MotoGP y la Fórmula 1 son, a simple vista, universos paralelos y mundos totalmente distintos. Las leyes de la física que gobiernan una moto y un coche son opuestas, la relación del piloto con su máquina no tiene nada que ver y los riesgos asumidos no tienen comparación. Sin embargo, al escarbar en la psicología del deportista, en su forma de afrontar la presión, de destruir rivales o pilotar al límite, descubrimos un espejo fascinante. 1. Los Pioneros. Si viajamos a los orígenes, encontramos a Giacomo Agostini y Juan Manuel Fangio. Les une la elegancia, talento desbordante y visión para construir equipos. Fangio cimentó cinco mundiales saltando de equipo (Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Mercedes, Ferrari) con intuición mágica. Agostini hizo lo mismo: abandonó MV Agusta, que se lo dio todo, para firmar por Yamaha. 2. El Triunfo Sobre el Dolor. El triunfo sobre el dolor está encarnado por Mick Doohan y Niki Lauda. Pilotos forjados en el infierno con una voluntad inhumana. Lauda recibió la extremaunción en 1976 tras quemarse en Nürburgring, y seis semanas después corría ensangrentado en Monza. Doohan vivió su calvario en 1992 en Assen; casi pierde la pierna derecha, pero regresó inventando un freno trasero accionado con el pulgar para encadenar cinco mundiales. 3. Los Villanos del Paddock. Todo campeonato épico necesita villanos que el paddock ame odiar: Max Biaggi y Nelson Piquet. Ambos compartían una rebeldía antisistema, lengua viperina y maestría en la guerra psicológica. Piquet desestabilizaba con sarcasmo letal; Biaggi, "El Corsario", trasladó esa arrogancia a las dos ruedas. 4. Entre “Maestros” y “Doctores”. En la cumbre de la inteligencia en carrera están Valentino Rossi y Alain Prost. Prost era "El Profesor" porque calculaba el riesgo al milímetro y era capaza de pensar a 300 km/h. Rossi, "The Doctor", aplicó esa misma ciencia. Su mayor virtud era la destrucción psicológica del oponente. Valentino estudiaba obsesivamente a rivales y ejecutaba maniobras en los últimos giros que destrozaban la moral del contrario, ganando la carrera física y la guerra mental simultáneamente. 5. Monarcas Sin Corona. La historia nos deja a los monarcas sin corona: Dani Pedrosa y Stirling Moss. Les une talento absoluto, respeto unánime y falta de suerte. Moss es el "campeón sin corona" de la F1 en la época de Fangio. Pedrosa logró tres subcampeonatos y 31 victorias en MotoGP. Su físico liviano provocó lesiones gravísimas. A ambos les tocó lidiar con la generación más dura, dejando un legado técnico incalculable. 6. Puro Instinto Salvaje. El instinto salvaje une a Casey Stoner y Kimi Räikkönen. Comparten un don para la velocidad y un desprecio absoluto por las relaciones públicas. Odiaban el mundo corporativo. Kimi dormía antes de salir, y Casey solo era feliz en su granja. Pero al bajar la visera nacía la magia: Stoner domaba la bestial Ducati y Kimi pilotaba con naturalidad asombrosa. Corrieron bajo sus reglas y se retiraron por voluntad propia. 7. Los Perfectos Irreductibles. Los perfectos "irreductibles" son Jorge Lorenzo y Michael Schumacher. Comparten una obsesión innegociable por la perfección y un pilotaje robótico. Schumacher introdujo una preparación extrema, rodando con tiempos de clasificación. Lorenzo patentó ese concepto como "Martillo y Mantequilla", clavando tiempos a la milésima desde la pole para escaparse. Su extrema seguridad se percibía como arrogancia, pero era pura convicción matemática. 8. Al filo de lo Imposible. Marc Márquez y Ayrton Senna son los que hacen posible lo imposible. Los une un talento infinito sin filtro y la necesidad de competir al borde del abismo desafiando la física. Senna encontraba agarre espiritual bajo tormentas insalvables; Márquez revolucionó el motociclismo rozando codos por el suelo y salvando caídas a 65° de inclinación. Su agresividad feroz y su gen caníbal les hace preferir el accidente antes que aflojar el acelerador y conformarse. 9. Maestros del Río Revuelto. Los maestros del río revuelto son Joan Mir y Jenson Button. Les une oportunismo histórico, nervios de acero e inteligencia dentro del caos. Not only did Miró have retrospectives at the Museum of Modern Art, New York in 1941 and 1959, but he traveled to the US seven times between 1947 and 1968, when he made a point of seeing US art and visiting US artists. The exhibition at the Phillips is on view through July 5. The Phillips and the Fundació Joan Miró have published a catalogue; the Phillips offers it for $65. Con retraso, pero vuelve el Podcast de MotoGP 'Por Orejas?, con un nuevo e intenso debate sobre la actualidad del campeonato del mundo, con el título de Marc Márquez y la posterior lesión... quizá más grave de lo que pensábamos. Desde que se empezaron a hacer números sobre en qué gran premio Marc Márquez podía ya proclamarse campeón del mundo de MotoGP, el propio piloto acuñó una cantinela: "No sé dónde, pero quiero cerrarlo lo antes posible".  Podía parecer una fresa preparada, pero el tiempo ha dado la razón al campeonísimo español, que tras cinco años de travesía del desierto y después de cuatro operaciones, sabe perfectamente que el peligro acecha en cada esquina. Más aún, tras ganar el título de forma aplastante a la primera oportunidad, en el GP de Japón el 28 de septiembre, el discurso del catalán cambio por otro aún más agorero: "Ahora no voy a arriesgar ni a hacer locuras, después de ganar un título siempre me he hecho daño". Dicho y hecho, tras ser campeón en Motegi, se podía esperar una liberación para Marc, un dejarse ir para buscar más allá de los limites y marcar aún mayores diferencias con el resto de la parrilla, que ya de por sí han sido fabulosas. Pero un inesperado accidente el domingo del GP de Indonesia provocado por Marco Bezzecchi puede haber puesto punto final a la temporada de Márquez, que de momento se pierde Australia y Malasia, pero que podría ir más allá y no volver hasta el inicio de la pretemporada 2026. Casi tres semanas después del último capítulo, Uri Puigdemont, Germán Garcia Casanova y Alberto Gómez vuelven con una nueva entrega del Podcast MotoGP 'Por Orejas', de Motorsport Network, que recibe la siempre jaleada visita de Emilio Pérez de Rozas, uno de los más expertos y bien informados periodistas del paddock de MotoGP, y que nos alumbra con su última hora de la lesión del campeonísimo de Cervera. On the front row we saw a Ducati take off from 1st place, but not the one you would expect. Pecco Bagnaia with a massive swing in his riding results, most likely stemming from Ducati essentially giving him a 2024 back, filled out quite the resume qualifying 1st and pulling a win out of the sprint and the race!!! In second on the grid we found a Honda, also maybe not the one you'd expect as Joan Mir was able to not only qualify but also bring home a top 5 in the sprint and a podium finish during the race!! Finally it is time to talk about the most important news, Marc Marquez has once again secured his place on the top of the stage, and added his name to the tower of champions!!!
