Triss joins Ciri on one of her (drug-induced) prophetic visions. The prophecy: pain and death. Triss also discusses her experience in the war against Nilfgaard: pain and death. Triss tries to get Geralt interested in world events, but he refuses. Probably because of the pain and death. ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★ (00:16) - Intro (00:31) - Recap (01:06) - Chapter 3 (17:04) - Outro We are Alice Sullivan, Micah Sparkman, and Jeff Lake.Find us at armadillo.club!Music: Intrigue by Alexandr Zhelanov licensed under CC-BY 4.0.

Charli from Austria and Kim from Germany join Alyssa for our discussion of Netflix's The Witcher Episode 206 “Dear Friend”. Very important bits include: how the birth of the elven baby will change the alliance between the elves and Nilfgaard, how resentment poisons the self rather than harming the object of resentment, Lara Dorren—and consequently, Ciri—as genetic weapons, breaking down the fight between Geralt and the Michelet Brothers, and my take on the macro villain arc for Season 2. Plus: Kingsman, Deadpool, and The Flying Tooth. The full episode transcript, show notes, merchandise store, and access to our social platforms are available at breakfastinbeauclair.com.
Discussion of The Time of Contempt, Chapter 2 After what feels like years of teasing, the Wild Hunt has finally made its appearance! And boy is she scary. Sapkowski has managed yet again to take traditional Tolkien-y tropes and flip them on their heads – the Nazgûl, armies of the undead, and weather-controlling wizards to name a few. Our central characters are finally reunited, and primed to move forward on their quest – but where to? We certainly don't know, and we love it. We also discuss the uncomfortably eerie familiarity of the rising (and increasingly normalized) fascism in the wake of Nilfgaard's takeover. Take two podcasts, four different hosts, three strong whiskeys, one cider, two Witcher-themed party games and a whole mess of questionable takes and what do you get? Our very first crossover episode! Get comfortable and pour yourself a drink (trust us on that one) as we spend over two hours talking all things Witcher and drinking all things alcoholic with Brett and Lucy, the two hosts of On the Path. Important questions are asked and answered, like…would you rather get hunted by Nilfgaard, the Brotherhood or the Wild Hunt? Which of Geralt's three Witcher brothers would you f*ck, marry or kill? And will Valerie and Lucy just finish the damn books already? Be sure to follow On the Path on Twitter at @witcherpodcast and Instagram at @witcherpod. With Ciri's situation turning serious and the Deathless Mother looking strong, we knew we needed a whiskey to match—so, we crack open a bottle of 120-proof Knob Creek Single Barrel Select Bourbon. With a whiskey that powerful, our survival this episode, much like that of Nilfgaard's generals, is not guaranteed. But if we go down, you know it won't be until after we've thoroughly critiqued Cahir's bad allyship, Jaskier's poor choice of bathwater and Voleth Meir's completely bonkers plan. Plus, Valerie has words for Geralt, Tim has words for Vilgefortz and they both have words that they aren't quite able to pronounce.

Benvenuti o bentornati su mangianastri, io sono Jonathan e oggi parliamo della colonna sonora di The Witcher 3 the wild Hunt.SITOGRAFIAWIKIPEDIAThe Witcher (serie)The Witcher 3 Wild HuntThe Witcher 2 Assassins of king CD ProjektGeralt di RiviaCiriPersonaggi di The WitcherMarcin PrzybyłowiczMikolai StroinskiPercival ARTICOLIA Relatively Formal Analysis on the Sounds of The Witcher 3: Wild HuntSoundtrack Review: The Witcher 3 Wild HuntThe Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – is this OST perfect?Music Director Marcin Przybyłowicz about the musical approach of The Witcher 3Interview: 'The Witcher 3' Composer Mikolai Stroinski Talks About How Music Helps Bring The Game To LifeChild of the Elder Blood: A Semiotics of Folklorism in the Soundtrack of The Witcher 3: Wild HuntWhy The Witcher 3 endures, five years laterVIDEOGDC 2016: Slavic Adaptation of Music in The Witcher 3 Wild huntCreating The Sound - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Official Developer DiaryWiki di The WitcherQuesto episodio non è a fini di lucroI diritti dei brani musicali di questo brano non appartengono al sottoscritto. This week on Hotel Vicarious, Daria and Jenny unpack the Witcher's penultimate episode. The show hits us pretty early on with everyone slowly just descending into chaos and despair. Will Yennafer be the teacher Ciri has needed all along despite not being able to get back her power? We finally get the reunion we've been waiting for all damn season. Back in Cintra, Fringilla is desperately trying to keep control of her grasp on Nilfgaard. And finally, despite Geralt's best efforts there's a new monster on the loose… Jenny and Daria also talk about how January lasted five months, our impractical fashion choices in our 20s, Jenny talks about how she's loving The Book of Boba Fett and even more now with this week's surprise cameo. Well pals we are officially at the half way point in The Witcher Season 2! In this episode we get to see our girl Triss arrive at Kaer Morhen, having been summoned by Vesemir to help Ciri with her chaos and also to help her because he knows a bunch of unemotional trained monster killers aren't going to know what to do with a teenage girl. And we are here for it!!! We also get one reunion we've been waiting on for ages now: Yennafer and Jaskier finally meet again as he helps her and Cahir escape to Nilfgaard but not before we hear Jaskier's heartbroken ballad “Burn Butcher Burn” as he confirms what we all knew to be true - Jaskier had his heartbroken by Geralt on that mountain in Season 1. We also spend a lot of time talking about Daria almost being finished Succession and how much we love sad boy Kendall Roy, and how Jenny enjoyed Ghostbusters: Afterlife!
