Titus 2:15 "With ALL Authority"

This bible study centers on the authority of church elders, particularly in light of Titus 2:11-15. Elders are called to declare sound doctrine, encourage the faithful, and rebuke error with God-given authority, rooted in scripture and demonstrated through a life of integrity. This authority, however, can be abused, leading to spiritual manipulation and control, as seen historically and in modern contexts. The solution lies in a plurality of leadership, adherence to Sola Scriptura, and a focus on love, humility, and accountability. The goal is to build up the church through sound doctrine and loving discipline, always pointing people to Christ.#titus2 #sounddoctrine #churchleadership #spiritualauthority #elders #reformedtheology #biblicalpreaching #churchdiscipline #spiritualabuse #solascriptura Podcast: https://open.spotify.com/episode/0r9zl29K94XogLUHM19gAI?si=10dZ8fYORN-vmM3uH5lK3wwww.ReformedRookie.comPodcast: https://anchor.fm/reformedrookieFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheReformedRookie Twitter: https://twitter.com/NYapologistSemper Reformanda!

Megachurch Burnout: Why The Protestant Gentleman is Leaving the Non-Denominational Church | Reaction

Jeremy Jeremiah, Orthodox Christian, and host of today's Cloud of Witnesses episode, reacts and responds to Dillon Baker of The Protestant Gentleman podcast (https://www.youtube.com/@theprotestantgentleman) testimony that he, Dillon, is leaving the Non-Denominational church, and why. What if the Sunday you know has drifted far from the church you need? We follow a thoughtful journey out of a non-denominational megachurch toward a rooted, reverent, and sacramental vision of Christian life. The conversation starts with authority and structure: why do so many churches teach different things, and who decides? From sola scriptura to elder boards with conflicting interpretations, we unpack how fragmentation becomes normal when there's no visible, historic body to anchor doctrine and practice. We trace the journey out of a non-denominational megachurch toward a historic, sacramental, and accountable expression of the church. Along the way we examine authority, discipleship, pastoral care, reverence, and why communion belongs at the center.• identifying fragmentation born of solo interpretation and weak structures• contrasting seeker models with worship for the baptized• reclaiming the pastor as present shepherd, not executive• rejecting a popular gospel that mutes sin and judgment• restoring reverence through sacred space, symbols, and creeds• embracing participatory liturgy over passive consumption• naming the limits of unformed community group leadership• elevating communion and baptism as the church's heartbeat• counting the relational cost of leaving and discerning next steps• inviting conversation about apostolic continuity and unityFrom there, we move into discipleship and the true purpose of Sunday. If church is designed as a seeker venue, believers become spectators and the gospel gets softer. We make the case that the gathered church should be for the baptized—shaping souls through confession, accountability, and the ordinary disciplines that form resilient Christians. That priority reframes the pastor's role from CEO to shepherd and challenges the assumption that charismatic leadership and scalable programs equal spiritual health.Reverence takes center stage as we explore the power of sacred space, ancient hymns, creeds, and participatory liturgy. This isn't about aesthetics; it's about recognizing the holiness of God and recovering practices that have carried the church for centuries. The climax lands on the sacraments, especially communion. We consider the real presence, why the Lord's Table once stood at the heart of worship, and what is lost when a sermon becomes the main event. Along the way, we count the cost of leaving a beloved community and open a path toward unity with a church that offers accountability, depth, and apostolic continuity. If you're wrestling with megachurch hype, soft preaching, or surface fellowship, this conversation offers a map back to depth and stability. In this honest and weighty message kicking off the Sermon on the Mount, Pastor Karl walks through the Beatitudes—the nine “blessed are” statements that reveal the heart attitudes Jesus demands of every true disciple. From spiritual poverty and mourning over sin to meekness, insatiable hunger for righteousness, mercy, purity of heart, peacemaking, and even rejoicing in persecution, these aren't optional extras; they're the non-negotiable “be-attitudes” that must mark every citizen of God's kingdom. When these attitudes shape us, we naturally become the salt of the earth and the light of the world—distinct from culture, preserving what is decaying, and shining so brightly that others see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven. A convicting reminder that following Jesus was never meant to look like the world around us.Watch all our sermons on our youtube channel "Flipside Christian Church"Join us in person 9:00am & 10:30am every Sunday morning.37193 Ave 12 #3h, Madera, CA 93636For more visit us at flipside.churchFor more podcasts visit flipsidepodcasts.transistor.fm

From Tyndale's plowboy to Knox's "church in the house," Kevin, Scott, and Danny show how Scripture reshaped family life, restored marriage, and redirected education. The stakes remain: man-centered modernity or God-centered discipleship in every sphere.

