Alright, y'all, we're kicking off a wild ride into Operation Paperclip with this overview episode of what's to come,  but you know we ain't stopping at just the surface-level history. Nope. We're peeling back the layers to see what was really going on when the U.S. scooped up a bunch of Nazi scientists and gave ‘em shiny new jobs. Was it just about rockets and national security, or was there something way darker at play?Brandon, BT, and Lindsy dive into the spiritual undercurrents behind the Nazi regime, the occult influences that fueled their twisted ideology, and whether Operation Paperclip was just a glorified tech transfer or a backdoor for an ancient rebellion to keep rolling. Y'all, we're talking Watchers, Nephilim, Babel, secret societies, eugenics, and how all of this still shapes the world we live in today. You ready?, ‘cause this ain't your high school history class.Books mentioned:Operation Paperclip: The Secret Intelligence Program That Brought Nazi Scientists to America – Annie JacobsenArea 51: The Uncensored History of America's Top Secret Military Base – Annie JacobsenUnholy Alliance: A History of Nazi Involvement with the Occult – Peter LevendaHitler's Monsters: A Supernatural History of the Third Reich – Eric KurlanderThe Book of Enoch The Book of Giants – Dead Sea Scrolls fragment, authorship attributed to ancient textsDemons and Spirits in Biblical Theology – John H. This is the second part in the two-part series on rune magic. I cover the period from c. 700 CE to the end of the medieval period, discussing various kinds of magico-religious inscriptions that archaeologists have found. I also discuss the literary evidence a bit, centering on the Eddic poem Sigrdrífumál. Although there's a lot that could be covered from the period 1600-1800, I skip that period to talk about the origin of contemporary rune magic in the late 19th century. We learn about the Austrian rune occultist Guido List and what his rune "revivalism" was all about. We also learn about some of the people he associated with and how some of them went on to influence the Nazi movement's use of runes and occultism. Finally, we learn a bit about how List's type of rune magic has become the dominant strain in contemporary rune magic.SHOW NOTESAmazon.com: Hitler's Monsters: A Supernatural History of the Third Reich: 9780300189452: Kurlander, Eric: BooksThe Occult Roots of Nazism: Secret Aryan Cults and Their Influence on Nazi Ideology: Goodrick-Clarke, Nicholas: 9780814730607: Amazon.com: Books

Occult Series #3 of 4. Whether we've ever really given it any study, we're all at least a little familiar with the link between the Nazi party and the occult. Movies like Captain America and Hellboy have plot lines that center on supernatural obsessions of Nazi leadership, desperately trying to find magical or supernatural ways of winning the war and establishing the Nazi worldview. Indiana Jones famously fought the Nazis - more than once! - to secure the Holy Grail and Ark of the Covenant, which the Nazis hoped would bring them cosmic power. But this is just pop culture, embellishing what we already know was a fanatical movement to create compelling movie plots, right? Right? Well, as we always say, it's complicated - but in short, while those movie plotlines might be exaggerated for dramatic effect, they weren't made up out of wholecloth. The NSDAP, or the National Socialist Worker's Party, which rose to power in the interwar period led by Adolf Hitler, was a party ideologically enabled by occultist theories about the Aryan race and vampiric Jews, on old folk talks about secret vigilante courts and protective werewolves, and on pseudoscience ideas about ice moons. In this episode, we're going to explore the occult ideas, racial mythology, and ‘supernatural imaginary' that helped to create the Nazi Party. Bibliography Kurlander, Eric. You many ask be asking . . .Which craft is shaping media narratives? And the answer is Witchcraft is shaping media narrativeWe have been talking at length about the ideas and narratives shaping global thought and society. But what are the forces shaping the media, and informating the narrative, what is influencing theZiegiest if you will.As Balaji said on Tim Ferris' podcast: Media codes Humans. Media, the narrative controls the way humans think, but there is a greater reality that influences and controls and informs the narratives that the Media pumps out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eim8REOYLzA We can get into one world gov conspiracy theory here FAST. And illuminati, globalist agenda… But really we are asking—what is in the ZEIGIST that is shaping the minds and thoughts of humanity? And it is the spirit realm. Sounds Kooky?  Maybe, but it is common place in pop culture. We see the spirit realm and occult layed out plainly in shows like, Stranger Things, or Harry potter. Most people follow their sign, attend Taro card readings, and meditate to reach higher levels of consciousness through cleansing their auras.  Even the core religious faith teach that high places, and blood sacrifices are powerful to gain spiritual dominance. Very few people across the globe are truly athest—most believe in the new age spiritual realm.Hitler and the Nazis recognized they could gain dominance through channeling the Occult to gain strategy demonic empowerment. Eric Kurlander, professor of history at Stetson University and author of Hitler's Monsters: A Supernatural History of the Third Reich, for an eye-opening look at the occult ideas, esoteric sciences, and pagan religions touted by Nazi Germany in the service of power: https://youtu.be/96r_nvkC30YAlex Jones (I know I know) despite being hated and deep into many controversial conspiracies and wild theories, is one of the few people who speak on the global culture war through the lens of a supernatural battle for the hearts and minds of mankind. Alex shares at length on Joe Rogan's podcast about his theories. https://youtu.be/-5yh2HcIlkU (For the record, I do not endorse Alex Jones, nor to I listen to him. From what I have heard of him share on the supernatural most comes from a lens of focusing on and fighting forces of spiritual darkness using secular--linking to this show is not my endorsement of either Joe Rogan or Alex Jones). For all of Alex's misgivings . . . he does have one thing correct--there is a greater spiritual battle taking place, and if we only try to fight in the natural realm we will be stuck fighting our own shadows. Until next time… Be a purpose seeker, truth lover, and own your future. To take more steps to live a focus life to achieve your dreams and fulfill your destiny–get my book Anchored the Discipline to Stop Drifting.  https://amzn.to/2Vwb22nThank you for listening, and as always you can find me at:WhatsApp: +1-202-922-0220LucasSkrobot.comLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/lucasskrobotInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/lucasskrobot★ Support this podcast ★

