Send us Fan MailA popular claim these days is that God prohibited pork, shellfish, and other animals because they're unhealthy, unclean scavengers, or dangerous for human consumption. But is that actually what the Bible says?In this video, Dr. Solberg examines a viral claim that the dietary laws of Leviticus 11 were given for health reasons and test that idea against Scripture itself. He looks at the biblical meaning of "clean" and "unclean," explores the Hebrew concepts of ritual purity, and examines the reason God explicitly gives for Israel's food laws. Were the dietary restrictions primarily about nutrition? Were they intended for all humanity? Why were Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Noah allowed to eat foods that would later be restricted under the Mosaic Covenant? And what does the Torah itself say about the purpose of these commandments?Rather than relying on modern Hebrew Roots and other Torah-observant movement theories, let's go directly to the biblical text and let Scripture speak for itself. Topics covered:• Leviticus 11 and the prohibition of pork• The Hebrew words ṭāhôr (clean) and ṭāmēʾ (unclean)• Ritual purity versus health regulations• Why Israel's dietary laws were given• Leviticus 20:25–26 and being "set apart"• Genesis 9 and the pre-Sinai diet• Common misconceptions about biblical food laws• Hebrew Roots claims examined in light of ScriptureThe Biblical Roots MinistriesOur websiteOur YouTube ChannelProf. Solberg's BlogSupport our Ministry (Thank you!)

In this powerful message from 1 Samuel 3–4, we explore the calling of Samuel and the downfall of Eli's house. This sermon reveals how to discern God's voice, why wisdom matters more than knowledge, and what happens when leaders refuse to deal with sin. You'll also discover a critical warning: God's presence cannot be used like a tool — obedience and repentance are what truly bring victory. This message will challenge your spiritual awareness, leadership responsibility, and your willingness to fully surrender to God. In this teaching from 1 Samuel 3–4, we examine Samuel's calling and the consequences of Eli's failure to correct sin in his household. This message dives deep into spiritual discernment, leadership responsibility, and the danger of treating God's presence as a tool instead of honoring Him through obedience. What does a nuclear-armed Iran really mean for the United States, Israel, and the rest of the world? Former Israeli Ambassador to the United States and New York Times bestselling historian Michael Oren joins the show for a powerful, unfiltered conversation recorded amid active missile strikes on Tel Aviv. Ambassador Oren breaks down why the current war with Iran is not just Israel's fight — it's America's too. From Iranian proxy attacks on U.S. military bases to Iran's rapidly advancing ballistic missile program, Oren makes the case that the threat is real, urgent, and deeply misunderstood by the American public. In this episode, we cover: What it's like living under missile fire during Passover in Tel Aviv Why a nuclear Iran is a global threat — not just a Middle Eastern one The Cold War strategy that could defeat the Iranian regime without boots on the ground How Iran's jihadist ideology makes it far more dangerous than North Korea The alarming rise of antisemitism on American college campuses post-October 7th Why "Israel dragged us into this war" is a classic antisemitic trope — and who's spreading it Whether you support or question U.S. involvement in the Iran conflict, this episode is essential listening for anyone who wants to understand the geopolitical stakes of one of the most consequential moments in modern Middle Eastern history. Why Israel's Geography Makes It Vulnerable Larry Alex Taunton returns to his podcast after extensive travel (including Davos, Poland, Israel, and Paris) and explains why he withheld commentary on the Israel–Gaza war until he could get “boots on the ground” and hear perspectives from Palestinians and the IDF. Drawing on lessons from historian M.R.D. Foot, he argues geography strongly shapes national history and says Israel's small size, hostile neighbors, and the presence of Gaza and the West Bank create severe strategic vulnerability, compounded by overreliance on technology and insufficient troops on the border before the October 7, 2023 attacks. He rejects claims of stand-down orders, frames October 7 as an evil act of war, and says U.S. military support is crucial to Israel's survival. He also discusses tensions in Western media discourse, distinctions between Islam as ideology and Judaism as ethnicity, and briefly promotes merchandise and books.

