We're winding the clock back to the epic and hugely contentious 2015 MotoGP season in a series of mini-podcasts exclusively for The Race Members' Club on Patreon this year. As voted for by the members, Simon Patterson, Val Khorounzhiy, Megan White and Matt Beer are reliving 2015's unforgettable Valentino Rossi vs Marc Marquez vs Jorge Lorenzo three-way title fight round by round, with a few bonus detours along the way. To give you a free taste of what it's all about, here's a segment from MotoGP 2015 Revisited's first episode on the Qatar Grand Prix, which is available in full through The Race Members' Club on Patreon now. MotoGP now expects Ducati to dominate, but back at the start of 2015 it hadn't won in half a decade and was only just finding its feet again - with a little help from Dorna's rule concessions but also as its new technical chief Gigi Dall'Igna began to work his magic. But Ducati still had to take on Yamaha's legendary Rossi + Lorenzo line-up, and even they weren't really expected to beat Honda rider Marquez to the championship given how he'd crushed the field in 2014 and followed up his astonishing 2013 title win as a rookie with an even more impressive campaign. His 2015 campaign didn't exactly begin well, though… here's what Simon, Val, Megan and Matt made of it all. Want more MotoGP podcast content? We've got a special guest this week, and if you've seen the title of this podcast you can probably guess who it is......that's right, it's the return of the legendary Livio Suppo! So, what's on the menu today? Well, we're gearing up for what promises to be a spectacular season and we don't know what the outcome will be. There's top riders being positioned into intense rivalries, there's old paddock mainstays like KTM in dire, dire straits and there's technology that can make all the difference...if you can get your hands on it. Add to that the future passing of the reigns from Dorna to Liberty Media, and it becomes clear that this is the start of an era that's becoming stranger and more interesting by the day. We don't know what's going to happen - but we have Livio's number, so let's give him a ring and pick his brain about things. Shall we? Want more? Visit our website or support us on Patreon. With big thanks as always to Brad Baloo from The Next Men and Gentleman's Dub Club for writing our theme song. Check out The Nextmen for more great music!

With the help of Galahad, Hoshino, and Arguile, Shanks realizes that connecting with Zechs requires speaking to him rather than at him. They have a heartfelt conversation that brings them closer than ever. Arguile dreams from the perspective of a man named Urich, interacting with his mother, Dorna, in the strange land of Narkorua. Galahad receives a vision guiding him to a Uniluum warrior in Drose. The group then encounters a floating stone face, offering three questions. Various group members have visions and dreams tied to their past and future, including Hoshino seeing a mysterious woman and Salix communicating with a Void Dragon. Once they arrive in Drose, they meet Chantico, the protector of the Eternal Flame, and are split up to complete their tasks. Galahad is tasked with mentoring Xoco, a Guardian of Drose, and the rest of the group meets Tozi, who provides them with crucial historical insights. As they explore the city, Arguile and Shanks are robbed by an old man and his cat but successfully retrieve their stolen goods after a tense exchange. Zechs meets Isolde, a tiefling scholar, who gives him essential knowledge about Malar and his role within the Pantheran Pantheon. The group reconnects later, sharing updates on their tasks and planning their next steps. If spectating at a MotoGP race in Europe is on your bucket list, then the Italian Grand Prix at Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello won't disappoint, as “Driven to Ride” host Mark Long discovered firsthand this past June. Long spent the week traveling with his buddy Mike, who lives in Switzerland. Together, they enjoyed the full, immersive race-weekend experience camping on the scenic (and noisy!) Tuscan hillsides. To better understand the nuts and bolts of a MotoGP race, especially one held on the Continent, Long spoke with Friné Velilla, who has worked for series commercial rights-holder Dorna for 20 years, the past 15 as media manager. FIM MotoGP Stewards Panel Chairman Freddie Spencer knows his way around Mugello, too, the three-time world champ having won both the 250cc and the 500cc races on the same day in 1985.One of the fastest circuits on the calendar, Mugello is also one of the most difficult to nail as a rider. “It's technical, it's high-speed,” Spencer explained, “but it challenges you mentally.” Long met two more Americans, J.J. and his son Connor. “This is number one on my list of the tracks I wanted to go watch,” J.J. said about Mugello. And Long's post-event advice? Go. Just go. But remember to bring earplugs. You'll need 'em. All the Interviews from COTA! Jim grabbed five different people from the paddock and talked to them. First up is Simon Patterson. We discuss Liberty Media, Flat Rock and Track House. Next is a few minutes with John Hopkins talking about Joe Roberts and how good he believes Joe can be. Next Jim sat down with Eric Paradis of Flatrock. They talk about the building of the track and how soon it will be on the MotoGP calendar. (Please note the interview with Eric and John sound a little weird but there was so much background noise that I tried to reduce so the audio got a little metalic). Then a great 10 minutes with Joel Kelso talking about his thought son the Moto3 class. Last interview is with Dorna's CCO Dan Rosomondo.