Eh, probably not - but it's still worth an episode. This week we wrap ourselves in Old Glory and go alien/Nazi hunting as we revisit The Black Forest UFO Incident of 1936. In the final part of this series, From beginning to end, these occult principles were with the Nazis. This is a very brief overview of some of how their wacky beliefs carried them to power...and then to the grave. The Nazis believed themselves members of the so-called "master race," and sought to destroy those who fell under their category of "life unworthy of life." Once they were able to come into power, they marched alongside of death - literally. In part two of three of this series, The Nazi's were rising to power, while spreading their bat-shit ideas, enabling them to usher in a new era of widespread occult beliefs. Hitler was tolerant of occult beliefs, but it would be Heinrich Himmler who had the most obsession in the supernatural & the occult, even taking advice from his schizophrenic occult advisor. As the Nazi's would move closer to opening the door to stealing  ancient relics, real & fake, across Europe.[FOLLOW US and BONUS CONTENT]Join our Patreon, for just $5/month, get elbow deep! you will get access to our after show "After the Podcast is Afraid" plus more bonus episodes & content, just visit patreon.com/ordisstudios Visit Our Website: eventhepodcastisafraid.comFollow us on Twitter @PodcastAfraid Follow us on Instagram @PodcastAfraid Part of the Crawlspace Media Network [NAZIS & the OCCULT ETPIA SERIES]This series was researched & written by Stephanie Kemmerer, for "Even the Podcast is Afraid"[THIS EPISODE is SPONSORED BY]PODGO.CO is the easiest way for you to monetize your podcast, apply today to become a member & immediately be connected with advertisers that fit your audience P-O-D-G-O DOT C-OAudible by Amazon - FREE for 30 Days visit [http://www.audibletrial.com/PodcastAfraid] or visit the Sponsors page on [https://www.eventhepodcastisafraid.com/sponsors] & click the "Click Here" under the Audible Logo[FURTHER READING] "Hitler's Monsters: A Supernatural History of the Third Reich" by Eric Kurlander[MUSIC USED in this EPISODE] Music from https://filmmusic.io"In Your Arms" by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.com)License: CC BY (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)

In part one of three of this series, we bring you a personal story from our writer Stephanie Kemmerer when she visited the Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C. as we lead into the outlandish story of how the Nazis, twisted borderline racist ideas to their own liking and eventually inventing their own, the Nazis burned a path of destruction across Europe and systemically slaughtered millions of innocent people. The Nazis wanted to save Germany from the evildoers - the so-called racially impure; the Non-Aryans. Mixed in with this racialist foundation was a hearty helping of supernatural and occult beliefs - it is, of course, far easier to perpetrate evil in the name of religious or outlandish mythological beliefs.[FOLLOW US and BONUS CONTENT]Join our Patreon, for just $5/month, get elbow deep! you will get access to our after show "After the Podcast is Afraid" plus more bonus episodes & content, just visit patreon.com/ordisstudios Visit Our Website: eventhepodcastisafraid.comFollow us on Twitter @PodcastAfraid Follow us on Instagram @PodcastAfraid Part of the Crawlspace Media Network [NAZIS & the OCCULT ETPIA SERIES]This series was researched & written by Stephanie Kemmerer, for "Even the Podcast is Afraid"[THIS EPISODE is SPONSORED BY]Audible by Amazon - FREE for 30 Days visit [http://www.audibletrial.com/PodcastAfraid] or visit the Sponsors page on [https://www.eventhepodcastisafraid.com/sponsors] & click the "Click Here" under the Audible Logo[FURTHER READING] "Hitler's Monsters: A Supernatural History of the Third Reich" by Eric Kurlander[MUSIC USED in this EPISODE] Music from https://filmmusic.io"In Your Arms" by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.com)License: CC BY (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)

