ASU's special teams in 2025 were indeed special. On the positive side, Jesus Gomez was a clutch game-winning kicker. On the other hand, the punting and penalties were consistent issues. Add in Charlie Ragle's midseason medical leave, and it made for quite a year. Jack Nudo took the reins from Ragle in October, and in January, was made the permanent special teams coordinator. A rising star in the profession, and a Valley native from a football family, Nudo has brought in some new faces to make the special teams a strength this fall. On this episode, we discuss growing up as Rattlers royalty, his football journey, the nomadic life of a young college coach, this year's group of ASU specialists, and much more. Rich Bisaccia surprisingly stepped down from his position as Special Teams Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach of the Green Bay Packers, leaving the team to scramble to find a replacement. Currently, the Packers are the only team in the league with a vacant Special Teams Coordinator position. And all of the top candidates have accepted jobs elsewhere. (Yeah, not ideal...) Marques discusses potential candidates, ranging from LeVar Woods to Matthew Smiley, Todd McMahon, Jett Modkins and Devin FitzSimmons.
