of what we are quick to consider interruptions to our day. Moments where we can tend towards others with supernatural compassion. When we aren't planning on the change in direction, let us listen to the Holy Spirit for how you may be moving. Turn our heads to those whose hearts need tending. Turn our heads to the broken hearted. Turn our heads to the lonely. Turn our heads to those lost in darkness. For thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever…AMEN.NOTES & LINKS:21 Days of Prayer and Fasting WebsitePDF Guide to Prayer & FastingAs part of the 21 days, we're committing to 21 days of 24/7 prayer. In today's episode, Gene gives us a couple of ways we can be a light that aren't going to take 1 more second of your time. He shows us how to turn mundane errands into adventurous evangelistic opportunities. He also shows us how we can use our work and hobby relationships to shine the light of the gospel to our communities.
Led by Apostle Sydney Quaye, Global Lead Pastor of Shekinah Avenue Church In this episode, using John 16:23-24 and John 14:13, Apostle explains that the name of Jesus is not an addition to prayer, nor is it a ceremonial or religious conclusion to prayers. It is instead the center of the prayer. We receive because we use and stand in his name. May your joy be complete, and the Father glorified as you receive your desires as you pray in the name of Jesus.

Difficulty: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (6/10) Have you ever watched a movie, then posted about it on Facebook? Or tried a new Amazon product and shared your experience? Have you posted a quick story of something that happened throughout your day? Pretty simple, right? There's a reason we call it social media - we use social media as a tool to connect with others and share our stories. Today's challenge: apply this same concept to sharing your faith story. Make a post about when you decided to follow Jesus and how that decision impacted your life (only 1-2 sentences). I know that sharing your faith story on social media can sound intimidating. But here are 3 things to remember: You tell stories every day. Every time you tell a friend “the craziest thing happened the other day” or “let me tell you what happened at the grocery store,” that's storytelling. You're already a pro! It doesn't have to be polished. In fact, it shouldn't be polished. It should be your words, telling your story. There's no right or wrong way to do this - because there's not a cookie-cutter approach to telling your story! Remember, it's the story of how God started working in your life. You're the best one to tell this story because you were the one who witnessed it firsthand! So jump on social media and make a short post about when you decided to follow Jesus and how it impacted your life. Not on social media? Ask God to give you an opportunity to share your story in conversation today, and when the opportunity comes, take it! Bonus Step Difficulty: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (8/10) Share your faith story over a selfie video. This video should be about 45-90 seconds long. You might think that's too short, but the goal isn't to share every detail, but just the most important ones. You want to be sure to include where you were in life when you came to faith in Jesus. Then share what made you want to make that decision. Were you invited to church? Were you in tough life circumstances and then turned to God? Were you a child or teen when you came to Christ? Then share where you are now, and why you love living for God and going to church.

Janice, Dan, Evangeline, and the family arrive in Colorado, their home for the next three weeks (though not all in one place). It took the longest tow day they've had to get there and they also traversed the smallest highways they've been on. How'd it go? Surprisingly well! It turns out, there are some plusses to highways instead of the interstates one of which is everyone moves a lot slower so when you're lugging 6,000 pounds behind you, you're not the only slow moving vehicle on the road. But, the further they got from the Black Hills the hotter and windier it got so it wasn't all smooth sailing. Climb in the trailer, week three starts here!