Tonight we have Lily Starling about "Russian Bots" and then Eric Kurlander Hitler's Monsters: A Supernatural History of the Third ReichThe Nazi fascination with the occult is legendary, yet today it is often dismissed as Himmler's personal obsession or wildly overstated for its novelty. Preposterous though it was, however, supernatural thinking was inextricable from the Nazi project. The regime enlisted astrology and the paranormal, paganism, Indo-Aryan mythology, witchcraft, miracle weapons, and the lost kingdom of Atlantis in reimagining German politics and society and recasting German science and religion. In this eye-opening history, Eric Kurlander reveals how the Third Reich's relationship to the supernatural was far from straightforward. Even as popular occultism and superstition were intermittently rooted out, suppressed, and outlawed, the Nazis drew upon a wide variety of occult practices and esoteric sciences to gain power, shape propaganda and policy, and pursue their dreams of racial utopia and empire.https://www.amazon.com/Hitlers-Monsters-Supernatural-History-Third/dp/0300189451/ref=as_sl_pc_qf_sp_asin_til?tag=theopprep-20&linkCode=w00&linkId=35ed375abd9a3f31379feca10af1c2c8&creativeASIN=0300189451This show is part of the Spreaker Prime Network, if you are interested in advertising on this podcast, contact us at https://www.spreaker.com/show/1198501/advertisement

While they were busy losing the war, the Nazi’s were also failing at acquiring another type of power – supernatural. And while we know these wastes of oxygen did unequivocally lose the war…some wonder about their success in the other. Did they capture the power magick in their final hours? Creating super soldiers, conducting mind control, and reanimating the dead? Not to mention chatting with aliens and building a secret base in Antarctica. Plus, what’s the best way to kill Nazi zombies? (Call of Duty) What’s the best Indiana Jones movie? (Last Crusade) And is Crystal Skulls considered canon? (Not by us). All of that and more on the podcast that prefers our Nazis as zombies in video games – Hysteria 51.Special thanks to this week’s research sources:BooksThe Occult Roots of Nazism | Nicholas Goodrick-ClarkeNazis and the Occult: The Dark Forces Unleashed by the Third Reich | Paul RolandBlack Sun: Aryan Cults, Esoteric Nazism, and the Politics of Identity | Nicholas Goodrick-ClarkeVideosHitler and the Occult | History ChannelNazis: The Occult Conspiracy - https://imdb.to/39px6kQHitler's Monsters: A Supernatural History of the Third Reich - https://bit.ly/37kOLZBMaria Orsic - The Goddess of the Devil: Hitler's Medium - https://bit.ly/3bH8C8WWebsitesAeon - https://bit.ly/2wbXCA4Occultism in Nazism/Wikipedia - https://bit.ly/37iORRGVölkisch Movement/Wikipedia - https://bit.ly/39uhZ9XThule Society/Wikipedia - https://bit.ly/38xfi7H|Guido von List/Wikipedia - https://bit.ly/31LMbdYVril/Wikipedia - https://bit.ly/2SHoUWmConspiracy Wiki - https://bit.ly/2SDRbNHWashington Post - https://wapo.st/2SDQ1ljCambridge University Press - https://bit.ly/2HilAfbThe Spectator - https://bit.ly/2SHStr5Crystalinks - https://bit.ly/39uNa53

The idea that there is some unholy connection between Nazism and occultism has a lengthy history. It long predates 1933, when the National Socialist party took power in Germany. But what’s behind that idea? Some top-ranking members of the party were deeply engaged with the occult, perhaps most notably Rudolf Hess and Heinrich Himmler. Was Nazi occultism just a predilection of a handful of Nazi elites, some weird novelty? No, in short, is the answer Professor Eric Kurlander gives in this astonishing history of occult ideas and their influence on National Socialism from its origins to the end of the Third Reich. The party drew upon border science, alternative religious traditions, mythologies, the paranormal, and all manner of esoteric ideas in ways that, Professor Kurlander argues, no other mass political party has ever done. What Kurlander calls a supernatural imaginary was in fact central to the entire project of National Socialism. Hitler’s Monsters: A Supernatural History of the Third Reich (Yale University Press, 2017) deals soberly with a provocative topic that has often been sensationalized. Even for those very knowledgeable of the Third Reich, the book–the result of years of archival research by a judicious and prolific scholar–will likely be quite unexpected.
