A "Stressless”, "Fearless” life - Eliminating all fear and stress from life ain't gonna happen, BUT it is definitely possible to reduce the amounts of both...to "stress less", and "fear less". This week, I'm giving you the 5 keys to do just that… Purpose What is your overall mission in life? What is the reason you're driven to get out of bed each day? If you don't know your purpose, that's okay. It will evolve and change over time, but defining a reason is important. Pick one. I believe our mission is to become the person God made us to be. Yours may of course be different, but will likely be some version of being the best you can - physically, spiritually, and financially. Gratitude Gratitude is a weapon! When you consciously acknowledge the things you're grateful for, you can overpower stress and fear. Gratitude is an incredibly powerful emotion and it's important to know the things you're grateful for so you can wield this weapon at will. Talk to Yourself More Than You Listen to YourselfOur thoughts can drift into territory that brings us down and can quickly spiral into catastrophic thinking if left unchecked. Be conscious of the thoughts you think…don't let them run on autopilot. Become the programmer - Don't run the program written by others. Growth and ContributionIn nature, you're either growing or dying…there's no middle ground. It is important to continue to grow as a human being and maintain a mindset (like the one described by Carol Dweck in the book, Mindset) that is conducive to that growth. According to Tony Robbins (and now accepted by many trained psychologists as truth), there are 6 basic needs that all humans must fulfil: Certainty: assurance you can avoid pain and gain pleasure Uncertainty/Variety: the need for the unknown, change, new stimuli Significance: feeling unique, important, special or needed Connection/Love: a strong feeling of closeness or union with someone or something Growth: an expansion of capacity, capability or understanding Contribution: a sense of service and focus on helping, giving to and supporting others The Combined Fulfilment of the Need for Connection and LoveWhy these two? The needs that Tony laid out are “basic necessities”...one is no more important than the other, BUT I believe focusing on these two as your “go to” needs, will give you the most satisfaction, reward, and positivity. Do you ever feel like you're holding yourself back? Like you're living a version of your life that's smaller than what you're capable of? If so, you're not alone. So many of us fall into the trap of “playing it safe,” thinking it's easier or less stressful. But is it really? Here's the truth: staying small might feel comfortable, but it's not fulfilling. It's not fun. And it's definitely not the way to create a life you're excited about. So how do we stop settling? It starts with asking the right questions:What do I really want? What's stopping me from going for it?What small step can I take today to get closer to my dreams? When you start answering these questions honestly, you begin to see where you've been holding yourself back—and where you can start stepping forward. It doesn't have to be a giant leap. Progress happens one step at a time. The key is to start, even if it feels uncomfortable. Because the discomfort of growth is so much better than the discomfort of regret. So ask yourself: What if I stopped playing small? What would my life look like if I fully went for it?Ready to find out? Let's go.

Most people in the Church today have been taught that the phrase “fear of God” simply means awe or reverence. Jonathan Pokluda, Lead Pastor of Harris Creek Baptist Church, walks us through how as a result, any fear surrounding God's power and wrath can dissipate, as we remember that the One worthy of being feared deeply cares for us and desires to use us.

