Found living in a cave at just six years old after his father passed away, this man who will not be named got his nickname Bear from the local newspaper. Bear has lived an extraordinary life nearly dying many times working in the coal mines in the North of England, playing rugby in the UK and South Africa and entering the British Army earning his way up to Captain in the SAS. Not slowing down, Bear takes us through his fearless life from a young boy running 10km to school and back every day to sailing around the world for eleven-month with no prior experience. In this episode, I reflect on my challenge so far where I am in terms of my physique, injuries and overall goals. I talk about taking an Ego knock when discussing business plans with a friend, and how that resulted in cognitive dissonance that led to procrastination. I also discuss an interesting case study where a patient of mine got Ticagrelor induced central sleep apnoea.
