Spoiler alert: the Tin Whiskers offerings were less than great this time around. We talk about concerts, huntin', critters and hides, cold weather camping, court hearings, "stuff and stuff," lefse (and other MN phrases). Other topics include Amanda's kids adventures with Covid and international travel, as well as their stepmom's adventures impersonating a medical doctor. MNUFC beat SKC to head to the Western Conference Final, so we take the Ice House Challenge as we break the game down, then preview Seattle. We also have a guest tell us what it was like to be at SKC for the match. Craft beer from Bauhaus Brew Labs, Tin Whiskers and Boulevard as well as craft whiskey from Tattersall Distilling.

On this fine, phallically-named Last Call show after recording Rieslings, good ol' "Guest #2" Ben hangs on with us to chat about another mixed pack, a couple of pickle-type beers, and an IPA. In the mixed pack from Cigar City we sample and review Florida Cracker belgian white ale, Guayabera citra pale ale, Jai Alai India pale ale, and Florida Man DIPA. Our pickle beer selection included Boulevard's Chill Vibes sour ale with cucumber, and Tin Whiskers' Deep Space Brine kolsch. Lastly, we check out Inbound's Fruit of the Loop citrus IPA. Episode #147 Tin Whiskers and Gift Exchange!In today's episode we talk about Tin Whiskers brewing in Saint Paul, MNWe'll taste several brews from their taproom and a Mint Patties Double Stout in our studioFinally, we engage in a spirited non-denominational exchange of gifts.We tasted the Mint Patties Double Stout in studio for this episode, and while Aaron didn't ultimately enjoy the whole experience, we want you to know that it was pleasant at first for him.With our intrepid guest Kelsey, we continued our tour of breweries and taprooms in Saint Paul, and while at Tin Whiskers, Andrea tasted the monthly Bot IPA release (Cash Bot), Kelsey tasted the Orange Dream State, and Aaron tasted a version of the Parsec Porter which had added coffee flavor and was a nitro (HE LIKED IT!!!!), and also tasted the Nut Goodie Porter, which he didn't enhoy as much. While at Tin Whiskers we ordered pizza from the downtown Saint Paul location of Black Sheep.Andrea and Aaron were both amazed that they both gifted each other a drinking vessel and a journal to write in.