Fear has a remarkable ability to hold us back, trapping us within the confines of our comfort zones. But what if we could break free from the shackles of fear and live a truly fearless life? Imagine the possibilities that would unfold if we could face challenges head-on, pursue our dreams with unwavering determination, and embrace uncertainty with open arms. Drawing on the wisdom of Dandapani's The Power of Unwavering Focus, I will share some of the effects of fear and worry on one's personal growth. In his book, Dandapani emphasizes that fear often arises from a scattered and undisciplined mind, and adds that fear is often rooted in the mind's projections about the future or past, rather than the present moment. Today, I am flying solo to talk about living without limits and embracing a fearless life. Join me for another inspiring episode as I discuss the secrets to living a life free from the constraints of fear and discover the incredible rewards that await those who dare to step outside of their comfort zones. Topics include: Identifying with certain traits or behaviors can limit personal growth How preoccupation with the future affects personal growth Grounding oneself in the present moment And other topics… Resource mentioned: The Power of Unwavering Focus: https://www.amazon.com/Power-Unwavering-Focus-Dandapani-ebook/dp/B09N6ZVT9M Connect with Darius: Website: https://therealdarius.com/ Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dariusmirshahzadeh/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imthedarius/ YouTube: https://therealdarius.com/youtube Book: The Core Value Equation https://www.amazon.com/Core-Value-Equation-Framework-Limitless/dp/1544506708 This episode is sponsored by Porkbun. I worked 13 inches before the sleeves (4 inches longer than called for) Goofed up working on front left. Didn't read the instructions well and I bound off stitches for the underarm on the RS of the piece instead of the WS. Thankfully the rows were very short after that, so ripped back and was able to fix it in less than an hour. Seaming- I seamed the shoulders and then the sides before setting in the sleeve. I should have done it in this order 1) shoulders 2) sleeves, 3) sides. This post from Amy Herzog was helpful re: Setting in Sleeves. KAL News Pigskin Party '23 Tune in to hear about: Quarter 4 Challenge: Cable It Up winners Participation Prize Winners Commentator Update The mad dash to get all those points entered was in full swing on Saturday night (superbowl eve). As of the time I looked, players had entered 299 projects since the start of February! On the boards, HikesandBikes (Nikii) shared their experience with a new approach to the tubular cast on where you use Judy's Magic Cast On. I'd seen this on Patty Lyon's instagram and was intrigued so I was super interested in what Nikii thought of it (as were others). There's also been some talk of knitting and walking. Loonyhiker shared that when she knits and walks she has a lot of interesting conversations because people are fascinated that she can do it. Deafelis shared the hot tip that Lowes or Home Depot are great places to practice because the aisles are wide and the floors are smooth (so fewer tripping hazards). Azknitwit noted that an indoor mall might be a great place to practice too! Finally, continuing with a recent theme about how yarn and how many projects to bring when traveling, Socalknit girl shared a sad cautionary tale of how to recover when disaster strikes the one and only project you brought on vacation. In this episode with Dr. Rebecca Heiss, we discuss how to approach imposter syndrome, beat stress and burnout, how to dig into manifesting the life you want and simply tricks to live life without fear. She is an author, speaker, and stress neurobiologist. Dr. Rebecca Heiss is a force. REBECCA'S MISSIONHELP OTHERS TO BECOME FEARLESS.The scariest thing to me is living a life full of fear. That's not living. That's relying on fear-based instinct to make choices for us. I've dedicated my life to pushing back on those instincts and leaning into the discomfort. When was the last time you danced without hearing that little voice in your head questioning “what will other people say” and “your hips do NOT move like that!” I ask people to challenge those voices in their daily lives. To make sure we are all making the most of this thrilling life we are so privileged to live. By making enemies of these limiting stories and shortcuts inside our own heads rather than with our colleagues, departments, or our conscious selves, we can begin to test our perceptions, and open ourselves to growth.https://rebeccaheiss.com/meet-rebecca/Check out her book, Instinct! https://rebeccaheiss.com/book/

How can one break free from fear and live a fearless life? Topics include: Identifying with certain traits or behaviors can limit personal growth How preoccupation with the future affects personal growth Grounding oneself in the present moment And other topics… Resource mentioned: The Power of Unwavering Focus: https://www.amazon.com/Power-Unwavering-Focus-Dandapani-ebook/dp/B09N6ZVT9M Connect with Darius: Website: https://therealdarius.com/ Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dariusmirshahzadeh/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/whoompdarius/ YouTube: https://therealdarius.com/youtube Book: The Core Value Equation https://www.amazon.com/Core-Value-Equation-Framework-Limitless/dp/1544506708 Learn more about your ad choices. In order to achieve freedom and live your most authentic life, it is important to face your fears. Living a #fearless life can be daunting at first, but also incredibly rewarding. With the rise of AI technology and remote work, more entrepreneurs are shifting into a #digitalnomad lifestyle. Today, Diana Davis, business coach for creative entrepreneurs and host of the podcast Pollen, talks with host Ben Easter about how to live a fearless life, what it's really like to be a nomadic #entrepreneur, and why establishing boundaries is so vital to preventing #overwhelm and #burnout.Diana has always been in the creative industry, starting off as a photographer and graphic designer. She wanted to help other creatives to lead the lifestyles they wanted without having to struggle financially. Although nervous to take that first step, she gave herself permission to face her fears and do it anyway. She became a digital nomad, trusting herself to wing it and figure it out along the way. She explains that in order for creatives to share their gifts, they have to be willing to put themselves out there, be fearless, and follow their own unique path. She also talks about the tendency for creatives to be so excited to share their gifts that they overextend themselves. This is why boundaries are important to establish early on.You don't have to be stuck in the life you have created. You are allowed to write your path in pencil and change it later, even if that feels scary. Give yourself permission to go back to the sandbox and figure out your purpose by testing different options. You can accomplish anything when you are willing to be fearless.Quotes“I used to be a photographer and a graphic designer. And that led me to really leading other creatives to be fearless and really put their gifts out into the “I think everything is just a reframe away from being positive.” (19:57-20:01 | Diana)LinksIG @Thebpbrand Fb thebpbrand Thebpbrand.com l @dollymeckler l @jyotilamba (on Twitter, Instagram) LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jyoti-lamba/Connect with Diana Davis:Camp Clarity: https://www.dianadaviscreative.com/camp-clarityGreece Retreat: https://www.dianadaviscreative.com/retreatNewsletter: https://view.flodesk.com/pages/5ec57b49b825ad00277d84e2POLLEN Podcast on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/pollen-for-creative-entrepreneurs-with-diana-davis/id1620053047Connect with Ben:Website: https://lucidshiftcoaching.com/Lucid Shift Coaching IG: https://www.instagram.com/lucid_shift_coaching/Project Candlelight: https://airtable.com/shr5p0P2793RtRk2kPodcast production and show notes provided by HiveCast.fm Hosted on Acast.
