Phyllis acquires an AI program from Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), promising Victor that she will allow him to use it to take over Jabot, the company owned by his long-time adversary, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). However, Phyllis's true motives may be more intricate than they appear.  Y&R spoilers indicate Phyllis suggests to Victor that her animosity towards Jack, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), and others is the driving force behind her desire to seize Jabot. However, it seems unlikely that she would risk alienating her daughter, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), and son, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), by taking over the company that houses Summer's Marquetti. Ironically, it's Victor, not Jack, who Phyllis harbors genuine hatred for, stemming from past grievances.  Spoilers for Young and Restless give a twisted turn of events as Phyllis might have manipulated the AI to target Newman Enterprises instead of Jabot. The AI program, initially built by Cane with a backdoor control feature, could potentially be exploited by Phyllis to fool Victor into thinking he's in control, while she's the one pulling the strings.  More Y&R spoilers reveal Phyllis's masterful plot could lead to Victor's downfall and her ultimate triumph. Matt Patricia has two great players in the back-seven but they are going to be just okay at D-tackle (I like the end they picked up from UNC).