Trump's Iran War: Strategic Confusion With No Way Out | Dr. Samir Puri What happens when the world's most powerful military goes to war with no clear objective and no exit strategy? Dr. Samir Puri — former UK diplomat, Chatham House director, and bestselling author of Westlessness — joins Maz fresh from the Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi, where he sat in the room with Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister as the attacks began. In this episode, Samir breaks down why the US is playing both arsonist and firefighter in the Middle East — and why that contradiction may define America's strategic position for years to come. What we cover: Why Israel has a clear objective in this war, and the US has only confusion How Iran is winning the global sympathy battle despite being an odious regime The moment India quietly broke with Washington — and why Modi wasn't told about the attack How the Strait of Hormuz becomes a pressure point without Iran firing a single shot Why Europe is "moving like a snail while everyone else runs laps" China's calculated silence — and what they're actually gaining from this The "forever war" trap: why the US may be policing these waters indefinitely A standout line from Samir: "This is not just a live fire weapons display. What it will show is that the United States is liable to engage in military activities for misconstrued goals — and is not a stabilizing force." If you want analysis that goes beyond the headlines, this is the episode.
In this episode of The Andrew Parker Show, Andrew Parker returns from Israel just hours before Israeli airspace closed as military operations began against Iran's regime.Drawing from his firsthand experience in Israel and decades of geopolitical history, Andrew examines the escalating confrontation between Israel and Iran, the long shadow of the 1979 Iranian Revolution, and the role the United States has played over the past four decades.Andrew argues that the destabilizing force in the Middle East has long been the Iranian regime and explores why decisive action may reshape the region. He discusses the consequences of past diplomatic decisions, including the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, and the broader implications for Western security, the rule of law, and the future of U.S.–Israel relations. This episode also examines the political divisions within the United States surrounding Israel, the rise of isolationist voices on both sides of the political aisle, and the strategic importance of Israel as a democratic ally in a volatile region.Andrew shares why he believes the current moment could represent a turning point that brings the Middle East closer to lasting peace than at any time in recent history.Topics covered include:• The conflict between Israel and Iran and the strategic stakes in the region• The legacy of the Iranian Revolution and decades of geopolitical instability• The role of U.S. leadership and foreign policy decisions• The growing political divide in America over Israel• The rule of law and the dangers of appeasement• Why Israel remains one of America's most critical alliesAs always, Andrew closes with a reminder that even in times of global conflict, the values of community, strength, and moral clarity matter.Visit TheAndrewParkerShow.com to subscribe and explore more episodes.Support the showThe Andrew Parker Show - Politics, Israel & The Law. Iran's Supreme Leader is dead. After coordinated US-Israeli strikes, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei — the man who led a regime devoted to Israel's destruction — is gone. What does this mean for Israel? For the Middle East? For the Jewish people?October 7 was meant to ignite a regional war and isolate Israel. Instead, we may be witnessing the weakening of the very forces that sought Israel's erasure. In this episode, Rabbi Eyal Bitton explores:• The ideological role Iran played in funding Hamas and Hezbollah• The difference between the Iranian regime and the Iranian people• Why normalization with Saudi Arabia may not have stopped• What this moment means for Jewish identity and Jewish pride• Why Israel's permanence matters for Jews everywhereFor 2,000 years, the Jewish people lived without sovereignty. The destruction of Israel would mean the destruction — or expulsion — of half the world's Jews. This moment may signal something very different. A new Middle East. One that lives with Israel — not against it.
There are moments in history when God reveals what has been hidden. In this powerful message, Pastor Ralph Royea walks through the entire story of Esther and reveals how this ancient scroll speaks directly to the time we are living in today. From Mordecai refusing to bow… to Esther stepping into her calling… to the dramatic reversal where the enemy falls into his own trap… This message reveals how God positions His people for such a time as this. You may feel hidden. You may feel small. You may feel insignificant. But God places people exactly where they need to be when the moment comes. Just like Esther. In this message you'll discover: • Why Israel remains the center of world attention • The spiritual battle behind global events • Why believers must refuse to bow to the culture • How God turns evil plans into divine reversals • Why YOU may have been placed in this generation The hidden are being revealed. And the turning point is coming.
