Marquez Reduces Gap To 40 As Bezzecchi Banned For Marshal Strike

Dre Harrison and Pete McLaren sit down to review a wild weekend at Brno for the Czech GP (Don't worry, Lewis is back next week, he's on holiday)The weekend was dominated by Marco Bezzecchi being banned from the Grand Prix after striking a marshal during a crash in the Sprint Race. With his ban, and Marquez winning the Grand Prix, it reduces Bezzecchi's lead over Marquez to just 40 points from 102 just two weeks prior in Mugello. Is this a weakness for Bez going forward, and was it right he was banned? The race itself is also analysed, as Marquez had to dig extra deep to hold off Ai Ogura's worn-tyre pace, while Pecco Bagnaia managed his fourth podium finish in a row. And finally, some more follow-up on the F1-esque Concorde Agreement that the sport and factories agreed on. But what does that mean for you as a fan? Hosted on Acast. Sometimes we get by with a little help from our friends. Case in point: Marc Marquez, taking first place with the help of Martin and Bezzecchi. The latter's help was especially unconventional, as the Bez managed to get himself suspended for a race when he decided to slap a race official. And no matter what you say, you just can't go around slapping stewards or mauling marshals. It's a slip-up from the world's fastest hippy - or, to quote Mat: "The Red Mist can be a terrible thing!"And if you're going to miss out on a track, don't let it be Brno! Your hosts have to admit to having a little bit of a crush on the Czech track, with those beautiful sharp S-corners. And a good race like this? Well, it definitely helps! So come join us as Peter reveals why he's a fan of a very specific front tire and we wonder whether Aprilia suffers from a curse on their riders. Oh, and there's some interesting hints that seem to have something to do with Ohlins? Cheers! ---Want more? Visit our website or support us on Patreon. With big thanks as always to Brad Baloo from The Next Men and Gentleman's Dub Club for writing our theme song.

Among her many publications is the book, Brexitland, co-written with Rob Ford, which won the 2022 WJM Mackenzie Prize for the best book published in political science.

La chronique musique de Vincent Théval I'm Kingfisher Winter of '85/'86  (Suède). Reportage d'Agnieska Kumor.