Sola Fide: Justification By Faith Alone

The Reformed Rookie

The Reformation rediscovered the five SOLAs: Sola Scriptura, Sola Fide, Sola Gratia, Solus Christus, and Soli Deo Gloria. The Reformation began with Martin Luther's 95 Theses, intended to reform the church, addressing issues like indulgences and simony. The formal cause of the Reformation was Sola Scriptura, emphasizing the Bible's authority over the Church. The material cause was salvation by faith in Christ alone.Romans 1:16-17 highlights the Gospel as God's power for salvation through faith. The bad news is mankind is ungodly and unrighteous, suppressing the truth (Romans 1:18-20, 3:10-18). Man's heart is evil, dead in sin, and by nature, children of wrath (Genesis 3:6, 6:3; Ephesians 2). No one is justified by works of the law (Romans 3:19). Man cannot save himself.Righteousness comes through faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 3:21). All have sinned and fall short of God's glory, but are justified by grace through Christ's redemption. Abraham's faith was counted as righteousness (Romans 4). God declares sinners legally innocent through justification, a gift based on faith, not works. Justification through faith in Christ brings peace with God (Romans 5).Jesus' parable of the Pharisee and tax collector illustrates justification by faith (Luke 18). God's name, Jehovah Tsidkenu, means "The Lord our righteousness" (Jeremiah 23:6). In contrast, Romanism/Eastern Orthodoxy views justification as a lifelong process involving works. They believe in infused righteousness and reject imputed righteousness. Catholics believe believers can obtain merit through good works produced by grace. The Protestant view is that a sinner is justified, God's righteousness is imputed, then sanctification occurs, followed by glorification. The Romanist view is that baptism infuses righteousness, but sin returns, requiring works and sacraments. The "treasury of merit" is unbiblical. Almsgiving does not cover sins. The Mass involves re-sacrificing Jesus, contradicting Hebrews. God justifies the ungodly (Romans 8). Works mark salvation but do not merit it. Professing Jesus is not enough; one must possess Him and be born again.Cardinal Barron's view on salvation for non-Christians is questioned, contrasting it with Jesus's statement in John 14:6. Galatians 2:15-16 emphasizes justification through faith in Jesus Christ, not works of the law. Faith plus works equals salvation is man-centered, while faith equals salvation plus works is God-centered. Justification by works is the essence of every false religion.#SolaFide #Reformation #MartinLuther #FaithAlone #FiveSolas #Justification #GraceAlone #Theology #Christianity #Gospel

Does our Church allow this? 15:01 – My friend says they are not Catholic because every apostolic Church claims to be the one true Church. How do I respond? 19:13 – I'm Catholic. Rev 20:4-6 Where are the souls that are sleeping? 25:06 – How do I talk to non-Catholics who say they can't be Catholic because of how they treated natives? 33:32 – I understand the intercession of saints but a lot of the time the actual prayer sounds like it’s directed to them and not just intercession. 47:45 – Catholics are too obsessed with the physical like, scapulars, and medals. Those things are not in the bible and are traditions of men. 52:42 – I'm Lutheran. The issue for me is Sola Scriptura and when the Church contradicts scripture.

In this episode, we dive deep into the life and legacy of Martin Luther—the monk who sparked the Protestant Reformation and shook the foundations of Rome's power. From the thunderstorm vow that led him to the monastery, to the 95 Theses that exposed indulgence corruption and the money machine behind it, we follow Luther's rise as both reformer and lightning rod. We'll unpack his core doctrines of Sola Fide and Sola Scriptura, his raw and unfiltered Table Talk, his rejection of Copernicus's fraudulent heliocentric model, and even his later writings that mainstream historians twist or hide. Was Luther a lone man of conscience, or also a tool in the larger struggle between elites, bankers, and princes? Emaul: thefacthunter@mail.comMartin Luther The Jews And Their Lieshttps://archive.org/details/martin-luther-the-jews-and-their-lies

Justin Peters delivers a comprehensive examination of the ruinous ruse of Rome by contrasting Roman Catholic theology with biblical Christianity through the lens of the five Reformation solas. This ruinous ruse of Rome becomes evident when examining salvation by grace alone, faith alone, in Christ alone, for God's glory alone, according to Scripture alone. Peters demonstrates how the Roman Catholic Church has redefined fundamental biblical terms like grace, justification, and faith while adding works, sacraments, and human merit to salvation. This presentation exposes Rome's doctrine of transubstantiation, the sacrifice of the Mass, purgatory, and Marian dogmas as departures from Scripture. Through careful biblical exposition and historical documentation from the Council of Trent, Peters shows how Rome has anathematized the gospel itself by rejecting justification by faith alone and requiring ongoing works for salvation. The message honors the Protestant Reformers who sacrificed their lives—including John Hus, William Tyndale, and Hugh Latimer—to restore biblical truth and make Scripture accessible to all believers. ★ Support this podcast ★

The Patrick Coffin Show | Interviews with influencers | Commentary about culture | Tools for transformation

1 Leo XIV learns an important lesson, partly. 1️⃣ Pope Leo XIV Backs Off Politics After months of backlash over his geopolitical hot takes, Pope Leo XIV seems to be learning a rare Vatican lesson: silence is sometimes golden. Sources say the pontiff is stepping back from partisan commentary, focusing instead on evangelization and unity. Patrick Coffin breaks down why Catholics should welcome a pope who prays more and opines less — and how mixing theology with foreign policy never ends well. 2️⃣ Charlie Kirk Case Narrative Collapsing. The official story about the Charlie Kirk murder is unraveling faster than legacy media can spin. Patrick Coffin unpacks how new evidence and brave voices — notably Candace Owens and independent reporters — are exposing contradictions, suppressed footage, and political motives. As the truth surfaces, this case could redefine how Americans view media manipulation and law enforcement narratives. Truth doesn't fear investigation — it demands it. 3️⃣ Faith Under Fire: New Course Announcement Patrick Coffin announces Faith Under Fire, an all-new online course for Catholics who want to defend truth with clarity and charity. Students will tackle objections to God's existence, “once saved, always saved,” Sola Scriptura, Marian dogmas, and the Real Presence — all grounded in Scripture, history, and reason. Learn how to stay calm, confident, and Catholic in the face of modern unbelief. Enroll today and reignite your faith.