A straight-talk Continuation on Dispensationalism and why it guards the Truth. If you want the Bible to stay clear, connected, and honest, this episode is for you. In Ep. 857 of The Smith and Rowland Show (February 20, 2026), the conversation keeps moving through "Dispensationalism: Guardian of the Truth." This isn't about chasing a new label. It's about keeping every part of Scripture in place, so the message doesn't get trimmed, twisted, or replaced. You'll hear why "old-fashioned" doesn't mean outdated, it means proven. You'll also hear why dishonor for what's "old" can slide into dishonor for Scripture itself. From there, the discussion gets practical and biblical, showing how Dispensationalism helps keep continuity across the whole Bible. Covered in this episode: * Why Dispensationalism functions as a "guardian of the Truth" * How God "dispenses" Truth, what the word means, and why it matters * The classic seven administrations (innocence, conscience, human government, promise, law, grace, kingdom), plus the transitions between them * Why Israel and the church are distinct without creating "two Gods" or "two ways of salvation" * How labels like "Christian Zionism" get used as insults, and how a dispensational framework answers the confusion * What "obedience to what God says" means in every era, from Noah to the present gospel If you care about reading the Bible plainly, keeping Israel in the text, and refusing to cut out hard passages, this Continuation will help you think straight and stay anchored. Subscribe for new episodes of The Smith and Rowland Show each week and share this with someone who's been told Dispensationalism is "new" or "dangerous." #Dispensationalism #BibleTeaching #ChristianPodcast #IsraelAndTheChurch #Truth
With global tensions rising, Israel back in the headlines, and America facing a profound spiritual crisis, 2026 is shaping up to be a pivotal year. In this timely and sobering episode of The Stakscast, Erick Stakelbeck is joined by Pastor Jack Hibbs, senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, host of the Jack Hibbs Podcast, and author of the new book Watching & Waiting: A 40-Day End Times Devotional—Living Today in Light of Tomorrow. Pastor Hibbs delivers biblical clarity for a confusing moment, explaining why the rise of Islam in the West, the explosion of antisemitism across the political spectrum, and the growing hostility toward Israel are all unmistakable signs of the times. From Muslim mayors governing major Western cities to the unholy alliance between Islamists and the radical left, Hibbs warns that Judeo-Christian civilization is under direct assault—just as Scripture foretold. The discussion ranges far and wide, connecting today's headlines to timeless biblical truth, including: Why Islamism and radical leftism are joining forces against the West How antisemitism has gone mainstream—and why it's spiritually driven Why Israel remains the centerpiece of God's prophetic timeline The Trump–Netanyahu alliance California as a frontline battlefield for America's future Why political and economic revival isn't enough without spiritual revival Pastor Hibbs reminds viewers that Bible prophecy was not given to scare us—but to prepare us. As deception spreads and discernment fades, this is a powerful call for believers to return to God's Word, stand with Israel, and live with eternal perspective. Learn more about your ad choices. Episode 2.79In this episode, Michael and Zach walk through Joshua 9–12, a pivotal section of the book that contrasts Israel acting without Yahweh with Yahweh fighting for Israel. We examine Israel's deception by the Gibeonites in Joshua 9, where careful reasoning replaces prayer—and obedience becomes costly but necessary. From there, the narrative turns to the southern and northern campaigns (Joshua 10–11), highlighting Yahweh as the true warrior who grants victory, commands obedience, and fulfills His promises over time rather than through a quick conquest.Along the way, we address key theological and historical questions:• Why Israel honored a deceptive oath• The meaning of Joshua's long-day prayer• Divine sovereignty and human obedience in battle• Why “taking the land” differs from fully “possessing” it• How Joshua's obedience models covenant faithfulnessThe episode concludes with Joshua 12's king list, showing the scope of Yahweh's victory and the unity of God's people—east and west of the Jordan. The takeaway is clear: victory comes not from strategy or strength, but from dependence on the Lord who fights for His people.Find our videocast here: https://youtu.be/pxIEkAN7v00Merch here: https://take-2-podcast.printify.me/Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/reakt-music/deep-stoneLicense code: 2QZOZ2YHZ5UTE7C8Find more Take 2 Theology content at http://www.take2theology.com
