The 45-player roster will be selected based on coaches and scout evaluation of skill, football knowledge, attitude, leadership, and character.The 2022 U.S. Women's Tackle National Team will compete at the IFAF World Championships in Vantaa Finland July 28th - August 8th. Thanks to an historic partnership between the Women's Football Alliance and NFL Alumni Association for the NFL Alumni Academy, six WFA coaches and players were given the opportunity to train under former NFL coaches Mike Tice, Jay Hayes, and Ted Cottrell and world-renowned Sports Performance trainer Chip Smith. The NFL Alumni Academy provides a pathway for the top-graded free agent players that were released from NFL training camps to return to the NFL by giving them the opportunity to further develop their skills and realize their potential by training under the tutelage of elite former NFL coaches, players and performance coaches. Upsets, blowouts, forfeits, battles- there's a lot to be said about what we've seen so far. Moose and Redwood discuss their standout performances for the season (so far), disappointments, and projections for the remainder of the season.
