Moto America has officially come to an end for 2024 so it's time for a little season recap! From the start of the season it appeared that we would have a repeat of the previous years, but the Red Mist rose to the fight and secured himself another championship win after 11 years without! Beyond Josh ending an 11 year drought for himself he also secured Ducati their first in 16 years!! Outside of Moto America we travel across the pond to cover the weekend with WSBK where Toprak continues to gain the points he needs to also secure a championship. Most would say he has that nailed down, but the season is far from over and anything could happen. In the land of Moto GP we had quite the weekend with Jorge Martin making everyone question his odds of winning a championship on the Ducati. Meanwhile on Sunday Marquez and Bastianini both lost some hefty points in the fight due to DNF's. https://www.bittingermotorsports.com/ (Weekly Tip: Smooth Operator) MotoGP Fantasy League Code: CVYZ2MY7 (log onto MotoGP Fantasy and enter code or search JKMoto Podcast) https://fantasy.motogp.com/

JKMoto: a weekly motorcycle podcast for the everyday rider, covering current bike and racing news, specializing in Track Days, Club racing, and great entertainment. We Truly do it all! Another week down and another great week of motorcycle racing all over the world!!! MotoGP continues another great season of two very talented riders trading who holds the top place week after week, but another rider is slowly emerging from behind. Does Bastianini have enough time left in the season or is it too late? Does he even have the talent to give it a fighting shot? Another big question that will remain unanswered until next season is just how much talent Marc Marquez has left in the tank, and whether he will be able to show it next year on the top Ducati equipment on the grid!! Much to still be answered and we're here to deliver it all. Back home here in America we had quite an eventful weekend at Mid Ohio returning after a long absence, was Josh Herrin just lucky to have raced there in the past, or does he have the talent to pull off a championship win this 2024 season? Will rain continue to affect Moto America at almost every race? Beyond all the racing of course we'll give you any and all coverage of our own riding adventures which took place this week at the infamous Road Atlanta!!! With many other big names coming out and proving that they'll be here to fight this year, and a few names possibly not showing all their cards, it will be a wild season for sure!! Some of the bigger points to talk on this weekend were the debut of Marc on his Ducati and of course the debut of the rookie Pedro Acosta. Last weekend, we were surprised when Jorge Lorenzo rode like someone else. This weekend in Austria, he proved the New Jorge is here to stay - and he can win. Marc Marquez showed us again that he can tranform from WinOrBin to WinOrPodium. Dovi put up a fight, but one bigger mistake took him out of the running and now Ev is worried about him. Yamaha is still down in the dumps. And Scott Redding blew up in all the right ways.BrotoGP was also at Sonoma Raceway this past weekend for MotoAmerica. We interviewed some racers like Kyle Wyman, Josh Herrin, and Josh Hayes, went pro with some questions in the press conference, and had an amazing race weekend. There's plenty to talk about with MotoAmerica and the future of American Road Racing - maybe Scott Redding will be part of it.We cover Moto2 real quick, with a few highlights. Then we finish this one off with some listener questions from Instagram.

Superbike racing had 2 amazing weekends recently with MotoAmerica at RoadAmerica and WorldSBK at Brno. You asked for more non-MotoGP coverage, so you are getting it!Toni Elias, Cam Beaubier, and Josh Herrin put in some amazingly hard passes in America's National Series for the best 2 races we've seen all year. Someone went down, drama bubbled up, and Rob wonders if penalties are going to get in the middle of this great racing. America still seems to follow "turnabout is fair play" and we like it.WorldSBK race 1 isn't worth talking about... but race 2, oh man. The two factory Kawasaki racers came together, reminding us of recent GP incidents. And again, Rob wonders about penalties - did Race Direction only not penalize Sykes because he crashed after? On top of that Alex Lowes put in a solid performance to take his first SBK win and Yamaha's 3rd in 4 races.Lastly, we introduce our new segment, the BrotoGP Hotline. Petrucci Iannone Rossi Rossi Dovi Hayden. Call us, ask a question, and you could make it onto the show!

Talking Motorcycles shines it's spotlight back on the MotoAmerica series in this edition of the show! Only one round remains in the AMA Superbike series and it happens September 9, 10 and 11 at New Jersey Motorsports Park. This classic venue is the perfect place to end the season and it is a "must see" event for America's road racing fans. In this episode of the show we feature three stars of the series one on one. Hayden Gillim is a Man with a Van and a Plan! He is traveling back and forth across America in his Cycle World van racing his Suzuki's on dirt and asphalt old school style much the same way Mert Lawill and others have done it in the past. We get his take on the great adventure and some insight into what this season has meant to him as well as what his plan may be going forward! Cameron Beaubier has a 29 point advantage going into the final round. We discuss the terrible start on the 2016 season and how he and the team were able to overcome the early season deficit to be in a position to win his second AMA Superbike championship in a row! Beaubier gives us his take on riding the Pata Yamaha at Donington and his thoughts on racing abroad vs in America! Josh Herrin won 6 events in a row to clinch the Superbike 1000 championship at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. That creates the possibility of perhaps adding two additional wins to his season total with no pressure at NJMP. We get the back stories of his Meen Motorsports team and what the championship means to Meen! Talking Motorcycles with Barry Boone is powered by Crosley Brands!
