What would you do with a copy of Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged? One questioneer needs any answer other than 'read it'. AMT418's questioneers also wonder how they film club scenes in Jersey Shore, what the Hitler Moustache was called pre-Hitler, what's in prop cigarettes, what to do about your neighbour's golf noise, and where all the decanters and pub toilet condom machines went. Join us as we dive headfirst into a world where the internet's greatest security weakness isn't hackers… it's Sharpies and teenage creativity. Kids have apparently cracked the code on online age verification by drawing moustaches on their faces like they're auditioning for a low-budget spy movie. Forget AI detection software, biometric scans, and cutting-edge tech—turns out all you need is a doodled disguise and the confidence of a 12-year-old who just discovered facial hair is optional. But just when you think humanity has peaked, we pivot to the medical world, where doctors are fixing irregular heartbeats using a technique that sounds less like modern science and more like a prank gone horribly, hilariously right. Yes, a finger. Yes, in a place that will make you question everything you thought you knew about anatomy, dignity, and doctor-patient trust exercises. From DIY digital disguises to medical miracles that feel like they should come with a punchline, this episode is a whirlwind tour of innovation, desperation, and decisions that absolutely passed a meeting somewhere. It's weird, it's wild, and it's proof that the future is both incredibly advanced… and deeply, deeply stupid this week on Hysteria 51.Links & Resources
This week on The Roz & Mocha Retro Show, it's all about SMELLS! We throw it back to 2013 when Roz got up close (maybe too close) during Movember and sniffed Maurie's moustache, plus a 2015 chat on the scents we absolutely love—and the ones we can't stand. And of course, we open the phones to hear about the smells you're obsessed with!
Send us Fan MailWe dive into a paranormal story from someone who claims an old woman's spirit has followed and protected him his entire life — which leads me to question whether I've got paranormal activity happening in my own house. Then it's onto a proper British problem… taxi drivers somehow never having change until the exact moment you owe them money. In “What the F?!” we explore the story of Ötzi the Iceman — a man whose body was discovered frozen in the Alps over 5,000 years after his death, complete with tattoos, weapons and a prehistoric murder mystery. And in Weird News… children are apparently bypassing online age checks in the dumbest way imaginable.Support the show

A. Gorka springing a surprise on Gemma that goes down like a fart in a lift...and it only gets worse from there. We cover a whole lot of "M"s this episode as the Montague Street Incorrigibles gather some Watsonians to study moustaches, bull pup Maddy gets a meritous medal (of sorts -- sure, it's a coin, but it's kinda like a medal), we talk about Musgraves, and wind up with a Moriarty mention on a Mediterranean voyage. Suspicious, isn't it?
Listen to today's podcast... Have you worn a milk moustache today? January 11th is milk day, the anniversary of milk being first delivered in glass bottles. I grew up on a dairy farm. Milk was a part of every meal. I can still remember my dad skimming the cream off the milk for his cereal and the first time I stayed with my aunt who ‘bought' her milk from the store, and thinking that it was so watery. Nothing at all, like what I was used to. Even after 7000 years of drinking it, milk is still very controversial. Many say we need it for bone growth, but there are those who say we shouldn't drink it, as it can increase our risk for certain diseases. Take One Action Today To Build Your #Resiliency! Tips For Building Resiliency and Celebrating Milk Day: Watch what you drink. Add more water and milk to your diet as opposed to pop and other sugary drinks. Studies show that kids and adults who drink milk are less likely to consume sugary drinks which add no nutritional value to their diet. If you are having trouble sleeping, try a cup of warm milk. The chemicals in milk, along with the warmth of the drink, can help to produce that sleepy feeling. So to honour my dad and brother, here is a little milk day humour….. Q: What did the farmer call the cow that had no milk? A: An udder failure. On this week's episode of The Therapy Crouch, things get a little deeper as Abbey and Peter dive into the realities of kindness, mental wellbeing and the pressures so many people face around Christmas. After a chaotic catch-up covering moustache disasters, school fairs, lost bank cards and black cab etiquette, the pair open up about a listener whose brave email sparked emotional conversations within his family. From there, Abbey and Pete explore the small habits that genuinely boost your mental health — from exercise and fresh air to connection, community and a good old-fashioned belly laugh. We hear stories about black cab confessions, health anxiety breakthroughs, childhood hymns, nostalgic comfort TV, and why talking is still the most underrated therapy of all.In the Agony Ab section they tackle group-chat politics, Christmas gifting dilemmas and thoughtful vs. sexy presents… with some truly unhinged suggestions from Pete. On this week's episode of The Therapy Crouch, the gang are back from their travels and there is a lot to unpack. Ross kicks things off with his dreamy sunrise snorkel with horses in Barbados, while Peter gives a full theme-park debrief after their “holiday of a lifetime” to Universal Studios — including the rides that nearly had him upside-down, inside-out and mildly incontinent. There's chaos from Fright Night, jet-lagged 6am adventures, and a heartfelt listener story that leads them into a surprisingly deep chat about turning 40, giving fewer f*cks and finding out who you really are. Abbey dives into her latest passive-aggressive Instagram threads (no context as usual), sparking debates about midlife crises, emotional burnout and why our brains obsess over insults more than compliments. In the Agony Abs, they help a listener whose partner double-booked their night out during peak firework season — leaving their terrified pooch in the middle. Plus, an emotional email from a mum navigating the reality of her kids moving to the other side of the world. It's a warm, chaotic, funny, emotional episode with plenty of wisdom… and even more unintentional nonsense.00:00 – Intro00:18 – Sunkissed Returns & Holiday Catch-Up00:55 – Ross's Dreamy Horse Snorkelling Experience01:46 – Saddle Sizes03:10 – Movember, Moustaches & the ‘Womb Broom' Comment04:51 – Orlando & Universal Studios Trip06:03 – Terrifying Rollercoasters & Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure07:20 – Universal Fright Night Chaos11:14 – Amazon's Surprise Gift Delivery15:46 – 'Threads' Begin: Passive-Aggressive Instagram Psychology17:45 – Life Begins or ends at 40 & Midlife Wobbles28:03 – Dinner Plans & Relationship CompromiseFind great deals on the things you love https://www.ebay.co.uk/Email: thetherapycrouch@gmail.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thetherapycrouchpodcastTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thetherapycrouch Website: https://thetherapycrouch.com/ For more from Peterhttps://twitter.com/petercrouchFor more from Abbeyhttps://www.instagram.com/abbeyclancyOur clips channelhttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZntcv96YhN8IvMAKsz4Dbg#TheTherapyCrouch #AbbeyAndPete #RelationshipAdvice #Podcast Hosted on Acast.
