We're back, and so is Brian's voice! And we simply have to tell you about a bunch MORE role-playing games that have interesting mechanics. We talk about games where characters don't trust each other, or perhaps do but shouldn't. We give a lot of love to Bully Pulpit Games and Rowan, Rook, & Decard, because they do consistently great work. We talk about a bunch of great GMless, no-prep games, and you can see several of them being played by our friends at Third Floor Wars: Zhenya's Wonder Tales Desperation (Brian's in this one!) The Zone We talk about an extraordinarily important and influential RPG that isn't actually very good, and a new RPG that's extremely cool, but we can't tell you why. Have you ever wanted to play a character whose body and mind are being colonized by a swarm of sentient, psionic bees? Have we got the game for you! Sex moves? Sex moves! What great TTRPG mechanics did we overlook that you want to tell us about? What do you want to hear us talk about now that we've finished our TTRPG digression? Come visit our Discord server to chat with us and other like-minded game nerds! As always, thank you for listening. Please consider writing us an iTunes review if you like what you hear! Part of a series of table-top RPGs set in a Weird West, run for The Gauntlet. Dream Aflame is a GMless three-player tabletop RPG in which you play as desperate survivors in a desolate land of magic and danger - and also as the land and its denizens. Will you learn strange secrets? Will you build something that can last? Will you simply survive, bickering and bitter all the while, or will something sweeter bloom from the toxic ground? The game uses the Belonging Outside Belonging system, famously originated in Avery Alder's game Dream Askew, and draws inspiration from a multitude of sources, including the video game Pyre and the music of The Dead South. Dream Aflame is by Quintessential Gaming and is available here https://quintessential-gaming.itch.io/dream-aflame

What's this? Something in my Chillhaven podcast feed? On a Thursday?! That's right gang. We've all been having quite a blast cavorting about in the 1927s, but we thought we should check back in on how things are going in 2021 (they're going great right? let me take a big sip of coffee and take a look at the world...). So we made this 100% CANONICAL BONUS EPISODE! In it, we play the fabulous GMless game Hero Dog Saves Town by Alex Roberts, wherein the writers of a tv show about a dog pitch their ideas for the show... To the Dog! And in this case, that dog is none other than Mayor Field Goal! We hope you this sneak peak, but to get the full episode you're going to have to sign up for our Patreon over at https://patreon.com/chillhavenhigh , where for as little as $3 you can hear the whole bonus episode RIGHT NOW!
"The Skeletons" is a GMless game by Jason Morningstar. ARISE AND DEFEND THE TOMB MY SKELETON WARRIORS! What happens when a Skeleton is around for too long?