In this powerful episode, we sit down with Jonathan Harounoff, British-Iranian journalist and author of Unveiled: Inside Iran's Woman, Life, Freedom Revolt. Jonathan takes us inside the Woman, Life, Freedom movement—how it began, why it refuses to die, and why the regime continues to answer peaceful protest with barbaric force. Drawing on years of reporting and deeply personal conversations with Iranians inside the country and across the diaspora, he shares the brutal realities of life under the regime—and the extraordinary courage of people who keep standing up anyway. We talk about hunger, fear, and economic collapse. About mothers, daughters, and young people risking everything. About why the regime blames Israel and the West—and what Iranians are actually fighting for: dignity, choice, basic freedom, and a future without constant terror. We also ask a question that feels almost unthinkable, and yet possible: What would a free Iran mean for the Middle East, and for the world? This is a sobering yet hopeful conversation about sacrifice, resilience, and the power of ordinary people to challenge unimaginable tyranny and change history. Memorable Quotes: "There's a very clear distinction between the Islamic Republic and the 92 million Iranians it governs." "This is a proud, resilient civilization with thousands of years of history—and they're not giving it up for a 47-year-old regime." "The regime will blame Israel, the U.S., even 'cloud theft'—anything except its own mismanagement." "Women were deliberately shot in the eyes to leave a permanent mark." "A free Iran wouldn't just transform the Middle East—it would transform the world." In Part 2 of Standing Firm in Babylon, Dr Thomas Fretwell continues this timely New Year message by taking us deep into Daniel chapter 1, exploring how God's people can stand firm in a hostile culture shaped by ideology, indoctrination, and spiritual opposition. Building on Part 1, this sermon traces Israel's captivity to Babylon and shows how the same ancient strategies are still at work today. From the indoctrination of young people to the reshaping of identity, truth, and worship, Babylon's methods are exposed and Scripture gives us the answer. In this message you will discover: - Why Israel went into captivity and how forsaking God's Word always leads to bondage - How Babylon sought to re-educate, rename, and reshape God's people - Why young people are the primary target - How Daniel and his friends resisted pressure through conviction, the Word, and prayer - The spiritual roots behind modern ideological movements and global unrest - What current events in Iran reveal about ancient alliances and present dangers - How believers today can live faithfully in the midst of cultural, political, and spiritual pressure At the heart of this message stands a powerful truth: one resolute, prayerful believer grounded in God's Word can change history. Daniel was just a teenager—but he had already made up his mind to honour God at any cost. “Daniel made up his mind that he would not defile himself…” (Daniel 1:8) Become a supporter at: www.patreon.com/theologyandapologetics Visit: www.ezrafoundation.org/ www.theologyandapologetics.com/ Listen to the Theology & Apologetics Podcast on Spotify: open.spotify.com/show/2lviMYP... Episode 2.73What if the key to reading the book of Joshua isn't the battles—but the burials? In this episode, Michael and Zach look at Joshua through an unexpected lens: four funerals that frame the book and quietly preach its theology. From the opening words after Moses' death to the closing scene with Joshua, Joseph, and Eleazar laid to rest, these funerals function as bookends that teach us how to read Joshua rightly.Rather than a man-centered story of conquest, Joshua presents a God-centered testimony of promise, presence, and perseverance. The land is a gift from Yahweh, courage flows from His nearness, and obedience is rooted in His Word—not personal greatness. Even the final burials are not anticlimactic; they are theological monuments, planted in the promised land as physical proof that God keeps His word. This episode explores:-Why Joshua opens and closes with death—and why that matters-How Joshua is intentionally framed as a “new Moses,” without replacing Yahweh-What the burial of Joseph's bones reveals about long-term faith and God's patience-Why Israel's unity is emphasized in moments of leadership transition-How the book ends with both confidence in God's faithfulness and longing for final victoryThe book of Joshua isn't just reporting history—it's preaching through history. And when read this way, the funerals don't close the story. They point forward, reminding us that God's promises outlive His servants, and that the final rest is still ahead.Find our videocast here: https://youtu.be/gGFI_HUs85EMerch here: https://take-2-podcast.printify.me/Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/reakt-music/deep-stoneLicense code: 2QZOZ2YHZ5UTE7C8Find more Take 2 Theology content at http://www.take2theology.com

