    Ivy Insights

The Freedive Cafe podcast is a must-listen for all freedivers. Hosted by Donny, this podcast offers deep insights and clever training tips from interviews with the world's top freedivers. Donny has a knack for getting his interviewees to share their thoughts and experiences in a way that is both insightful and entertaining. I have learned so much from this podcast and have listened to every episode multiple times. It has been an invaluable resource for me throughout my first year as a certified freediver.

One of the best aspects of The Freedive Cafe podcast is the wealth of information it provides. As freediving is still a relatively new sport, there are many concepts that can be difficult for beginners to grasp. Donny has made all the right decisions when creating this podcast, offering long-form interviews that allow listeners to really get to know the guests and their experiences. Each episode walks through important concepts in freediving, making them more accessible to beginners. Donny himself is incredibly knowledgeable about the sport and his skill as an interviewer shines through in his ability to keep the discussions interesting and on track.

However, one area where this podcast could improve is in exploring current topics, research, and news on freediving. While the episodes so far have been well-done and interesting, I hope that future episodes will delve deeper into these areas. Additionally, it would be great to hear more advanced techniques discussed among competitors such as breathe-up methods, nutrition, and common errors made in competitions. Basic introductory information can easily be found online, so it would be beneficial for the podcast to focus on more specialized topics.

In conclusion, The Freedive Cafe podcast is an excellent resource for anyone interested in freediving. Donny's interviews with top freedivers offer valuable insights and training tips while keeping the show fun and entertaining. While there are some areas where the podcast could improve in terms of exploring current topics and advanced techniques, overall it is a must-listen for all freedivers. I highly recommend giving it a listen and giving it a warm five-star rating. Kudos to Donny for creating such an informative and enjoyable podcast.
