Some are rare works by Dilip Kumar, Balraj Sahani and Gulzar.-----स्वयं प्रकाश का जीवन परिचय : 1947  में जन्मे स्वयं प्रकाश हिंदी साहित्यकार थे जिन्होंने कहानीकार के रूप में प्रसिद्धि पाई। साथ ही उन्होंने उपन्यास तथा हिंदी की और भी कई विधाओं में लिखा। स्वयं प्रकाश 'हिंदुस्तान जिंक लिमिटेड' में सतर्कता अधिकारी और हिंदी अधिकारी रहे थे। विगत लगभग दो दशकों से वह भोपाल में रह रहे थे। प्रगतिशील लेखक संघ की मुखपत्रिका ‘वसुधा' और बच्चों की चर्चित पत्रिका ‘चकमक' के संपादक रहे स्वयं प्रकाश के एक दर्जन से अधिक कहानी संग्रह और पांच उपन्यास प्रकाशित हुए थे।  स्वयं प्रकाश के लिखे उपन्यास 'जलते जहाज पर' (1982), 'ज्योति रथ के सारथी' (1987), 'उत्तर जीवन कथा' (1993), 'बीच में विनय' (1994) और 'ईंधन' (2004) हैं। ‘सूरज कब निकलेगा' राजस्थान के मारवाड़ इलाके में 70 के दशक में आई बाढ़ पर लिखी गयी कहानी है। राजस्थान स्वयं प्रकाश की कहानियों में अक्सर पाया जाता था।परिचयउन्होंने न केवल  हिंदी से एमए और  पीएचडी की, इसके अलावा उन्होंने मैकेनिकल इंजीनियरिंग की डिग्री भी हासिल की थी। कहानी लेखन शुरू करने से पहले वह कविताएं लिखते थे और  उन्होंने पांच उपन्यास लिखे। साथ ही जबकि नौ कहानी संग्रह प्रकाशित हो चुके हैं।स्वयं प्रकाश को वरिष्ठ कथाकार प्रेमचंद की परंपरा का महत्वपूर्ण कथाकार माना जाता है। इनकी कहानियों का अनुवाद रूसी भाषा में भी हो चुका है।

Federica Muzzarelli"C'è un tempo e un luogo"Silvia CamporesiCentro della Fotografia, Romawww.centrodellafotografia.it“C'è un tèmpo e un luogo giusto pèrchè qualsiasi cosa abbia principio e finè…”dal film Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) di Peter WeirLa mostra C'è un tempo e un luogo, che apre al pubblico sino al 29 giugno nei nuovi spazi del Centro della Fotografia di Roma Capitale, è curata da Federica Muzzarelli, ed è dedicata al lavoro fotografico di Silvia Camporesi.Il titolo trae ispirazione dal film Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) di Peter Weir, opera cult intrisa di mistero e sospensione temporale, in cui i luoghi diventano protagonisti assoluti di una narrazione senza soluzione e nasce da una riflessione profonda sul concetto di frattura: tra reale e artificiale, natura e cultura, presenza e assenza, passato e presente.Come nel film, anche nelle immagini di Silvia Camporesi il tempo sembra arrestarsi e lo spazio si carica di un'ènèrgia ènigmatica. I luoghi – veri, alterati, ricostruiti o immaginati – non sono mai sèmplici soggètti, ma l'èsito visibilè di un procèsso più profondo: il viaggio, l'èspèriènza fisica è mèntalè dèll'artista attravèrso tèrritori gèografici, storici èd èmotivi.“Sono i luoghi i protagonisti indiscussi delle fotografie di Silvia Camporesi: veri, falsi, modificati, inventati, vissuti, stravolti o, invece, solo trovati. Da questa testimonianza prende forma la ricerca sulle “sante vive”, donne in fama di santità che, tra la fine del Quattrocento e i primi decenni del Cinquecento, divennero figure di riferimento per principi e signori in un'Italia attraversata da guerre e crisi politiche. Nelle corti rinascimentali la profetessa di corte finisce per sostituire l'astrologo, offrendo ai “principi nuovi” una legittimazione carismatica e popolare. The best stories are the ones that take you on an unforgettable ride. You go tumbling through places you have never been before, taking turns between belief and disbelief, pausing only to admire the leaps of the writer's imagination and coming out at the end chuckling with delight. This is one such story by Nizam Shah. I haven't been able to find much about this writer. Google doesn't reveal much as his is a common name (much like Arti). I gather from the text that he was writing in pre-independence India. En algunos casos, la revelación ha incluido cambios a las normas y prácticas de la Iglesia. Las Declaraciones Oficiales 1 y 2 anunciaron esa clase de revelación: una llevó a poner fin a la práctica del matrimonio plural, y la otra puso las bendiciones del sacerdocio al alcance de las personas de todas las razas. Cambios como esos son parte de lo que significa tener una “iglesia verdadera y viviente” (Doctrina y Convenios 1:30), con un profeta verdadero y viviente, y guiada por el Dios verdadero y viviente. Pero la verdad eterna no cambia, aunque nuestra comprensión de ella sí lo haga. Y a veces, la revelación arroja luz adicional sobre la verdad. Los Artículos de Fe cumplen con ese propósito esclarecedor. La Iglesia está firmemente fundada en la verdad eterna, sin embargo, puede crecer y cambiar “según [la] voluntad [del Señor], acomodando sus misericordias a las condiciones de los hijos de los hombres” (Doctrina y Convenios 46:15). Their work dances a difficult dialectic as it embraces a fundamental contradiction: confronting and resisting the real harm erupting from the war-makers, and providing paths for radical reorientation for people who (like all of us) can be both perpetrators of harm and victims of a racial capitalist system.
