Logan Stankoven made his highly anticipated NHL Debut this weekend in Carolina. The Dallas Stars pulled out a huge 2-1 victory of the Hurricanes to stop a four game skid during a tough road trip. However, Stankoven provided a ton of the excitement, the AHL leading scorer this season did not register a point, but he looked like an everyday NHL player that fit right in. Joey is pleading the Stars to keep in the lineup, he's a responsible defender and may be the missing piece to complete the pair of Jamie Benn and Wyatt Johnston. It also makes it easier to move off players such as Ty Dellandrea as the deadline creeps closer. We shift to the Islanders, who won the first meeting in the first game under new Head Coach Patrick Roy. Since then they have struggled and find themselves 7 points out of a playoff spot.