Sandra Teplinsky is an American-Israeli Messianic Jew, former attorney, and author based in Jerusalem. Raised on the South Side of Chicago, Sandra experienced antisemitism early in life—an upbringing that shaped both her faith journey and her long-term focus on helping the church understand Israel through a biblical lens. Through decades of study and ministry, she has written and updated Why Still Care About Israel to address common theological misconceptions, church-history blind spots, and the interpretive frameworks that still shape how many Christians think about Israel today. In this episode of The Wow Factor, Brad sits down with Sandra to explore why so many people are asking the wrong questions about Israel, and why the better starting point is, "Who is our God, and what is He doing?" Sandra shares a defining calling moment from her time in Los Angeles during the late Jesus Movement era, where she describes sensing Jesus' grief and love for the Jewish people. From there, the conversation moves into antisemitism, what it is, how it spreads, and how certain theological ideas can unintentionally fuel it. Sandra explains supersessionism (often called replacement theology), points listeners to Romans 9–11 as foundational, and describes why humility, repentance, and Scripture-led thinking matter as global hostility rises and Israel remains central in the news. "Israel is the apple of God's eye, whoever would harm Israel is like sticking a finger in the eye of God." – Sandra Teplinsky "The ultimate question isn't, 'Are you for this side or that side?' The ultimate question is: Who is our God?" – Sandra Teplinsky "Paul cautions Gentile believers: don't be arrogant… Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the fullness comes in." – Sandra Teplinsky This Week on The Wow Factor: How Brad met Sandra through a chaotic Israel trip—and why her book stood out immediately Sandra's childhood experience with antisemitism and how it shaped her pursuit of truth A working definition of antisemitism and why it's not only external behavior Sandra's Los Angeles calling moment and a lifelong focus on praying for Israel's salvation "Apple of His eye" and what spiritual blindness can look like in the church Why Israel is rarely taught clearly in many Western churches and seminaries The impact of church-history interpretation shifts on modern theology Supersessionism / replacement theology: what it is and why it matters Romans 9–11 as a framework for God's ongoing purposes for Israel End-times curiosity, modern Aliyah, and rising pressure on Jewish communities worldwide The story of "S" and how Scripture confronted hatred at the heart level Practical steps: humility, repentance, and asking the Holy Spirit to reveal wrong thinking Why blessing Israel can't just be transactional—and needs to be rooted in loving God Sandra Teplinsky's Word of Wisdom: Start with humility. Happy New Year dear listeners! Please join us as we dive into 1 & 2 Kings. Kate called this a roller coaster ride and that is spot on! We see the rise and fall of God's Kingdom through the rise and fall of His kings. These two books were originally one, written in Israel's exile to show WHY Israel was there. From his deathbed, David tells Solomon, “... keep the charge of the LORD your God, walking in His ways and keeping His statutes, His commandments, his rules, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses…” This connects with Jesus' teaching in Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” We must remember to put God first and keep Him there!Solomon asks God for wisdom to rule His people. The Lord was pleased with his prayer. Sadly, that undivided focus on God changed, after he married 700 wives. Solomon was led into idol worship. His divided heart reminds us how important it is to guard ours. There are a few righteous kings and many unrighteous, this goes with the narrow and wide gates Jesus talked about. Kate mentioned that we do not drift to the top. We must be intentional in order to live in a way pleasing to God, it doesn't just happen. A few kings were focused on the Lord but many more were focused on themselves. The message of repent, renew, restore is how God gives us all hope. We realize He was with them long ago and He is with us today. What an awesome God we serve! We must trust Him and recognize the joy that we receive when we seek to please Him. May 2026 bring you into a deeper relationship with our wondrous Creator!

After Hamas's barbaric October 7th attack, we watched a worldwide explosion of anti-Semitism — from elite universities to the streets of Western capitals, and even inside the halls of Congress. At the same time, Israel has been fighting a multi-front war against Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran, while the Trump administration reshapes the entire Middle East map.In this episode of Life Lessons with Dr. Bob, Dr. Bob is joined by Alex Traiman, CEO and Jerusalem Bureau Chief of Jewish News Syndicate (JNS), one of the clearest, most fact-driven voices on Israel and the war.Together they break down:- Why “anti-Zionism” is just rebranded Jew hatred and part of a broader anti-Western agenda- The media's lies about “genocide” and “famine” in Gaza — and what's actually happening on the ground- Why Israel is emerging as a military, technological and moral superpower in the region- The hostage deal, the ceasefire, and whether Israel should have used overwhelming force from day one-What Americans who support Israel should actually do in terms of giving, advocacy and policyThis episode cuts through media spin and political noise to reveal what's actually happening in Israel, why Jew hatred is surging worldwide, and what Americans must do right now to stand with the only democracy in the Middle East.
